Trump opposes curbs on AI. Did he get it right this time?

UNITED NATIONS: US President Donald Trump on Tuesday (Sep 22) announced that the US government would rename artificial intelligence "super intelligence" in official communications, as world leaders jostled over how to address the dangers of the fast-advancing technology.

AI has become a major topic at the UN General Assembly after incidents of the technology falling out of the control of humans and warnings by company insiders drew global alarm and calls for better government supervision of the industry.

Speaking to the assembly, Trump stood by his firm opposition to regulating AI, while arguing the word "artificial" undersold the technology and voicing hope the rest of the world would adopt the new term. CNA

Where is the call for wanting to constrain the growth of AI coming from? Who is spreading fear of AI? Like all new technology, there will be doomsayers calling for its ban or restriction. AI is the natural progression of human civilisation towards more knowledge, information and understanding of everything in life. No one is disputing the power of AI and Trump is not wrong to want to rename it super intelligence. He may even want to call it Trump Intelligence if he could think of it.

Is the fear of AI valid? Why opposing AI or fearing the spread of AI when it is a good thing? The Americans have called on the banning of many new technologies, from 5G, EVs, solar panels, mobile phone technologies, drones, CCTV and face recognition...for reasons best known to themselves. Missuse, abuse, AI being used as a weapon for espionage and destruction, with Anthropic even suggesting AI will end civilisation. CCTV and face recognition are the best and most effective weapons against crimes, terrorists, mischiefs, saboteurs, trouble makers, and you know who.

Now the world is parroting the call to stop the growth of AI. What a joke. The threat and fear of AI are the evil people with unfriendly and hostile intent in the use of AI, not AI per se. The call to limit or slow the growth of AI by the jokers called world leaders is the same as their calls for the ban of nuclear weapons. It will end up with the little guys being handcuffed and not allowed to maximise the use of AIs while the rogues will continue to develop them to the fullest extend to be used against countries and individuals. 

Iran is going to be annihilated by the savages with the most deadly nuclear weapons using the excuse that Iran is going to have nuclear weapons one day. What a silly crap argument. And the rogues and savages using this argument will continue to develop and build more and more deadly nuclear weapons. This will also be the case for AI if the rogues and savages have their way. Only they are allowed to have the best AIs while the rest of the world will be constrained, limited and may even be banned from using AI. They may even make it a crime for the small and weak countries to use AI and deprive them from the technology. Remember the fearmongering about aliens on the moon to frighten people from going to the moon?

The push to ban 5G, EVs, CCTV/facial recognition etc etc is a lie being pushed by the Americans to stop countries using these technologies as the Americans' evil intent to deploy these technologies against civilisation will be compromised and made difficult. Facial recognition will mean all American spies, CIA operators will not be able to function freely in other countries, all the evil men and criminals would be easily identified and arrested...no where to hide.

The Americans would want to curb the advancement and spread of AI to prevent others from getting the full benefits of AI. They will want to monopolise AI and the use of AI to control the world, to threaten the rest of the world, to blackmail the world, just like their multi billion dollar data centres and chip technologies.

AI should go the way of Open AI models, freely available to all and sundry. The abusers and criminals that are exploiting AI are the real problems to be tackled. Stop undermining the young and deprive them of AI technology and stopping their growth and development in acquiring technologies and information in the new world. Why tie the hands of the innocent users but to enable the rogues and criminals a free hand at AI? Why stop countries like Iran to have nuclear weapons when rogue America is having all the nuclear weapons to threaten to wipe out Iran?

PS. When everyone has AI, like nuclear weapons, no one has to fear the Americans or those who have. Everyone will be able to hack into American systems, not only the Americans hacking into other countries' systems. Both can play the game on a level playing field.

India's foreign talents are being  kicked out from the 5 I countries, with USA, Canada and UK topping the list. Hundreds of Indians are now forced to return to India on a one way ticket and not welcomed back in these countries. The net result is an abundance of Indians that were used to the higher pay in these countries returning home to India but unable to find the same kind of pay, nothing near to what they were used to be getting in India. India may be able to provide some kind of employment to these returnees, some may try to start their own businesses with their own savings. But without the market and supply chains, these new startups can only last for as long as the savings can keep them alive. The startups are not the established big companies in the 5 I countries and would take years to grow a business from scratch.

A few hundred thousands of these Indians is no joke for India where decent jobs are hard to come back. Many would be looking around for another country to provide them with jobs that would pay them a decent wage than in India. The richest Indian city in SE Asia is likely to be their top choice and can expect a long queue heading its way.  Would these Indians be allowed in to replace their no talent population and create more unemployment for the locals...and more social unrest and unhappiness? Oops, unlikely to hear anymore complaints.

When the 5 I countries start to close the door to the Indians, no country is large enough to cater for the oversupply of these Indian talents. Even India cannot afford to take them back. So, who is going to be the charitable Santa Claus to offer good decent jobs to the returned Indians?

Trump just woke up from his dream last night and said that the Houthis have agreed not to fight the USA. Have the Houthis said anything? Have Iran agreed, being the power behind the throne? What about the communication with the Houthis he is bragging about. Must also have happened in his sleep. Probably sleepwalking.

Now let us dissect Trump's dysfunctional gloating. If the Houthis have agreed not to fight the USA, and the USA continues to help the Saudi Arabia under begging by MBS, what does that indicate? Something like what Israel is doing in Gaza and Lebanon, with the USA not fighting Hamas and Hezbollah directly, but prodding escalation behind the scenes. See the big picture?

If the USA continues to help the Saudi Arabia with weapons, do we honestly believe the Houthis will just close one eye and say thank you USA? If the USA wants to wash its hands off the Saudi and Houthi problem, it should not be sending more weapons to Saudi Arabia. Common sense will tell us that the Houthis, allied with Iran, is not going to just stop at fighting the Saudis and leave USA military targets untouched. South Korea does not want to be the doggie anymore

South Korea was the doggie that always sent troops to fight alongside the USA. South Korea provided three hundred thousand rotating troops to fight in Vietnam for the USA during the War. Vietnam should always remember what the South Koreans did and keep that in mind. The same as China remembering the Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese and not allowing it to fade from memory.

Now South Korea says it is not sending troops to fight for the USA in the Iran War, which riled Trump. I believe it is providing arms and ammunition, nevertheless. Lest we forget, some THAAD defensive missiles were moved out of South Korea to Israel. This shows who matters more to the USA when the shit hits the fan. Trump is unable to rein in Kim Jong Un at all, and this is another worry for the South Koreans.

The reason why South Korea is rethinking its position over the Iran War sounds obvious, as Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, will always be around, and the oil shipments out of the Gulf matters to South Korea. South Korea knows what this all means if the USA cannot win the war against Iran and leaves eventually.

South Korea knows its position very well in East Asia too, with the North Koreans already a big enough problem. Which is why Lee Jae Myung wants to end the war footing that has been ongoing for more than seventy years since 1950. The war is still on theoretically, with the truce just holding. How long do you think the USA can remain in South Korea? Hong long do you think the North Koreans will remain on the Korean Peninsula? I believe the South Koreans have now realized the USA is not going to be there forever, while the North is not going away.

The South Koreans already saw what is happening in the Persian Gulf. The USA could not even defend its military establishments over there. In a war with the North Koreans and China, the same is going to happen here. So, better for South Korea to hedge its bets on certainty rather than risk it all.

Walsh will not last long

Trump can appoint whoever he thinks will carry out his dictate, but the reality just cannot be bent towards fulfilling an imaginary target. If Jerome Powell could do it, he would have done so without Trump putting him under all the pressure over the years and eventual removal.

I think Jerome Powell must have felt vindicated over his refusal to cut interest rates, and his removal must be a blessing in disguise, leaving the problem to Walsh. I think Walsh will not even last working under the pressure exerted by the childish President that do not understand the problem and refused to see the reality.

Raising interest rate is going to cause inflation to spike further, increase housing mortgage cost, increase borrowing cost for business maintenance and expansion, reduce consumer spending and tighten the job market further with business closures. Increasing interest rate is an invitation to a problem that feeds on itself.

But, as always, they can continue to boost job creation with fictitious claims before November, then revise the fabricated figures downwards later by hundreds of thousands. It has already been done before, so expect more of the same.

WTF are the Saudis doing? Trump ready to destroy Iran and the Middle East

 For six months, the Arab and Muslim states seem to be happy watching from the sideline in the American Operation to Kill Iranians. And the Americans are saying MBS is asking Americans for help to strike at the Houthis for closing the Bab El Mandeb Strait and for striking at Saudi oil facilities. Mecca and Riyadh are also hit and the damages are serious. And the latest, the Saudis are begging the Israelis for help to fight the Houthis which means fighting Iran's allies.

WTF are the Saudis doing? They were doing fine staying on the sideline but now deeply involved and looking very vulnerable. There are many valuable assets to be hit in Saudi Arabia, including the Palaces. Why would the Saudis dip their fingers into this fight between the American and Israeli terrorists and the Iranians? The Houthis would not be hitting Saudi facilities and Saudi oil could still move through the Bab El Mandeb Strait if the Saudis just do nothing. Why invite all the trouble and now begging for help? Are the Saudis that stupid?

What is happening? Who is calling the shot? What is real and what is unreal?

What about the colonies like Germany, Japan and South Korea? Germany has all the good reasons to stay out, with its contribution to the Ukraine War as its excuse. What about Japan and South Korea, the two Asian colonies? Japan knows how precarious its situation is if the Arab oil is cut off if it dares to meddle with this silly mission to kill Iranians, and the muted genocide against the Palestinians. The Japanese cannot afford to offend the Arab and Muslim oil producers. Period. 

South Korea too must have come under heavy pressure to send troops to the Middle East. The South Koreans had been the most zealous or obedient colony in the past, sending hundreds of thousands to kill the Vietnamese in Nam. Why not now? How dare the South Koreans said no to the American terrorists, especially the gangsters like Trump and Hegseth? Well, they just said NO. What can Trump do?

The pressure for contribution to this Kill Iranian Operation is not to be underestimated. Europe for all its good reasons, are staying out. Now it is left to the weaker crony states like those in SE Asia. You bet the Americans would be breathing heavily on the Asean leaders. Do not say that blessings cannot go away in Singapore's context. The mention of the Isthmus of Kra project is already sending misgivings to Singapore. Why all the protesting, brickbats and spanner throwing together with the USA? The latter is more afraid of its choking agenda being dismantled. Close down the ICC kangaroo court

Rodrigo Duterte's action against drug lords is considered a crime against humanity. What a load of rubbish when fighting drug menace is the responsibility of those in power.

SA's war crimes in Iraq using fabricated evidence, crime committed against humanity sinking vessels in the Caribbean Sea and supporting genocides in Gaza are strangely non-existent in the eyes of the ICC.

ICC ought to be renamed to 'No Eyes See' instead of International Criminal Court. A Criminal Court is supposed to take action against all criminals regardless of nationality, not ad hoc action against those chosen just to be sacrificial lambs. What the ICC is doing is saying that those with big guns commit no crime or are exempted.

Trump is the rascal, NOT Xi. Xi is the gentleman

... the crevasse of tensions over Taiwan, which this weekend caused Xi to threaten to call off the meeting, there won’t be much to see at the peak. The summit’s main virtue is to show that relations are functional enough to meet at all. Both sides’ untrustworthiness and unilateral pursuit of strategic leverage will sharply confine its substance.

It’s common to describe the Xi-Trump relationship as transactional rather than based on principles. In reality, it isn’t even that. Anything they agree is subject to fudging and reneging. Their only real compact is a balance of terror, refraining from escalating trade or other actions for fear of mutual destruction.

The American economy is so bad that even Trump appointee Walsh has to raise rate

Trump initially was not happy that the former Fed Chief, Jerone Powell, did not cut interest rates fast enough and was removed by Trump. Now his own chosen appointee, Kevin Maxwell Walsh, instead of cutting interest rate, is doing just the opposite. Trump is riled and caught in a bind for November, with inflation rising. The Fed is even talking about another rate hike by the end of this year. Will Walsh outlasts Trump is the question.

Trump is now gloating about imposing 100% tariffs on China and India for buying Iranian oil in a bill to be passed, a sanction that had already been used against China and India for buying Russian oil and trying to add Iran into the picture. Have we gone through that already?

I was not wrong to say that any measures taken is all to target China, while India is also affected. But India needs US$ as its rupee is not widely in demand by others for doing trade. Its rate of depreciating makes it toxic to hold. Even close allies, like Russia, does not want to sell its oil in rupees, preferring the Chinese Yuan or ruble, which is an affront to the Indians. How much rupees Russia still holds selling oil to India in the past is not known.

As I always say, Trump and his administration can increase those tariffs to 1,000% and it will not make any major difference if China just continue to cut its exports to the USA, making de-dollarization even more beneficial for China and BRICS. If there is little trade between China and USA, what is the point of a 100% tariff? Impose more secondary 100% tariffs on countries trading with China? Go ahead.

China can just sell more to the Global South at the same price, make the same profit, keep the same factories humming, increase its trade surplus without any economic consequences.

Who suffers? The USA consumers of course, which goes without saying. Sure, they could source for alternatives from elsewhere, but at what price and quantity that only China can produce. For me, I am clapping that USA goes ahead with secondary sanctions on China that is getting less and less detrimental, just like the primary sanctions over the decades. Imagine exporting to the Global South and using the Yuan as the intermediary, without the need for US$. Honestly, the USA is cutting its nose to spite its face. But it is in desperate straits, so anything goes.

Trump is now calling the fear of excessive AI development as a hoax. Anything that goes against his warped thinking is a hoax. The USA last bastion is in AI and data center investments, and big tech in USA are just using circle investing to give semblance of all-time highs on Wall Street. Singapore's blessings turning into misgivings

 Singapore benefited from many blessings in its short history of existence. Some are natural, geography, some are through thrift and hard work and the contributions of wise leaders and a compliant population willing to sacrifice and struggle through hard times with the leaders, tightened the belt, spent less, save for tomorrow.

Two of the blessings benefiting Singapore today is plenty of money and the ability to pay many million dollar employees. Singapore is now often spoken of as the richest or second richest country on earth using per capita income as a measurement. The average per capita income for Singaporeans is something like US$90,000. Of course many Singaporeans did not earn this kind of money. The number is being averaged down from the income of many millionaires and billionaires. Nonetheless, Singapore has a lot of money in its national reserves. This is a good thing. Singapore now has officially three state funds managing the nation's reserves which unofficially could be in the trillions. 

The second blessing, since Singapore has so much money, means it can pay a lot of employees in the millions. Yes, you need not be a lucky entrepreneur or businessman to become a millionaire or multi millionaire. Just be an employee, be a happy and lucky employee could bring about a great harvest beyond anyone's dream. And the company needs not be super high tech, just simple supermarket or bus companies can still be their top employees in the millions for relatively mundane work.

But these two blessings could turn around to become misgivings or disadvantage. Singapore just has too much money and is caught in a position on how to invest these money. The problem arises when there are too few good opportunities for investment and ended up having to invest for the sake of investing. When investing because there are too much money in the hands of fund managers, karung guni business also good if can make quick bucks. The danger of having to invest for the sake of investing is obvious. Not investing is not an option. This may lead to a tikam tikam mentality. Lose never mind, plenty of OPM to lose.

Then there are the vultures salivating at the money Singapore has and finding ways to lay their hands on Singapore's pot of gold. The combination of vultures coveting at Singapore's reserves and the push factor for fund managers short of good ideas and investment opportunities can be deadly. One trying to grab, one ever willing to part with the money in the hope of making good returns. And why not, it is OPM after all. What is a few million dollar to lose? Singapore has a lot of money to lose, to part, to play with. This is the first step in the thinking that would lead to squandering our huge national reserves. We got so much money, there is nothing to worry. Money chiat buay leow, soo buay leow.

Caveat, people in organisations and companies with loads of money must be reminded that the money did not fall down from heaven, but created and built over the years by their predecessors. These monies are not for them to squander, to tikam, to throw around freely and irresponsibly. They need to protect them like hell. A mountain of gold can be squandered away easily by the reckless and brainless incumbents.

The other blessing of having too many millionaire employees can become a problem when they have to be seen to be working, to justify being paid in the millions. In a similar way, like investing for the sake of investing but not because there is a good opportunity to invest, overzealousness may not be a good thing. When millionaires that have nothing better to do but wanting to show that they are working hard, may come up with spurious projects or schemes that are better not to have than doing. Doing for the sake of doing, coming up with silly projects that are unnecessary or even wasteful, can be harmful than just being wasteful.

Singapore's good blessings must be cherished and carefully protected and not be turned into holes in the pocket, draining away our reserves callously or irresponsibly, all for nothing, all because there is no accountability and responsibility, all because there is too much money to throw around. Do not be so generous with OPM. The OPM are the blood, sweat and tears money of the previous generations.

One thing for sure, BRICS is not a hoax

Man proposes, God disposes. Who would have thought that Russia will be on the side of China today, when throughout much of the last several decades. China and the Soviet Union were rivals since their split in 1961. Relations were on the mend after the collapse of the Soviet Union and have been improving since then.

When Russia was kicked out of the G7 in 2014, that was to kickstart the cementing of Russia/China ties. BRICS was formed in 2009 by Russia, China, India and Brazil to provide a de-dollarization movement. The weaponization of the US$ had already sound alarm bells for the rest of the world and there was an urgent need to go around the problem. The sanctions on Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela and others did make countries to ask the question - Who is next? The straw that broke the camel's back was the sanctions on Russia and the seizure of Russian assets. There was no longer any question that de-dollarization is the only way forward and not whether it is necessary.

The fact that BRICS is expanding and more countries are queueing to join the bloc speaks for itself. The confidence of de-dollarization is there, and countries want to be sure of not falling into the 'Who is next' conundrum.

From thinking that BRICS is just an irritant against the US$ hegemony, the panic by the USA over what is seen at the recent BRICS meeting in Delhi is telling. The MSM is instead picking on the issue of Xi not attending the gala dinner, trying to promote a split between Xi and Modi. One other notable attendee, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayeh al Nahyan, also did not stay for the gala dinner, but no speculation is being made regarding his absence.

As I always say, the USA has the largest propaganda machine available to fabricate hoaxes that will be picked up by the MSM doggies. You can be sure that China is always at the top of its agenda.

Never say issues do not matter and can just brush them aside or ignore as noises

Same as who really cares about Hougang in 1991. Just a single constituency of poor Teochew people. A backwater place of little significance. Devoid of the upgrading frenzy and left to fester, it slipped out of the ruling party's hands in 1991. The ruling party has been trying to regain that ward for more than three decades.

How in the world can they expect do it by sending in unknown unknowns trying to dislodge a legendary guy. The big guns of the ruling party knew their chances are slim in terms of winning if they stand in Hougang, so they sent in the little lambs to be slaughtered. Letting go of the ward was not an option as it means they lost Hougang forever.

Even when the legendary guy left to contest in Aljunied GRC, those compatriots that came after him were able to retain the ground. That goes to show what kind of people there are in Hougang. Proud, tenacious, cannot be bought even by dangling the upgrading carrot in front of them, unlike in other wards. They thought pressuring Low Thia Khiang to leave Hougang will leave the hanging fruits in Hougang ready for them to harvest. It was not to be.

The biggest loss was to come when the Hougang tree spread its branches to Aljunied GRC and the ruling party panic, after a top-class clique of ruling elites fell to an almost rag tag team of WP candidates put together by Low Thia Khiang. Instead of hoping to put Low to pasture, they created a bigger problem. What was to come was made worse by the loss of Sengkang GRC later plus the low winning margins garnered by the ruling party in many other constituencies in the East.

Never say that issues do not matter and the ruling party can just brush them aside and that whining by those suffering are just noises to be ignored. The ruling party can keep pretending that people will just keep absorbing the punishment quietly, unable to do anything. That will be a wrong assumption.

At 3% growth in USA GDP annually, that will take 44 years to clear the debt, not taking into account the spending spree of almost US$1.5 trillion budgeted and interest payments of US$1.25 trillion on its debts still to be added on. How much is going to be left, if any, of the 3% growth, tell me.

The interest payment of US$125 trillion currently on the US$40 trillion debt alone is more than the GDP growth of around US$900 billion a year based on 3%. I am no mathematician, but what kind of calculation is Scott Bessant using? He can con the rednecks and hillbillies, not the common beans elsewhere. Which is why Treasury sales are cratering.

Some people are unhappy when atrocities and war crimes committed by the real terrorists are mentioned

I know that some people are not happy about comments being repeated about the atrocities and war crimes committed by the real global terrorists and choose to hide their heads in the sand like an ostrich.
Repetition is the way to keep those issues alive and make people realize who those real terrorists are. After all, repetition is the format used by the terrorist-in-chief to demonize others just by using the MSM to support its agenda. They know that they control the MSM and have the capacity to sway the minds of the unwary and unthinking.

It is because the genocides in North America committed centuries ago have been swept under the carpet for centuries, that it becomes almost a forgotten issue and alien to the younger generation. It is because the Anglo-Saxon pirate's seizure of land has not been exposed that the mantra of 'discovery' managed to stick to people's mind for centuries. The Native American Indians have been on the continent for centuries, and yet Columbus had the cheek to say he 'discovered' America and historians have tried to immortalize his status.

Many of the atrocities and war crimes will be forgotten in time if people just let it slide into history being written by biased mindsets, without other people having the conscience to point it out. The war crimes over Hiroshima and Nagasaki were war crimes over the mass killing of civilians. The war crimes in Vietnam over the use of Agent Orange is almost lost from the memory of the younger generation. Only the people in Vietnam suffering the consequences will remember. The war crimes in Gaza will be forgotten in due course as always, without the MSM repeating it. Brainwashing is a terrible disease.

So, I say, keep repeating what you think is right about issues that touches your conscience to do so, nothing more. Hiding heads in the sand will encourage more of the atrocities and crimes. We may not be able to change the outcome, but educating people about the issues is doing something at least, instead of pretending they are will just go away naturally. It will never go away and even embolden the perpetrators into thinking they can always get away from consequences and responsibility.

Legitimate and illegitimate states.

 Countries were formed through evolution and a long period of historical time. Countries evolved when people in certain areas found a common culture and  similar way of life and a common language both written or otherwise. All or most of the countries in Europe evolved in this manner. Same with  all or most of the ancient countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East which evolved peacefully over a long period of historical time. There might be wars or turmoil in tumultuous times when so called leaders fought against each other for power or fought against neighbouring states to expand their countries territories. But generally there was no major killings or motive by a victorious state with intentional  genocide of civilians in a defeated state. So it can be safely said all or most of the ancient countries are legitimate states.

However the Anglo-Saxon United States of white supremacists cannot be called a legitimate state. The United States was formed from stolen land from the natives of America. The Anglo-Saxon invaders from England and Europe not only robbed and plundered the land of the native Americans but they carried out a long systematic genocide of almost all the natives over a long period of a few hundred years from 1700s to the present. The Anglo-Saxon countries of Australia, New Zealand and Argentina were formed in similar manner as the Anglo-Saxon United States. So they too are illegitimate states. Israel too is an illegal and illegitimate state because it was formed from stolen land of the Palestinians and the genocide of the Palestinians with the complicity of Anglo-Saxon US and UK. All illegitimate states must of necessity be destroyed and the stolen lands return to the rightful original owners. In the case of the US the lands must be returned to the native Americans and for Zionist Israel, their stolen lands must be returned to the  Palestinian/Arabs. 

But the pariah United States like to falsely label China as an illegitimate state just to deflect the world's attention from its own illegitimacy. China is the world's oldest civilization of more than 5,000 years and the world of all national states have benefited much from her in all forms of human endeavours in education, science, technology, mathematics, astrology, philosophy and the good governance of a government.

Reckless attacks on China and investments in AI and data centres are unsustainable

 Let us be honest. Without Russia and China framing BRICS, no other country dares to join the bloc. They have seen what happened to Iraq and Libya and knows they have no deterrent against the terrorist-in-chief and its doggies.

Russia and China are strong enough, Russia militarily and China economically, together to deter any terrorism moves against BRICS, which is why so many countries dared to join the bloc. You can be sure that destroying BRICS is now the agenda of the terrorist-in-chief. All the conflicts are targeted against China, directly or indirectly.

The kidnapping of Maduro is an attempt to deny cheap oil for China, nothing more. The war against Iran, using the enriched Uranium excuse, is also to deny cheap discounted Iranian oil for China. What is even more detrimental is the closure of the Strait of Hormuz to deny Gulf oil going to China.

As China did not suffer the economic detrimental consequences, being well-prepared, the USA has resorted to using secondary sanctions on countries trading with Iran, knowing that China is actually the ultimate target.

We have seen all the many economic strangulation of China - trade wars, tariffs, semiconductor sanctions, denial of EV markets, sanctions against Chinese entities like Huawei and roping in all the doggies in support.

I just read the news that tech giants in USA are reining in investments in AI and data centers. This is telling and shows that what many analysts are saying are coming true. It is unsustainable.

Latest news is that OpenAI's IPO, scheduled in 2026 after SpaceX has been delayed till 2027. This is also telling, knowing that the economic situation in the USA is far from rosy, despite all-time highs on the stock market. Investors in SpaceX obviously got burnt, providing a lesson for OpenAI, knowing that its IPO is not that optimistic. Of course they will spin everything to suit their agenda. I am not an investment guru, just my two cents worth, so pardon me if I am wrong.

SINGAPORE: The Public Service Division (PSD) said on Monday (Sep 14) that it was reviewing the data and methodology of information of a working paper by a United States-based research organisation that alleged civil servants "disproportionately" purchased homes near planned but not yet publicly announced MRT stations.

The report alleged that the culprits were middle level civil servants. The report implies that it is not isolated incident but quite prevailing, meaning many are involved.

Gao Zhikai debunks the Thucydides Trap

 For the war perpetrators and savages that believe in wars and killings, Graham Allison's book on the Clash of Civilisation was a welcoming gift to justify their thirst for war with China and whoever standing in the way of the evil American Empire. According to this Harvard scholar, the war between China, a rising power, and the sitting hegemon, the USA, is inevitable. This becomes a justification for a war with China, a must have event in the near future.

Gao Zhikai, a long time translator of Deng Xiaoping, a renowned professor in his own right, got his PhD from Yale, is telling Graham Allison that his narrative for a war between China and the USA is unlikely to come true. There will be no direct war between China and the USA, maybe some proxy wars with eager Mickey Mouse dying to die for the Americans.

Allison based his study on historical precedents which were true up to a point. The Roman Empire, British Empire, American Empire, were all empires rising from conquests and wars. The Pax or peace during the reins of these empires were false peace, especially during Pax Americana. Pax Britannica and Pax Romana came about after the two powers subdued and destroyed their enemies and imposed a peace on the losers, their victims, ruling over them. It was an enforced peace under the power of the gun. Pax Americana was never an era of peace. It was filled with unending wars throughout and still with wars in Ukraine, Iran, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa. It should be called an era of unending wars under the evil American Empire. Only the American allies and cronies enjoyed some peace at their home countries, but often dragged into wars by the Americans.

The rise of China is not by war and invasion. It is economics and peaceful. China's rise till today has yet to fire a bullet in the last 40 years. China has not been at war with any country in the name of conquest or any silly fabricated lies invented by the American terrorists. China is not going to challenge the Americans in a hot war to dethrone the American Empire and to become the next hegemon. China is all about progress and economic growth and development and trade. The other factor that Gao cited as the main reason against a direct military confrontation between China and the USA is nuclear weapons. War has never been more destructive today than in the past when killings and winning a war is a time for celebration and claiming to be brave and heroism. A nuclear war is total destruction on both sides. no winners. No sensible leader or country would want to go into a nuclear war and think they can survive the outcome. Caveat, the American terrorists are trying to lie and convince themselves that they win a nuclear war. These savages are now planning to nuke Iran, to kill them all. But the sensible American leaders, not the brainless hillbillies, rednecks and clowns in Washington, will be there to stop such a war when there will be no winner and no survivors.

With the risk of nuclear annihilation, a war between China and the USA is unlikely. Caveat, cannot rule it out totally when reckless and irresponsible clowns are in charge in Washington and Tel Aviv. Would Allison still think a nuclear war between China and the USA possible?

Gao Zhikai also talked about a Pax Sinica emerging. Pax Sinica will bring about an era of true peace or a world that is more peaceful, with lesser wars than Pax Americana, a fake peace but really a world engulfed in unending wars. China is not going to invade any country, not going to war with any country. China is building partnership and peace through trade and economic development, not about alliances, gangsterism and subjugation of countries, be with us or against us. Pax Sinica is about inclusivity, win win relationship, not about zero sum game under the American Empire. China has a version of the new world, all countries trading and living together without pursuing war. It is difficult to achieve with the American and Europeans savages wanting to control and dominate the world, with their imperialist and colonial thinking of a world ruled by the white men, under a white hegemon. The white men cannot envisage or visualise a world without a hegemon, but multipolar world where nations can co exist peacefully and pursuing economic growth and prosperity by trading with each other, free trade without excluding and isolating any country or region.

Tata is gloating about profitability by 2027 for Air India...think some fools believe this

Air India and its owner, Tata and SIA, are banking on its ability to build connections to Dubai to connect globally. That war against Pakistan and the closing of Pakistan's airspace to Indian airline is just a lame excuse but is nevertheless just making the problem for Air India worse going forward. Air India had already been losing money even before the war against Pakistan.

But that hype about profitability all depends on its ability to get new aircrafts on time. Boeing and Airbus have backlog stretching to 10 to 12 years, with more than 16,000 jets to deliver. Moreover, we now understand that even upgrading its run- down fleet inherited from the Indian Government is a problem without the supply chains to match. Depending on those old aircraft will drive away passengers, even its own locals.

Tata is gloating about profitability by 2027. Where are the retrofitting needed for the old aircraft that passengers are complaining about? If even changing the seats are problematic, what about maintenance issues? When are the new planes coming? 2 aircraft delivery a month or 24 a year is going to take 20 years to complete the delivery of the 470 aircrafts ordered. What about the needs of other Indian airlines? Which seems to be a hurdle trying to retire those old aircrafts without replacements.

If people earning $1m, $500k or $100k are feeling the stress or discomfort of money not enough, what about those in the lower rung of the income ladder? What about those living from paycheck to paycheck, and those still finding it not enough to get by? Then what about those that have no income, the unemployed and the retirees? It is so scary to see prices running away everyday when one has no income, no saving or little savings.

The frustration, fear and the struggle to live, to put food on the table are real, to be able to afford 3 meals in the richest country in the world but unable to do so. Then there are stupid schemes that taxed on the poor that are struggling with every cent they have but have to pay for plastic bags and bottles. Are these really clever ideas? The cost of implementation is not peanuts compare to the savings, and savings for who? The hardware, software, the people to manage the system, and the millions of Singaporeans crawling around like ants to get a few cents or a dollar refund. Millions of people have been set in motion to bring plastic bottles, cans and whatever just to claim back a few cents. What about those seniors that were unable to crawl to the machines to claim their 20 cents? To those that have to forfeit claiming, it means that they are paying more unnecessarily.

To the millionaires, what is a few million dollars? To those at the bottom of society, every cent counts. Stop squeezing blood from stones. There was one video put up about the whole of China on fire due to EVs being used all over China. Vehicle fires happen all the time, even with high-end cars like Lamborghinis and Ferraris. But to him, it seems it only happens in China, nowhere else.

There was another video put up about another pandemic in China with people unable to gain medical treatment at a certain hospital because of so many sick people already there, just by looking at the packed car park. That information came just by looking at satellite pictures without being ever being in China. The real reason was that there was a medical conference being held at the hospital and delegates from all over were taking up the parking spaces.

There was also one unbelievable fabrication put up about not having one sale to foreigners at the Yiwu International Trade Market, the largest wholesale market in China and the world. Really unbelievable!

There was also another video put up about no visitors present at a Chinese Technology Exhibition, with exhibitors sitting idle. Elsewhere on social media, others were posting videos of crowds galore. Those were people visiting the exhibition, not someone not being there but talking dick.

This is the same guy talking about China's tofu bridges, buildings and ports breaking up and collapsing. Infrastructures collapse everywhere around the world, not just in China. Buildings are also sinking in the USA, some leaning to compete against the leaning Tower of Pisa, some on seafront estate of California collapsing and being washed into the sea, and others on the Outer Banks off North Carolina being taken back by nature from erosion by massive waves. Years of selling discounted oil to the USA, up to US$20 a barrel, and suffering huge losses, has reaped no gratitude from the USA, with Trump gloating about Canada ripping the USA off. The same mantra about China ripping off the USA.

Trump does not even know that Bombardier, the Canadian Aircraft manufacturer is already manufacturing planes in USA and wants to bar it from selling planes inside the USA unless Bombardier moves to make its planes in the USA. Which is why building manufacturing in USA is so unenticing. This is not the way to attempt to lure manufacturing back to the USA. I am sure many countries are watching, particularly China.

Of course, TSMC, Samsung and others already have their testicles stuck in seaweed, having invested hundreds of billions in factories in Arizona. This is how the USA held them by the balls, like what it did to the Arabs in the Gulf.

Should China be thankful for the concern shown by Bessent and his G20 members and stop producing for the world? How then are the people of the poorer countries be able to buy cheap mobile phones, cheap electronic and consumer goods, cheap and very good EVs if China is not producing them?

Actually, Bessent is saying, America and Europe can no longer compete in producing goods and services in the same quality and price as China and will go bankrupt. They must stop China from being the factory of the world, so that the Americans and Europeans can start to produce expensive but less reliable products and dump to the rest of the world. So, is the USA going to ask Iran to return the malfunctioned submarine drone, the same way as asking Iran to return unexploded bombs? Perhaps Trump may order another extraction exercise as they did with the missing pilot. If lessons are not learnt, worth a try again. This is important military hardware, and the USA should be worried, very worried.

The USA has yet to invest big money in extracting that much oil and has hardly moved the needle yet in terms of investing. How long is that going to take? Building refineries is not a 4 to 5 days issue like using Lego Bricks. It takes years to just start training people and build back infrastructures. Reality does not happen just by twitting.

 Some ex-colonial countries are supporting their former Western colonial and imperial masters because they were maneuvered through a long term process of diabolical historical intrigue and plot to carry out the wish and instructions of their former masters even after given pseudo independence.

Before giving each colony independence the Western colonial and imperial powers like England, France, US, Spain, Portugal and Holland would do a very vile thing of  planting seeds of future dissensions and conflict among the ex-colonies. They woul for example arbitrarily cut off some land from colony A and incorporate it with colony B or colony C. Likewise they would cut off some land from colony B or C and incoporate it with A or D or colony E and so on. They purposely left some bones for future contention and conflict among the colonies before giving them independence. After independence the ex-colonies found out too late that part of their land was no more theirs. These ex-colonies began to quarrel and fight over the lost tracts of land. The ex-colonial masters would then come in to act as good people helping to settle their disputes. Of course the ex-colonial masters would benefit from these conflicts in stealthily getting control of the ex-colonies economy, trade and industries, finance, banking and monetary control. The silly ex-colonies end up happily not knowing that they are now reduced to economic, trade, financial and industrial fiefdoms control by the same former colonial masters. In short they do not seem to know that they are now under even more stifling colonial control albeit via multiple hybrid neo-colonial diabolical systems.  So they continue to support them. Stupidity really has no cure. Many African states fall into this category. Same goes with the Middle East Arab countries and that's the reason they are in trouble now.

In fact some ex-colonies benefited a lot territorially from their former colonial masters albeit at the expense of other native states. With British connivance India swallowed up former independent kingdoms of Sikkim, Kashmir, Ladakh, Nagaland, Assam Hills states and Nicobar Island Archipelago. Bhutan and Nepal would have been swallowed up by India had it not been for China standing behind them. Also India continue to hold on to the Chinese province of Tawang of Southern Tibet or Xi-Chang which was illegally occupied by British ruled India in 1914.  India has unashamely and wrongly inherited the mantle of British colonialism and imperialism.

Soekarno would not have been able to gain independence from the Dutch without the strong support and sacrifice of Russia, China and other Asian countries. In fact many Singapore and Malaysia Chinese took  the risk of running the gaunglet in smuggling arms to Soekarno to help him to drive out the Dutch. When eventually the Dutch were defeated they handed many territories under their control which were originally not part of Indonesia like Papua New Guinea, Sulawesi, Celebes and Dutch controlled Borneo or West Kalimantan.

Similarly Malaysia had a windfall when England handed Sarawak and Sabah or British Borneo to Malaysia. 

Thus because of the Western colonial powers manipulation in their favour India, Indonesia, Malaysia and some African and Middle East countries feel obliged to support the Western powers vis-a-vis their illogical disputes with Russia, Iran, China and so on.

Hopefully they will soon wake up to reality when they finally realise the Western white countries of Europe and the United States are inherently and inately evil to the core of wanting to permanently dominate the whole world under white men and Zionist Jew's rule and hegemony with the Anglo-Saxon United States of Zionist Jews control as its head.
