WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump said on Sunday (May 3) that the United States was conducting "very positive discussions" with Iran, as he outlined a plan for US forces to escort ships through the blocked Strait of Hormuz beginning Monday.

He said the new maritime operation, which he dubbed "Project Freedom," was a "humanitarian" gesture for crews aboard the many ships swept up in the blockade and which may be running low on food and other crucial supplies.

"We will use best efforts to get their Ships and Crews safely out of the Strait. In all cases, they said they will not be returning until the area becomes safe for navigation," Trump said in a lengthy post on his Truth Social platform. ...

Trump said "countries from all over the world" had requested American aid in navigating through the key waterway and out of the Gulf.

"For the good of Iran, the Middle East, and the United States, we have told these Countries that we will guide their Ships safely out of these restricted Waterways, so that they can freely and ably get on with their business," Trump said. CNA

Can anyone believe what this lunatic Trump just said above?  Why is there a need to escort and protect ships coming out from the Persian Gulf? Who is stopping the ships from coming out by blockading the Strait?  This is standard American sophistry, create a strawman as the threat and offer to protect against the threat from the strawman.

But not to worry, many gullible will come out in praise of lunatic Trump for such a brilliant idea. And they will thank Trump for bringing them out safely from the Persian Gulf, protected from being attacked by American pirates. Caveat, how much will American terrorists be charging for this great humanitarian service?

Iranians beware, American ships cannot get close to the Strait of Hormuz or inside the Persian Gulf even with the temporary truce. Would the Iranians be duped into letting the American terrorists and pirates to sail into the Persian Gulf on this silly excuse, to get near to Kharge Island or Iranians ports? For the moment, no American warship or warplanes and troops can get near to Iran to invade Iran...and Iran is safe....

China's AI war with the Americans is like selling Rolls Royce versus selling BYD, for the royalties versus for the masses

Now that the Chinese are advancing in chips technology after all the sanctions by the USA, the USA knows pursuing this agenda comes cannot defeat China over AI. So, the next attack has to be over something else, like AI theft in order for the tech war to be relevant.

China is not fighting the AI war over using the best high-end chips. China is building AI using a different architecture that relies less on chip power but on maximizing quantity over quality. China can make all the mid-range and legacy chips. Not that Chinese companies like Huawei and SMIC are incapable of advancing their chip technology despite the sanctions. It is only a question of time.

Even Jensen Huang said that the future of AI is not constrained by high-end chips, but on one thing that China has over the USA - cheap energy. This is one fundamental issue that the USA is finding it difficult to overcome, even when building all the massive data centers. The USA may have oil in abundance, but without the power generation logistics, it is the proverbial 'Sword of Damocles' hanging over the heads of data centers and AI centers.

But let us wait and see how the fantasy can overcome the reality in the technology war. The waiting may not be long you can be sure. Putting the cart before the horse does not augurs well, no matter how well intended the idea.

Decadent and corrupt western systems versus socialist systems

 The sickness of western models and systems have been degraded and corrupted over the centuries and exposing their decadent and ugliness today when there is no more free wealth to distribute around. During the days of empires and colonialism, it was a time of plenty, and they lived very well, exploiting the wealth of their colonies and the world and was able to look pretty and good.

When the free wealth is slipping away, the rots are showing, and the average people just cannot keep up with the high cost of living and a system that favours the rich and powerful with no compassion for the downtrodden. Make it or be left behind. The societies are run and measured by money and wealth. With wealth and power, life is beautiful and worthy of living. Without them, life is miserable and unworthy of living. 

The noble profession of medicine has been commercialised and monetised to the point that only the rich can have the best treatment and medicare. In America, without medical insurance, human lives were not much different from stray dogs and cats. The rich can have the best medical care, based on ability to pay.

Housing, a basic needs, is not the responsibility of the govt. This problem is compounded by inflation, high cost of living and a way of life that preferred to rent than buy. This rental society is a deadly trap. Other than the rich, the income of the average Joe will diminish or come to an end with the passing of time. On the other hand, housing will only cost more with inflation. The average guy without a home, will be facing incremental and exorbitant rental fees at the last phase of his life when he has little income or no income. Homelessness is a guarantee for the average Joe that lives from paycheck to paycheck and with no savings.

The pretentious justice system, when justice is meant to be fair, is no longer true. Justice or fairness can be bought. To win a court battle is not dependent on truth and facts, but on the craftiness of the legal counsel to twist the facts and arguments to one's favour. A criminal or wrongdoer can walk out free if he can pay for a good counsel. The victim, the wronged party, cannot afford to pay for his rights and justice will see injustice staring down at him.

In America, not only counsels can be bought, judges too can be bought, when the President can appoint judges that are friendly to him. Have money and power and there is no fear of the law, can even use the law to bully and threaten enemies. Trump has committed all kinds of crimes, mass murder and genocide etc, but is still strutting around and committing more evil crimes around the world and likely not be brought to face justice in court. 

In international courts like the ICC, the organisation is nothing different from a kangaroo court run by self appointed bandits when power and politics determined right or wrong. This is how shameful the ICC has become, a tool to political power and state terrorism. 

Compare these to the socialist systems in China when the interests of the average guy, the well being of the population is the key mission of the govt. The key priorities of the Chinese system is to provide the basic needs adequately to all its citizens. Housing, medical care, cost of living, transportation, education, food and clothing, are carefully managed to be within the reach of the average people. The govt is always there to mitigate and moderate the cost of living of the people, to redistribute wealth to reach the wider population. Eradication of poverty and illiteracy, feeding the people, affordable medical care without paying an arm or a leg, no need to pay for hefty insurance premium, are all in place when extreme poverty and deprivation no longer exist. The Chinese people, having gone through centuries of hunger and deprivation, are now the best fed, best clothed, best housed and with the best and affordable medicare system, and are the happiest people in the world today.

The Chinese people can aim for the stars, to be the best they can, even if they came from very average families. The barriers of wealth and power in the western system have been mitigated and removed to allow more freedom and mobility to upgrade and move up the social ladder to a better life. This is a new model of govt and society, with a balance of govt intervention and free enterprise working together to improve the lots of the population, a balance that is continuingly being adjusted, an unending process of trial and error, with one prime objective, the well being of the whole population and society.

The Communist Utopia may be an idealistic goal, difficult or impossible to achieve, but getting closer to this goal is always an improvement process for a more just and fairer society for the greater good of greater people, not for the better good of a few. The Chinese system is working and getting better. The western system is failing and rotting, albeit, still very good for the rich and powerful.

India's miracle GDP fell from 4th to 6th in the same year

India went really fast like a hypersonic missile to rank fourth in the GDP global rankings in 2025, but suddenly fell to sixth the same year, like a hot air balloon running a leak. India is gloating about its projected high GDP growth of 6.5%, well above China's 4.5% and the Indians are making a song and dance about it. Peel away the false fabric on the surface and many people have commented that India's growth is all centered on the connected Modi cronies like Adani Group and its stilted manufacturing sector, while the growth in the agricultural sector, the 40% contributor to India's GDP is still in the doldrums. Comparisons have been made in reports, and they are saying that the bottom feeders in India have living standards below those of sub-Saharan communities. That says a lot about India's boasts of being fourth or even the sixth largest economy in the world.

He passed an executive order to keep out Canadian crude and Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney, took up the challenge gleefully by selling his oil to Japan, South Korea, India and the European Union. China, by the way, is now the biggest oil market for Canada, so keep those executive orders coming Donnie.

In fact, Mark Carney was expecting this from Trump and had already done his homework earlier by signing contracts with those countries during his oversea visits. The most significant blessing in disguise was that Canada now sells oil at market prices when in the past it was selling them at a steep discount of around US$20 to US$25 a barrel to the USA. I must say this is a perfect case of Trump cutting his nose to spite his face. That Trump executive order is now a massive windfall for Canada, with multiple choices to sell its oil. Canada is now building pipelines East and West to export its oil, besides building refineries to process its own oil. Think about that.

Having said that, many USA oil refineries are now crippled from lack of Canadian heavy crude, and some are sitting idle without the feed. Pump prices in the USA are rising. Goods delivery costs are rising. Supermarket products are becoming more expensive. This has been compounded by the layoffs from big techs and things are not looking good for Trump in November, if he survives that long.

This pathetic scenario is happening in the United States because the US government has always been run by evil sadistic class of selfish self aggrandized elitist criminals, charlatans and riff rafts, many of which are satanic Zionist Jews. Their government rules under the Darwinism governance which claims no responsibility for the people's welfare and livelihood while at the same time exploit the people and the country to the fullest for their own selfish ends. So lucky, only 13 cases of TB in Bedok, in the eastern part if the island

 TB used to be a dreaded disease in the 50s and 60s of Singapore. The whole neighbourhood would be in an uproar when a case was found. Then it was eradicated by rising standard of medicare, hygiene and control. TB was a thing of the past. Now Singaporeans can have a taste of what TB is all about. The careful and sensitive Singaporeans may be perturbed by this disease and start to worry about people coughing around them, especially in the same confined of aircon offices or in classrooms, maybe childcare centres, or in trains or in taxis or Grabs.

The experts and authority have come out to assure the public that there is nothing much to worry about. TB is not like Covid, cannot be easily transmitted. Using same utensils or toilet bowls did not pose high risk of infection. It is transmitted through the air, vapour droplets when the infected coughed or sneezed. Wearing of masks if not comfortable, I think, should be good enough. I think only ah. I am no expert.

Singaporeans are so lucky. Singapore is in good hands and have been kept safe from TB for several decades by the old guards. The old guards got rid of TB and Singaporeans have lived the past decades completely oblivious of TB. Tb is making a comeback, but not to worry. The new guards have them under control. What is 13 cases? And TB is not that infectious. Also reported Malaysia has a few hundred cases.

Singapore is very safe and very hygienic and in good hands. Everything is under control. Trust me. Oh, need to be more careful in choice of my holiday destinations, and the confines of aircraft. Better be careful where you travel to, or you will have to answer 'Yes' in your immigration entry card. Dunno what will happen after that.

As most of the old obsolete myths fall, a new era will rise. The world will look at the USA in a different light.

The world had already been looking for alternatives to the US$ hegemony after seeing the evil designs that had arisen through the weaponization of the US$. That weaponization move, I think, kills all the appetite of continuing to worship the US$ hegemony. But for decades, the world could do nothing about it, as everything is still stuck in the deep-seated reliance on the US$ for the purchase of oil.

No one could come up with a viable alternative - not even Saddam Hussein who tried and wanted to do oil in Euros and had to be destroyed for floating a provocative idea in the minds of the USA. No country was strong enough to undertake another attempt to confront the US$ hegemony, and Saddam Hussein was to be the 'chicken killed to teach the monkeys'. Not until BRICS came quietly into the picture. Touted just an irritant and brushed aside.

BRICS was created to provide a viable alternative to the US$ hegemonic system. It was never meant to be an overnight mission to create a system that can rival the long-standing US$ hegemony, but one that does enough just by chipping away at the US$ foundation. Several global currencies were designated global reserve currencies before the US$, so do not assume that any change of status cannot come forth going forward.

The importance of oil catapulted the US$ to its prime, but that presumption could always change with renewables becoming mainstream and overtaking oil. Does that answer the question why Trump had always been against renewables undermining oil? Trump does not subscribe to climate change. His only preoccupation is 'drill baby drill'.

Trump can have all the oil for himself in time to come, just like having all the unprocessed rare earth dirt that he boasted about. Does the possession of so much rare earth dirt make any difference without to logistics to turn them into useful elements?

The new USA Fed chief wants to cancel USA's US39 trillion debts. I had to hit my forehead to make sure I am awake and not having a nightmare. Oh, not a nightmare for me actually, as I am not an investor in toilet papers.

How can a debt be cancelled just like that? Tell all the creditors that the USA is not going to repay all its debts and going to cancel it? That is defaulting, declaring bankrupt and committing daylight banditry. Now, I believe all creditors of USA, including foreign holders, will just say thank you. And they will continue to buy US$ treasuries and investments after the reset.

Wait a minute, about 70% of that US$39 trillion debts are held by the Fed, USA big banks, hedge funds, pension funds and ordinary USA citizens. Now, that makes it really interesting, and I am sure it is all for the good of the country. I am sure USA pensioners and citizens are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. Having said that, it means the US$ hegemony is gone the way of the dodo bird. And anything trotted out by the USA in future is no longer triple A stuff anymore, maybe just triple junk status, so who is going to buy them. And unlimited money printing is out of the question, as that printed money is as worthless as real toilet papers. At least toilet papers have its use, and an important use.

I am not an economist or expert, but if someone owes you money, you are damn sure going to make every effort to get your money back, not to talk about lending more money to that someone. Let us see if the USA financial wizards, or conmen, really have a way to wriggle its way out of the conundrum.

The world economies depend on the supply of oil, everything depends on oil flowing. The war is stopping the flow of oil to the countries that needed it. For a while, Iran still allowed oil to flow, not a complete shut down. Countries still find their ways to get their hands on the oil. But clown Trump said nothing of that, and imposed a blockade of the Hormuz to make the flow of oil to a complete stop.

This started a vicious cycle of paralysing the world economies. Countries like Japan and South Korea, India and also the European countries have the money to buy oil, but there is no oil for sale. The dollars circulating in the SWIFT winding down. This follows with the factories of these countries slowing production or suspending production, cutting down on purchases of raw material and no finished products for sale. The demand for dollars keeps withering away, slowing to a standstill. No revenue, no profit, no money for investment or gambling in Wall Street, no money to buy American bonds and debt. Japan is dumping billions of dollars in American bonds to prop up their ailing economy and the falling Yen.

The oil producing Arab and Muslim countries are also suffering. They cannot sell their oil. Their economies cannot function with all the bombings around them. No travelers, no tourists, life activities scaling down. No more dollars floating around, no more dollars to give to Trump and his Piss Board. Oil is about the most important item in world trade in American dollars. Without the dollar exchanging hands, it is as good as dedollarisation on a global scale among American allies and crony states. The more Trump tighten the noose around the Strait Hormuz, the more it will hurt all the American allies and cronies and the demand for the dollar, and of course the money to buy American bonds and debt and gambling in Wall Street. Not only no dollars flowing back into America, the Gulf states will be liquidating their American assets, selling stocks and bonds for much needed liquidity in their chaotic economies. The economy of every Arab and Muslim state in the Gulf region is in a limbo. So is the economy of Israel where every social and economic activity has been halted or disrupted. How long can Israel continue to stay in this mess? How long can the patience of the Israeli population holds before it explodes into the street? The peace and stability and comfort of life in Israel is now a living nightmare 24/7. The buoyant and joyful voices of Israeli young and children are now the same as the sound of Palestinian children in Gaza...muted and grim with fear. I am sure that Iran knows where those aircraft carriers are located, with Russian and Chinese intelligence giving a hand. When things start to get hot, those three aircraft carriers will be the prime targets to take out immediately. It does not take a military genius to know what the Iranian priorities should be. After all, the Iranians are no country bumpkins, having already shown their prowess since the war began. Iranian strategy of asymmetrical warfare against brute force has delivered the goods by taking out important military targets first and foremost. The USA support bases in the Middle East are gone and non-operational and countries around are wary of supporting the USA in its attack. Diego Garcia is the only alternative, and the Iranians have already shown that they have the means to level it like those bases in the Gulf countries.

Trump is going to face Vietnam version 2, as many have already warned if he puts boot on the ground. But heroic Trump, the stable military genius, said that he is not worried about that, so let us see what happens. Even if Iran suffers an initial setback under intense USA carpet bombing, that is if the aircraft carriers dared to move closer to shore, the war is still not lost for the Iranians. Carpet bombing creates an illusionary initial advantage, but the real war comes after that as in Vietnam. While Vietnam's guerilla warfare was fought in jungles, Iran's version is over mountainous terrains. 70,000 USA troops against a million Iranian militia over a country as big as Iran is sending sheep to the slaughterhouse. The USA does not celebrate Hari Raya anyway, but the Iranians do and should welcome the delivery of sheep for the celebration.

Trump tried to play a psychological game by calling off his negotiators after the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi landed in Pakistan briefly before flying to meet Putin in Moscow. I think this is not a visit for tea with Putin. It is also a psychological move to keep Trump guessing. Both sides can play for same game.

The biggest joke I woke up this morning must be watching Satan Netanyahu gloating about 'no place for violence' when commenting on the shooting at the White House press dinner. Lebanon is the next Gaza

 In a way, Lebanon is very similar to Gaza in geography, except slightly bigger. To cut up Lebanon and be destroyed like Gaza is a piece of cake. The formula was put into practice in Gaza and very successful, with the whole world turning away, not wanting to know about it. Gaza is finished. The remaining work to be done is to get rid of the surviving Palestinians by all means. They will not be allowed to return to Gaza and no one cares a hoot about what is happening to them. Such horrible destruction of two million Palestinians did not attract the attention of any decent leaders other than passing remarks. The whole world has accepted the fate of the Palestinians. The American and Israeli terrorists have moved on with Lebanon to be bombed and flattened like Gaza. And the story will be repeated with no resistance to save Lebanon and the Lebanese. The American and Israeli terrorists are on a rampage to take over the whole of the Middle East. And the Arabs and Muslims are not bothered by it. The World's biggest terrorist is also trying to resurrect terrorism into a global phenomenon with its unprovoked attacks on countries it does not see eye to eye. What has Iran done to provoke the USA to carry out such heinous atrocity? My guess is it has nothing to do with nukes and everything to do with oil, as in Venezuela. Controlling global oil will stifle China's growth, which is the ultimate objective. But it is too little and too late, as China has already built in and insulated itself into a fail-safe economy beyond what appears on the surface. Sure, there will be minor interruptions, but oil is just a small part of the vulnerability of China's energy structure. China still has mountains of coal and will cope even if the shit hits the fan in a worst-case scenario. China will not collapse and will grow stronger in resilience with the experience. More hard earned SIA money into a bottomless dark pit

Tata Group is Air India’s biggest shareholder with 74.9 per cent, while SIA holds the remaining 25.1 per cent stake, after the Indian flag carrier merged with the SIA co-owned Vistara in 2024.

This is another lie. The American and Israeli terrorists did not respect any ceasefire and will attack anytime they choose. Also, the ceasefire is only meant for the Iranians not to fire at American warships attacking Iranian and foreign ships transiting the Hormuz. A ceasefire is just a delay tactic, a lie. More and more weapons and troops are being sent to the region for D Day to wipe out the Iranians and the Arabs and Muslims as collateral damages. The alternative system will cripple the American dollar and military hegemony

Most smaller countries have no choice under USA's veiled threat. When the USA says, you are either with us or against us, what choice do small countries have?

But the obvious choice is getting murkier over time and getting away from the threat looks clearer with BRICS providing the alternative. Under Russia and China's protective umbrella in BRICS, both militarily and economically, unfolding events are undoubtedly changing the game. Russia is militarily about on par with the USA in terms of nuke capability. China underwrites the economic facade of BRICS, with the Chinese Yuan playing its part and providing the stability. BRICS is not formed for harvesting immediate results. It is for a longer-term objective of weaning countries away from using the US$. Rome was not built in a day, but the Roman Empire rose and flourish over time.

Decades ago, most countries faced the cardinal truth that the USA was their most important market for their exports. They provided the blood and sweat to produce the real goods in exchange for toilet paper printed out of thin air.

The strong USA military is the result of the US$ hegemony which must continue to function to provide the USA the ability to maintain such a widespread force globally. The US$ hegemony's continued existence is needed to maintain the USA military, while the USA military exists to protect the US$ hegemony. If the US$ hegemony fails, everything goes down like a house of cards, just like the British without the privilege of unlimited money printing powers then. First myth is that expensive weapons will always win no matter what happens has now been torn to pieces by Iran, a precedent that China will undoubtedly take good note. Iran has proven that cheap drones and missiles can also do a good job against top end weaponry. One interceptor cost five times or more to take down one cheap Iranian drone. And it is honestly highly optimistic to suggest that only one interceptor will be fired to take down one incoming drone. For the same price, Iran can fire five or more drones, which will in turn specify that the USA needs to fire five interceptors to take them down. Calculate the math.

Second myth is that aircraft carriers will always be used to project power has been proven and obsolete idea by Iran using cheap hypersonic missiles and drones, so much so that aircraft carriers have now turned into sitting ducks, having to stay far offshore carrying fighter jets that are now unable to take advantage of close to shore take off and return. In other words, the projection of power advantage delegated to aircraft carriers is no longer achievable and could be lost for good. More so, when the reach of hypersonic drones and missiles keep increasing. The USA was reported to have predicted that Iranian hypersonic missiles were not capable of going for targets more than two thousand kilometers away. The shock came when Iran showed its threat by firing two missiles at Diego Garcia, four thousand kilometers away. So much for the much-touted USA intelligence.

The third myth being broken to pieces is that blockading the Straits of Hormuz is going to strangle China over Persian Gulf oil. Iranian oil can still enter China by rail, still paid in Yuan, while Russia has assured China of taking up the slack. Meanwhile China is going all out by leveraging on renewable energy and building Thorium nuclear plants to provide unlimited nuclear energy on top of hydropower, wind and solar energy. Oil imports will slowly not figure most prominently in China's manufacturing sector in time to come. So, what will become of those choke points that can no longer be instrumental in choking China? Who else is the USA going to choke.

Many countries are also migrating to renewable energy in the face of the Middle East turmoil. For example, Pakistan has already been following the Chinese by harvesting hydropower with huge dams and solar farms. More countries will realize that depending on oil alone is disastrous as global oil reserves are limited and turning to renewables is the answer for the future.

Now, here again one country is going to laugh all the way to the bank. Chinese wind turbines, solar panels, EVs and even Thorium nuclear power plants for export are planned, all of which China is already dominating globally and will be sought after in years to come. Which other country has the capacity to supply all the equipment demanded at scale?

All the showboating about the USA having so much oil is perhaps just a short-term feel-good moment, when the rest of the world start migrating to renewables, while Trump keeps demonizing wind turbines for killing birds and Chinese solar panels spying on citizens and all the hubris. Oh, maybe Trump will threaten them with high tariffs if they turn to clean energy, lol.

USA still needs to import 30 to 35% of its oil needs. The USA cannot use all the oil that it produces as its own refineries are not built to process those lighter crude. The lighter crude may be sold to refineries outside USA that are able to process them elsewhere. So, what affects most countries around the world, also does affect the USA as well if the Strait of Hormuz remain closed. The fact that USA pump prices are now reaching for unscalable heights shows the reality of what I am saying. So much oil and yet cannot keep pump prices down does prove a thing or two.

Operation Kill Iranians - 3 aircraft carrier strike groups and more than 70,000 troops

Do take lunatic Trump seriously when he said he is going to wipe out the Iranians. This is not a joke. Lunatic Trump meant what he said. For the moment, lunatic Trump has been checked. He asked for the nuclear codes. If a nuclear threat is just for negotiation, there is no need to ask for the codes. The codes will give him access and the ability to press the nuclear button. To this lunatic, what is nuking Iran and killing a few Iranians? Gen Dan Caine, Chairman of Joint Chief of General Staff blocked Trump from access to the nuclear codes. How long will he stay on the job and his replacement would definitely be picked by Trump and do his bidding. This is a very dangerous situation facing Iran and the world. If this mad man can nuke Iran, he can nuke anyone. Period.

Operation Kill Iranians is temporarily on hold and will continue once the Trump has his forces in place. The extension of the ceasefire is not for anything good, but giving the American terrorists more time to deploy all the weapons and attack forces. Many aircraft, including the out of action F18s have not been flown to UAE to within striking distance of Iran. The F18s have been out of action as the aircraft carriers had been forced to flee to a safe distance from Iran. Now they can only fly from land bases near Iran. And the ceasefire is exactly for this purpose.

Iran must deploy and target the UAE bases with hypersonic missiles and fingers on the button the moment ceasefire expires. Better to be on the button now as the treacherous and cheating Americans will likely to strike before the ceasefire ends, the moment they are ready to hit Iran. They had done this twice during a ceasefire negotiation.

The next phase of attack against Iran is going to be harder. Hopefully Iran also make use of this ceasefire to restock with more hypersonic missiles to wipe out everything the American terrorists have laid before them. 70,000 American boys and girls will present enough targets for the Iranians, and the aircraft in nearby airbases. Would the American terrorists dare to sail their warships near to the Persian Gulf for target practice by the Iranians?

Just the high-speed rail experience in China is enough to floor visitors, with high-speed rail stations overshadowing airports in their own country. Do they think those are a joke?

And the low cost of living is another shocking experience that foreign travelers have noticed while in China. The food available at supermarkets are cheap, eating out is cheap, transportation is cheap and above all homes, rental flats and hotels are cheap as well. Medical treatment in China is also cheaper and more efficient. For comparison of cost, each Chinese ambulance costs about US$60,000 each fully equipped and delivered in weeks. An ambulance made in USA cost about US$500,000 and takes three years to deliver. That is the extent of the greed inside a democracy that works for the top 1% to make more money at the expense of the bottom feeders. Do USA voters realized that they have landed on the wrong side of the bargain, paying for essential things that should be heavily subsidized. What has USA voters benefitted from having a right to vote but ended up being more heavily squeezed each time.

China's real economic growth versus American's money printing growth and Ponzi scheme in Wall Street

25 years of the collapse of China has not come to fruition. This must be the mother of all failed propaganda ever trotted out by the West. I guess, this mantra will be repeated for another 25 years to come. I do not think Gordon Chang will still be around to witness the collapse of China, or the rise of China to be the biggest economy of the world.

Never mind that China's GDP growth is now around 4.5% or whatever, but it is still double what the USA has achieved over the years. Real growth supported by real manufacturing and real exports resulting in ever growing surpluses does not lie. On the other hand, growth through money printing is hiding a very unpalatable truth pertaining to more money being used for round-tripping investments in order to give the impression of growth. A Ponzi scheme never ends well.

Countries are wising up realizing that the Ponzi scheme is going to unravel sooner or later. Treasury interest rates are pushed higher and higher, yet few takers are being enticed. The fall of the US$ does not compensate even with the increase in interest rates and the inherent risk of holding such investments. Coupled with the risk of seizures like the Russian assets, lessons are being learnt. Investments in gold and silver rather than treasuries are now more beneficial without the inherent risk. It is better to be safe than be sorry like the Russians and Iranians.

The US military doesn’t have a technology problem – it has a bureaucracy problem, says a former US Air Force officer.

OXFORD, Mississippi: It may sound hard to believe, but the almost trillion-dollar US military is struggling to fight cheap drones in its war with Iran.

Iran has built a simple drone, the Shahed, with a motorcycle-type engine, loaded it with explosives and successfully targeted its neighbours’ cities and power plants....

The drones cost between US$20,000 and US$50,000 to build. In response, the US military sometimes fires missiles worth more than US$1 million to shoot one down.

As a former US Air Force officer and now national security scholar, I believe that math is a problem: The US military for now has a US$1 million answer to a US$20,000 question. This American national security scholar sees an American problem and explained it away with his own interpretation and understanding of the problem. The Americans cannot solve the problem because of bureaucracy, procedures and lengthy processes. Just follow up with all the hypes and fictitious performance statistics to fool and confuse the daft senators and congressmen and women that they are paying for the best. And they needed all the best weapons systems to fight and subdue goat herdsmen in Afghanistan. No one wants to know the math on the cost effectiveness. And of course, the stars in Pentagon will be fully behind the MIC to demand for more expensive weapons systems. They all have vested interests to have the best and most expensive weapons. No need to explain why. 

And more wars are needed to keep the MIC fat. More expensive weapons must be used and dropped even on speedboats in the Caribbeans. Get the picture? The whole defence industry and the American armed forces is a scam. It is a money making machine. War is not about defence but about business, making money. No country is a threat to America. No country can threaten America. It is the American terrorists that are fabricating threats to start wars, to attack small little countries, to expend their expensive weapons that need to be replaced by more orders for the MIC.

The stars in the Pentagon cannot be that stupid not to know that using a $10m missiles to shoot at hot air balloon is silly. You don't need to know math to understand this. But they did it, not with one missile but several missiles. Follow the money trail.

For decades, the American were strutting around the world threatening the world with 11 carrier strike groups when not a single country can threaten America. Why need 11 carrier strike groups with hundreds of aircraft that cost tens of millions each? And an aircraft carrier needs to be protected with escort ships, destroyers, submarines, logistic support ships, etc etc, when the enemy countries did not have a single aircraft carrier, warship or aircraft that can match the Americans.

It is all about money for the MIC and you know who. This is the real reason. Some may believe in the American lies, raising scarecrows as targets to be conveniently shot down and be very happy with it. America will not build cheap weapons. Period. It must be expensive then it can be called good, just like university education. You want good education, you must pay dearly. The best talents coming to Singapore came from third world unknown village universities, cheap and good.

This myth was 'pitcha' by Pakistan using cheap Chinese J10Cs and cheap Chinese PL15 missiles to bring down expensive Rafales that cost 4 or 5 times a J10C. Expensive is not necessarily good. Expensive is good for someone's pocket, for some people to get rich.

For a start, stop the incestuous relationship between Pentagon and the MIC to end the rot.

The deep-seated propaganda that China is behind the USA in everything is becoming a myth rather than a reality. The West can keep repeating the mantra that everything Chinese is inferior, junks, a joke and that China is copying everything from the USA and the West and therefore can never overtake the West.

The fact that China was able to have its own space station despite being forbidden to set foot on the International Space Station was a satisfying answer by China to the West that not everything China does needs to be dependent on Western technology. In fact, the International Space Station is largely a Soviet space project with participation by the USA. It was the USA that was instrumental in getting rid of the Chinese participation program on board the ISS. Where the USA is involved, it means trouble for China and nothing else.

The USA can never live with the fact that China can be a competitive entity in anything that the USA does. When Huawei was building its communication domination around the world, the USA and its allies like Ericson and Nokia realized Huawei was eating their breakfast, lunch and dinner and that resulted in the crippling of Huawei. Now, USA's 5G networks are still a joke and contenders still have to pay copyrights using Huawei's patents. Some allies that jumped on the anti-Huawei bandwagon have paid heavy prices just tearing down the infrastructures built by Huawei. What does not kill Huawei has made Huawei even stronger. It hurts for sure that Huawei did not collapse.

BRICS de-dollarization program has been brushed aside many a time as just an irritant and could never move forward against the mighty US$. Why is Trump making threats against countries joining BRICS or should I say joining the de-dollarization move? If it is harmless, just let it fail. The fact is China does not invest in something of this magnitude to fail. It is a long-term strategy that China is famous for. The results may not be apparent on the surface, but the foundation and motive is getting stronger and more targeted and Trump knows it.

What can we surmise from Russia and Iran selling oil in Yuan? Both are BRICS members, oil exporters and have a big say in the oil trade. Do not underestimate what they are doing by undertaking de-dollarization moves that should worry the USA.

Sign more comprehensive defense agreement with the Americans...Stupidity cannot be cured

It seems that what happened in the Middle East has not registered in the minds of those still seeking to sign comprehensive defense agreements with the USA.

The Gulf countries have entered into such comprehensive defense agreements with the USA, but were they able to defend themselves against Iran? The facts speak for themselves, although the rhetorics are still stuck in fantasy mode, and have not caught up with reality. If that is the case, it is still true that stupidity has no cure.

The signing of comprehensive defense agreements are all to protect the interest of the USA, not the other way round. Just look at NATO Europe now realizing that it is better to have their own collective defense strategy rather than rely on the USA. What is the point when Trump still retains his mindset about taking over Greenland, a country related to NATO Denmark. This is realistically one NATO country trying to invade another, when article 5 of NATO already said that an attack on one country in NATO is an attack on all. That would render article 5 completely screwed when it does not cover one NATO country invading another in NATO. In any case, the Anglo-Saxon cliques are great in setting time bombs that they can capitalize on when the time comes.

Do no evil and there is no fear of visitors at night

A USA General has come out to claim that the USA did not move THAAD missiles from South Korea to the Middle East. Earlier there were many reports of THAAD redeployment to the Middle East. I guess it depends on how we interpret the move - redeployment does not mean moved.

Why is it suddenly necessary to deny such THAAD movement? Is there going to be a change in the South China Sea problem that needed to resort to such propaganda to remind China that such THAAD weapons are still in South Korea, knowing that Japan is upping provocation against China, while China had closed its airspace around its offshore regions for 40 days until May 5th.

China could take out such THAAD batteries in South Korea easily, so what is the point of talking cock and singing songs.

With the advancement of AI, and the capacity to store unlimited information, law cases, judgements and precedents, no human lawyer can compete with that, machine is the next thing to replace lawyers in litigation. Not only that, machine can also replace the judges in listening to complex cases or sensitive cases. Rapists have no fear of the likes of Justice Choor Singh in the past. The judiciary will be completely free from human bias and differential access. No one can accuse the court of being biased, favouritism.

This is going to be the future of the Judicial System. Why not, when it has all the advantages that humans cannot provide, clean and fair, justice will not only be done, but be seen to be done fairly and justly. No need to know who is your lawyer, who is the judge, who is the other party, no need to fear the rich and powerful. Only bad news, no need law schools, no need lawyers and judges, only administrative staff to make sure the system is switched on and off when needed will do. Oops, more unemployment as jobs are taken over by machine. But no need to pay an arm or a leg to star lawyers. The cost of litigation will be greatly reduced to the price of electricity and machine time.

A judiciary system run by AI machines will be most suitable for countries that want a cold, steely and efficient system that treats its offenders as objects, not human beans. All judgements would be clean and clinical, devoid of human feelings and encumbrances. The social scientists would argue for human judges to temper the harshness. in a sense cruel, and lack of human sensitivities of machines. It can be a terrifying world when AI machines decide the fate of offenders that are warm blooded humans, not senseless objects.

AI machines are productivity, efficiency and neutrality all rolled into one if wisely applied by warm blooded human beans, caring humans with a heart. The future is going to be very bright. And yes, no privacy issues. The machine will not know who is who or want to know who is who, unless they are programmed to do so.
