 Is the Shangri La Dialogue meant to be a serious forum to discuss serious international or at least regional security and defence issues? For a start, having a TV host with practically no experience in defence and security matters with only being a drunkard to boot, to lecture senior govt and military leaders is quite inappropriate. What can this drunkard mad dog contribute or share with the govt and military leaders that have many years of experience in security and defence?  Maybe drunken brawls in bars....

It is quite an insult for senior govt and military leaders to have to listen to the swearing and chest thumping of a greenhorn. Luckily for China not to send its Defence Minister to sit there listening to this twit. The only worthy credential of this drunkard is his title as War Secretary of the number one terrorist state, not much different from lunatic Trump, a liar, felon, mass murderer, pedophile and a good client of Epstein and facing charges for offences against minor girls. And national leaders also have to bear with this lunatic because he carries the title of POTUS.

The other glaring misgiving about the Dialogue is to pretend not to see the elephant in the room. What national security and defence issue can be more important than the genocide in Gaza and Lebanon, the Killing of Iranians and the closing of the Strait of Hormuz? Apparently the American terrorists, the number one threat to peace and security, will not want to talk about their aggression, war crimes and genocide in the Middle East. And No one seems to dare to ask the American terrorists about their unprovoked wars and the killings of innocent civilians, including 168 school girls, and the irresponsible killing of boaters in the Caribbean. No one dares to ask the American terrorists to stop the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and daylight piracy in the Indian Ocean. No one dares to ask the American terrorists or the drunkard War Secretary for bombing and killing Iranian sailors returning from a multi nation exercise in India.

And the agenda of the Dialogue conveniently avoided discussing about the disgraceful behaviours of the American terrorists and crimes against humanity but instead raising China as the threat for building up its defences against the American terrorists. And allowing the American terrorists to preach about peace and security and the American terrorists are the peace keeper, the guardians of the world while China, a peaceful nation is the threat to the world. Listening to such lies is more ridiculous than for senior govt and military leaders to sit there like little boys and girls to listen to a drunkard TV host.

When India keeps fouling up business deals and confiscating profits made by companies in India in the form of fines and taxes, who is going to believe Modi. Modi can talk until the cows come home, but nobody in his right mind will take the bait. Modi may be able to fool the Hindu fanatics at home with his cult culture, but that will never work outside India. That stage is over and gone. There is too much bad publicity about Indian tactics, which is why thousands of foreign companies have fled India, taking out hundreds of billions in investments.

Apple is facing a potential fine of US$38 billion in India, probably all the profits it ever made in India, over allegations of abusing its market dominance in the iPhone apps market. Tim Cook is going to be really cooked now, after placing so much emphasis on India being gloated as a new base being built up in the hope of taking the bulk of iPhone production from China. Let us watch the show, but Cook may not be around to take the shame.

Oh, lest I forget, Elon Musk is also not investing in a Tesla factory in India after years of speculation. Elon has seen enough of Indian tactics to risk diving into India. No sane business leaders will now even consider setting foot in India, the graveyard of companies.

Now. let us see whether Canada can be any different. Even if Mark Carney gets the magic hug from Modi, businesspeople in Canada will not necessarily take the plunge, as their pants are on the line.

With the antics Trump is pulling against Iran, setting ultimatums and now saying he is in no hurry to forge a deal with Iran, is, I believe all just a front to buy time for the USA and Israel to rearm and regroup, while conducting sporadic attacks to show they still have weapons to carry out such attacks and to show Iran they still hold the upper hand while still conducting the negotiations. Let us see whether Iran takes the bait.

The Gulf States are on the way with plans to form its own defense co-operation instead of relying on the USA, which did not do its work of protecting them from Iran. This war against Iran is not the only USA failure of sorts. When Saudi Arabia was at war with Yemen, its oil installations were hit by crude Houthi rockets despite relying on highly expensive USA interceptors. After that, there were reports that Saudi Arabia had bought some Russian air defense interceptors instead to boost its defense capabilities.

Trump is now threatening to blow up Oman; I suppose again to the stone age like every other country that Trump cannot agree with, if it carries out its plan to side with Iran and together going to control the Strait of Hormuz. This shows that the Gulf States are no longer united with the USA's agenda.

Elsewhere, the USA is losing allies, with Norway, the ninth country moving away from the USA nuclear umbrella and joining France's nuclear umbrella instead, closing ranks with NATO Europe. The big tree heading NATO is falling and the monkeys are scattering. This is a clear indication that the USA is being isolated. Putin and Xi must be laughing. After all, Russia was the butt of jokes over total isolation at the start of the Ukraine War, but the reality says otherwise. Oh yes, he who laughs last laughs best.

Shangri La Dialogue - China should not lend it credibility

  What kind of God is your God? Many become believers because they have found a kind and loving God, all caring, all forgiving and love his creation regardless of creed or race. The West is very adept in creating small innocuous doubts just to split up Russia and China's relationship. A perfect example is speculating on Putin's health, indicating that his demise will uncouple Russia's relations with China. When I read the clickbait of Youtube videos, beginning with the words 'Is China able' or 'Can China this and that', I avoid clicking on such sites altogether. Such postings with such headings already put a clear message of its anti-China motivation straight on its face. It already put watchers into a negative state of mind concerning its message talking about China. Subtle but very effective way of brainwashing.

With AI, I think the problem is going to get much worse than getting better. AI favors those that needs to propagate en masse, and none can do it better just using AI. Even the Pope is now perceptively alarmed at the mushy and wishy-washy stuff trotted out by AI at this early juncture. More like a rubbish bin collecting rubbish and dispensing a rubbish dish in return. When used considerately and responsibly, AI is great. I just could not help raising a chuckle, reading Channel News America's headline that the USA just did a 'defensive attack' against Iran. What is actually a 'defensive attack' I find it difficult to comprehend. Call it a fear of being attacked by those Iranian shore missiles would be more appropriate instead of beating around the bush. Why need to fear if the USA did not try to play the gatekeeper and policemen around the Strait of Hormuz? Is that another alternative invention of the USA to cover its provocative war mongering agenda? Is it another attempt to put pressure on Iran to soften its demands. No deal is possible with Netanyahu dead set on getting its hands on Iran's enriched Uranium via the USA. I cannot really tell how the negotiation is heading as no clear indication seems to come out. One day the gloat is that a deal is close at hand and the next day, it is far apart. Which is which?

The USA's presence around the Strait of Hormuz and blockading shipping is already a massive provocation. Do the Iranians not have a right to defend itself? Oops, in all that I have read on MSM of the West, and the hubris trotted out by Western leaders, only Israel has the right to defend itself. By attacking others, of course, just like the USA. When Chinese military naval vessels sailed past any Island in the South China Sea, the USA poodles would, eyes popping out, shout provocation. Among the many nuclear power countries, which of them had ever dropped a nuke on another country? Not just one, but two. And there were indications that the USA had even considered dropping nukes on China on many occasions. This is all true. The USA had even goaded the French to drop a nuke on the North Vietnamese during the war at Dien Bien Phu in Indochina. That is how dangerous and irresponsible the USA had been after being a nuclear power. And yet, Trump had the audacity to tell the world that allowing Kim Jong Un to retain his paltry number of nukes is a threat to the rest of the world. Imagine the horseshit!

Renewable energy is the next big Industrial Revolution

The amount of renewable energy that can be harvested cannot be underestimated. Humans have just managed to touch the tip of the iceberg regarding improving the technology to take renewables really seriously. But it is exponentially being explored particularly by China.

This is the natural progression of how humans have evolved from first discovering eating meat cooked by a forest fire and comparing with raw meat. Then fire became the path for use in cooking. It morphed into coal for feeding furnaces to generate steam to move trains. Then comes the internal combustion engine and airplanes that needed fossil fuel and that started the massive oil exploration movement. Renewables will be the next evolution for energy generation.

The early bird catches the worm, while those still intent on getting stuck on fossil fuel will be left standing while others move forward. The Iran War and the energy crisis is going to change mindsets regarding renewable energy. Make no mistake by pretending that renewable energy is all hype and no substance. Those that have invested huge fortunes in fossil fuel will not bend so easily, so let them be.

Still want to visit India?

When I watch videos made by foreigners travelling around India, I really cannot fathom how or what to say about the country. It is a disaster of epic proportions - the infrastructures, the dirtiness and pollution, the lack of caring for the environment, the broken transport system, the dilapidated trains and the endemic corruption above all.
Youtuber, Mr. Bald and Bankrupt, had this to say of Indian toilets - never look at toilets in the eye on trains in India as it will make one throw up. It was that bad. On one trip in one crowded train, Mr. Bald and Bankrupt had to stand right in front of the toilet with his friend, and that friend literally threw up from the smell.

There was another video by another Youtuber, 'Girl in Paradise', titled 'In Delhi, India, I found the dirtiest and smelliest place in India, worst place I have ever seen'. Watching that video, I could almost smell the stink watching a fish market with fish lying on the ground in piles, without refrigeration and without ice, fish obviously rotting under such hot and humid climate in India, the stink must be overpowering. And this open-air fish market was just next to a garbage dump in Delhi, so figure it out.

India is an impossibility to be able to return to normalcy and just festering in the rot. The problems are so widespread, so totally out of proportion, it boggles the mind. How to solve all the problem is beyond human ability. And yet the Indians love to compare with China, lol.

So, in a country like India, how could India Airlines be expected to be normal when everything has broken down. India is getting worse by the day, without any semblance or even a hint of being able to get better at all.

Singapore China call for ceasefire a bad idea

 Superficially, a ceasefire is good as it will stop the fighting immediately. Strategically and in the face of an existential threat from the American and Israeli terrorists, a ceasefire is a death trap for Iran, giving the American and Israelis a convenient excuse to terminate the Iranians at a time of their own choosing. A ceasefire is not an end to a war, it is only a temporary truce and both sides can start to shoot each other again. In the case of Operation Kill Iranians, it is the American and Israeli terrorists that wanted to kill Iranians and destroy Iran. Iran has no intention to want to attack and bomb Israel or the USA. Therefore, a ceasefire will allow the American and Israeli terrorists not only to stock up all their weapons and plan for the next attack. It is an unholy advantage offered by Iran to their killers.

A ceasefire means that the American and Israeli terrorists can move all their weapons to the border of Iran, can fly their warplanes and sail their warships to the border of Iran, fully loaded with the deadliest weapons and can fire at short distance from Iran, giving the Iranians no chance to defend or take down the missiles or bombs. Without the ceasefire, the American aircraft carriers, warships and warplanes have to stay far away from Iranian border. A ceasefire allows the American and Israeli terrorists to move back to their military bases in the neighbourhood of Iran. A ceasefire is as good as Iran tying its own hands and legs while the American and Israeli terrorists regroup around Iran to deal a final blow to Iran. A ceasefire is good for the aggressors that want to wipe out the other party.

What Iran should negotiate for is a complete withdrawal of all hostile forces and weapons from the region. No American bases, no American warship and warplane to be close to the Iranian shores. Iran should negotiate for permanent peace with complete withdrawal of American forces from the region.

Calling for a ceasefire in the Iran case is a fool's idea of peace and safety but in actuality is a very stupid and dangerous option for Iran. The American and Israeli terrorists would love the idea of a ceasefire with the American forces remaining in the region, with American and Israel warplanes and warships flying and sailing near Iran, and ready for the kill.

Why would China agree to such a stupid and dangerous call that would compromise the safety and security of Iran, as good as Iran lying down with its legs wide open, and hands tied behind its back.

PS. The American terrorists just attacked Iran again when the ceasefire is in force. And again the Iranians were caught with their pants down. Many Iranians were killed again. The Americans have fired almost everything they have at Iran, but all landed in the mountains in Iran, unable to scratch anything below the mountains where all the Iranian weapons and firepower are and where all the Iranian forces are. The Americans are desperately trying to replenish and restock their weapons, but this is not easy as the supply chain and manufacturing processes take time, not in days, not in months, but in years. 

The Americans know they cannot win this war. They can simply stop this war by withdrawing their weapons and forces. It is so easy. But no, the Americans cannot do this as it would be an admission of defeat. They are now pretending that some third parties should come in to help to stop this war. And China is their chosen target. China must help to stop this war, to open the Strait of Hormuz. China is now responsible for stopping this war started by the American and Israeli terrorists. What the USA does not even realize is that China is already deep into decoupling from the USA. China is selling less and less to the USA, and more and more to the Global South countries. In tandem with that, China is buying fewer goods from the USA, due to sanctions imposed by the USA. In fact, China has stopped buying USA treasuries and is ditching chips even from Nvidia.

More than that, which many probably may not have realized yet, China is building a future that relies less on fossil fuel and eventually dispelling the fear of blockade of energy to destroy China's manufacturing economy, that the USA had been putting in place for decades. We probably have not yet fathom how determined the Chinese are in migrating to renewables. China had already turned to electrification of its transportation system, with high-speed rails, adoption of EVs and phasing out Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) vehicles, the one big sector guzzling on fossil fuel. China is killing two birds with one stone - weaning the Chinese population away from fossil fuel and cutting down on air pollution resulting from the exhausts of ICE vehicles.

I do not have to talk about China's renewable energy generation from its expanding solar panel fields and wind turbines. Suffice to say that China is also killing two birds with one stone, rearing cattle feeding on grass under solar panel fields. There is practically no need to mow the grass under those solar panel fields, as the sheep and cows are doing the necessary. Think of the ingenuity.

What I need to talk about is China now making small nuclear power generators that are coming on-line to power smaller cities. China is also thinking of exporting them to countries that relies mostly on fossil fuel. Think of the consequence for those trying to use fossil fuel weaponization next by attempting to take control of all the oil production countries globally.

Sure, all these takes time, but China has all the time. The Chinese are masters of patience, as one Indian political commentator said.

 Why the Indians have no problems with a runaway population growth and pervasive unemployment? India is actually very happy to have the largest population in the world to boot and is encouraging more population growth as its strategy is to conquer, colonise and rule the world as the next super colonial power. India is planning to take over the whole world, starting with the 5 'I' countries, ie US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. India does not have to create jobs for its unemployed. Xi gives Putin a luxurious red carpet stair to descend from his aircraft

The media is now comparing the differences over how Xi treated Trump and how he treated Putin during their visit. One media video post even highlighted the red carpet on the towable aircraft passenger stairs used to welcome Putin descending from his plane and the non-red-carpet stairs used by Trump.

What does the West expect, when Trump is perceived as a visiting troublemaker, while the other is an ally visiting to consolidate their alliance. Common sense will tell us what to expect. The Chinese are not as blunt as the Whites but always show their displeasure without being too apparent and undiplomatic.

There is another take on the visit to a garden in Zhongnanhai that Xi took Trump to. Xi showed Trump a very old tree, a several centuries old tree. The hidden message to Trump, according to one comment, was that Xi was discreetly trying to tell Trump that China has existed well over five thousand years, while the USA is a sapling by comparison. I do not think Trump got the hidden message anyway talking about ancient trees. He is more interested in those children welcoming him at the airport, even talking and praising them at the banquet. Time for China to stop the Americans from stealing and copying Chinese technology

Not to worry. Even with the ASML blueprints on hand given to China, it will never be able to make such a complicated machine. Or so they think. China was never given the blueprints to go to the moon by the USA, and yet they went. Oops, sorry, the USA blueprints were reported to be lost. How convenient. I hope they do not say that China stole them.

Was China given the blueprints for the International Space Station when it was not even allowed to set foot on the ISS as dictated by the USA? Of course, even if given the ISS blueprints, China would still not be capable of making its own space station. Or so they think. And then the USA found out that China made its own Tiangong Space Station and told the USA to just stay out.

Of course, as in the story of the fox and the sour grape story, the USA claimed they refused to take part in the Chinese Tiangong Station research because the signs and documentation were in Chinese and they would not learn Chinese. They want China to remove those Chinese signs and documentation before willing to join. Fat hope the Chinese are going to do that just to let them in. In fact, the Chinese already told the USA it has nothing positive to contribute to research on China's Space Station, short of creating problems as always. Many countries taking part in the Tiangong Space Station were ever willing to learn Chinese before setting foot on the Chinese Space Station.

But let the USA continue to think China is always one step behind them in everything, when the reality does not follow the thinking. That is how countries fall behind and are overtaken, being arrogant and over estimating oneself. No country is an exception, even being deemed exceptional. Exceptionalism is not the monopoly of the USA anymore, neither is progress. Every country, big or small, has the right to progress. Only countries that are too friendly with the USA, like Germany and Japan, could not break the stranglehold. That is the price to pay by being friends of the USA.

America stopping China? China has the ability to make anything it needs, anything the world needs

As I said earlier, China is never going to fall into the trap of buying into USA technology again where it can make its own. That goes for Nvidia most of all. China is weaning itself from relying on USA technology going forward. Making better chips is just a matter of time and that indicates to the USA that its dream of curbing technology exports to China is going to be a moot point eventually. People can bet against it.

What does not kill China will make it stronger, more resilient, more determined and more innovative with strong support by the Chinese Government. Huawei proves the point and now even Ericson and Nokia have admitted that Huawei is the peer competitor in the global telecommunication sector. I think they forgot that Huawei is now not just a telecommunication giant, but also moving into chip manufacturing and EVs as well. Think about how innovative Huawei has become, reinventing itself when the USA tried to kill it.

It is just a question of time that China will quietly dominate even the chip making machinery that only ASML excels in right now. What is humanly possible to make is humanly possible to be replicated and made by others? That is just human ingenuity, nothing of a miracle if you want to call it. Just like making the bomb, with so many countries now capable of making one.

Does this ring a bell that something is not right? It seems that Indian talents are good at taking over already well run and managed foreign corporations and keep it running with the success momentum and good foundation. But they cannot run Indian companies that are already badly run, and with bad foundations and management practices in place.

With Indian companies in India failing, some jokers may think it is a good opportunity to grab these failing Indian companies, throw in good money to bad money, and hoping to turn them around. The obvious danger is that the dark pit is bottomless and for no talent Singaporeans. They cannot see the danger and think they can be better than the Indian talents to run Indian companies and nurture them to profitability. Good luck to bad rubbish. Let's see who are the silly buggers that are going to use OPM to dump into failing Indian companies...good deals. golden opportunities, once in a life time chance to invest in India and to make a fortune of rupees.

Modi is visiting all the USA dog houses trying to cut deals with the doggies. Now I believe he is in Rome, escaping from the heat in India. With temperatures around 43 to 45% in the country, it is like standing right in front of a raging furnace. That is just for a start to the hot season, as it will get worse.

The role of India in BRICS is very clear for all to see. India is the trojan horse of the USA, sabotaging the agenda of BRICS. How could a country be loyal serving the USA in QUAD and being loyal to BRICS? Which is also why BRICS must never admit any of the European states in NATO to join BRICS, including Japan and South Korea. Of course, the USA will make sure they do not do so. BRICS is after all a coalition of countries whose ambition is de-dollarization. We keep hearing about his ultimatums since even before the start of the war. Making weapons is not like putting together Lego Bricks. Time is not on the USA side.

Trump made the same ultimatum against North Korea during his de-nuclearization threat against Kim. He wanted de-nuclearization by Kim or else he will bomb North Korea to the stone age and reduce the country to rubble. He said he had a bigger button to press. What happened to all those threats? Figure it out.

Trump said the USA is prepared for a massive invasion of Iran if talks fail. Does the USA have all the bombs, ammunition and gumption to do that? Gloating and boasting is one thing. Why is there a need to even invade when he already issued ultimatums and boasted about bombing Iran from the surface of the earth. Or bombing Iran back to the stone age. China's buying of Boeing and Airbus is only temporary. China will be self sufficient in matter of time

What deal is Trump talking about? China just said those are preliminary discussions, not deals in the bag.

I heard somewhere that Boeing had already been in discussion with Chinese aviation sectors about orders for 500 Boeing jets, not 200, for international service. If that is true, it means Trump is still living under a rock, agreeing to the figure of 200 jets and a making a song and dance about it.

China now has many options buying from Airbus as well, so using Boeing as leverage is no more useful. Moreover, China must also remember that Boeing is one of the top USA weapon's manufacturers within the Military Industrial Complex of the USA. Supporting Boeing is helping the USA to make weapons to target China in time to come.

China will not fight a losing war but Washington clowns will

 Do not expect Trump to admit a mistake. Trump only claims victory, success, winning and winning. That is Trump. Trump will fight any war and believe he is winning even if he is losing, just by shouting, we are winning, we are winning. This deranged mass murderer is very dangerous when let loose. No one is believing in this lunatic and what he said. We need to kill the Iranians because they are going to build nuclear bombs to kill Americans. The Americans and the Israelis cannot win a war against Iran. The logistics and math are against them. No longer can American warplanes and warships fly and sail anywhere they want, not near to Iran. These are like clipping the wings and sails of the Americans. How to fight a war from a distance and win? How to support a war from 10,000 miles away? They cannot even win the war in Ukraine. Iran is a much bigger fish. Any military strategist will have told Trump to stop this war he cannot win. Xi will be backing Iran to the fullest, other than its strategic importance, Xi will fight because he knows he can win.
