Australia said it is ‘unhelpful’

The Australians got the cheek to tell China that its Air Defence Identification Zone is unhelpful? An ADIZ is a nation’s defensive line to guard against an intrusion by air. Why didn’t the Australians tell the Japanese that their ADIZ is unhelpful?

And it is helpful to tap on the private phones of the President of a neighbouring country and his close associates? This is definitely not unhelpful ya. It is bad, it is offensive, and it is downright immoral act. The Indonesians should not let this pretender to continue acting high and mighty. They should punish the Australians nice and proper for such obnoxious act against their President and who else.

Is this tapping act helpful, Julie Bishop?

It only matters what they do, how they are able to do it, and what actually happened, and not what they say.

Applies regardless of whether Australians, Japanese, Yankees, PAP or even Sinkie opposition.

It is also downright unhelpful for the Yanks to send two B52 bombers, albeit not armed as claimed, to test China's new Air Defence Zone.

The Chinese should just scramble their latest fighters and shoot the damn Yankee planes out of the sky.

OK. Defcon 1, so what?

Fuck all, let's annihilate each other.

All the overpaid charlatans of the world have the most to lose.

Chua Chin Leng aka redbean said...

China should simply warn the Americans that any unidentified aircraft will be intercepted and accident might happen, like a missile being fired. The chances of such an accident will be higher than in the case of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade.

Or a drone may crash with aircraft without flight plans and no transponder.

Actually the Aust-Indon spy thing is coming to a resolution. Like I said: it's thru the back channels.

The NSA and CIA, plus other "secret" alphabet agencies of WASP (White Anglo Saxon Protestant) cuntrees have NO CHOICE but to spy on Islamic cuntrees like Indonesia and Malaysia. Everybody is aware that there are radical Islamic groups within those cuntrees "hiding" amongst the population of mostly "moderate" Muslims. No ones whether the governments of those Islamic cuntrees are compromised, and if they are how deep does it go? Could there be Muslim govt officials who sympathise with Islamic terrorists? No one knows, yet the prospect is PLAUSIBLE.

Terrorist threats (in the region) which have been thwarted in the past and their members traced back to Indonesia and Malaysia -- the governments being ineffective in dealing with the problem. Those terror attacks which were not thwarted resulted in horrible death and destruction.

Supposing there was NO spying going on, and then a terrorist attack, say in Singapore. Then you have a situation of people screaming for answers asking WHY the government has failed in gathering intel? By gathering intel, they might have been able to stop the attack -- again, this is a "maybe", but the government has got to put in EFFORT to protect the cuntree and its citizens from being blown up by Jihadist assholes.

So the question is not whether to spy or not, but to what extent does the spying go?

>> The Australians got the cheek to tell China that its Air Defence Identification Zone is unhelpful?

One thing you can rest assured: Australia is full of cheeky people, who will tell you to your face if they are "dissatisfied" with something.

In this case, Australia is behaving like a proxy of the USA.

Chua Chin Leng aka redbean said...

As for the B52s, it is an aggressive act of defiance. China should make an announcement that military aircraft encroaching within a 200nm radious of China's territorial airspace is considered a hostile intrusion if they did not notify China and can be shot down like they used to shoot down the U2s overflying China on spy mission.

Not so easy lah. China has to play cool because everyone in the region is waiting for China to fuck up.

Flying 2 B52s into China's newly-claimed territory is definitely a provocative step. The most potent response, IMO, is to be coy. Just tell the US, please respect our territory; don't do that again. No anger. No emotion.

Then if the US does it again, dump a few hundred billion in US Treasuries -- sink their dollar, cause a spike in US interest rates, and fuck up Christmas for them ;-)

Matilah is right. Kudos to him.

Where is the Kim Guy from?

Seems like he is a fantastic historian, military expert/scientist/strategist and all in one.
Sin has such calibre and why is he/she not interested to talk about local affairs.
Those highbrow stuff he/she talk about matters little to Sinkies.
Squabbling over issues with little to do with Sinkies and littering the space here is irking many readers leh.

The USSR and USA military jet fly into one anothers ADIZ without giving each other a damn.

No big deal if USA and Japan fighter hoover around and keep quiet.

But every civilian aircraft identify themselves and this time, JAL and ANA will not be any exception. Imagine if China keep harassing civilian flight with intercepters.

When did China shoot down a U2 in a spy mission over its territory??

Don waste time.

Anonymous said...

It was not shot down.

It was brought down undamaged.

That was superiority in high technology.

Chua Chin Leng aka redbean said...

'We were fortunate that we were able to develop our missile artillery, and that we could use the surface-to-air missile to bring down the U-2.

Five U-2s were shot down with Russian-developed SA-2 surface-to-air missiles of an early generation, with limited range. This made the Chinese achievement quite remarkable. To hit the U-2 at its altitude, the missile practically had to be launched from almost directly underneath its flight path. How did you manage that?

It was just like guerrilla warfare. Our missile launchers were fixed on military trucks and could be moved around. We had some sense of where the priority targets of interest to the U-2s were, and that’s where we located our launchers. We generally fired at the U-2 when it was within a range of 15 kilometers [49,212 feet], and we used certain tactics to bring the U-2 into that range. For example, when a U-2 was detected in an area where a missile launcher was located, we cut off all the radars in that area so the U-2 would not be alerted to their presence. The U-2 was not very maneuverable. When it started getting within range, we would suddenly turn on the radars, and it was too late for the U-2 to react.'

Go google.

Anonymous said...

'to prevent misinformation, the U-2 came again, was shot down. then again. and again. then uncle sam got smart and stopped sending them.'

Abang Beruang is a bitter man. He's been supporting the Muslim cause for a long time. He even attacked some Pappy Malay stooge for being anti-tudong. Abang Beruang implied that the stooge used the word 'Terrorpore' when he did not. In the end, the anti-tudong Pappy Malay stooges ganged up on him and probably complained about him to the Pappy top dog. Now they've made it so difficult for readers to enter Abang Beruang's blog that nobody goes there. Abang Beruang is a lonely, bitter man without an audience. And he feels betrayed too. He's never used the word 'f**k' before and now he freely uses it. He's become like the people he used to criticize. Sad. I bet he even misses PinkRox & friends (actually one person, most likely to be Matilah). Be careful RB, Abang Beruang, in my opinion, is slowly turning into a virtual suicide bomber and might just blow himself up here.

Good morning Dan Yong, welcome to the blog. The Aussies are a member of the Evil Empire. One day, if the Indonesians get their acts together and turn out to be another economic miracle like China, then it will have a tough neighbour to deal with.

Asean at the moment is weak as several of its members are part of the Evil Empire too. If the Indonesians take full leadership of Asean and call the shot, the Evil Empire's room for manouvre would shrink, and so would the voice of the Australians.
