Italy and Argentina were pushed into a corner and now
trying to reset their relations with China. That is the main reason for
their about turn, real of false intent is left to be seen.
Now,
China must be very cautious regarding these two snakes. Real or
imaginary in their repentance moves, China cannot just forget about
their acts of betrayal in the past and welcome them with open arms. That
would be a big mistake, knowing that they could do another betrayal
under further pressure by the USA.
What is most important is not
investing too much in these two countries or having to face problems
with seizure later on. Lessons must be learnt, not forgotten. Moreover,
China is dumping assets in the EU already and cannot be reversing its
stand just because of Italy. And what the USA is doing with pressure
exerted on Mexico can very well be applied to Argentina as well.
There
are safer avenues for investments by Chinese companies even in Europe,
such as Hungary and Serbia. There is also a big enough world for China
to invest in outside of the USA and EU. There are South American
countries beckoning. There are African countries waiting to welcome more
Chinese investments. There are many ASEAN countries giving China a big
plus to replace the USA as the big power they want to welcome. The three
exceptions of this new geopolitical shift are Singapore, Philippines
and Vietnam.
Any surprise? Vietnam is the surprise, after all
the help given by China during the Vietnam war. South Vietnamese
population are anti-China to the core that is for sure. China was the
reason for their defeat against the North during the Vietnam War. They
still love the GIs giving them the infamous Vietnam Rose and fathering
all the illegitimate children. They conveniently forgot the pain caused
by the USA resulting from the use of Agent Orange and Napalm Bombs that
destroyed their agricultural land and causing deformities in children
born afterwards, the millions of mines the USA dropped and the
decapacitation caused by them and the sufferings of the people.

PS. Argentina followed the rogue American terrorists to recognise opposition leader in Venezuela as the elected President instead of the majority elected President Maduro. How atrocious can this be?

This is another run of the mill attempt to cause unrest in Venezuela, by using the opposition leader as proxy to stir trouble for legally elected President Nicolas Maduro.
Who can forget the USA attempting to use Juan Guaido, the opposition leader, their intended stooge like Zelensky, to rule Venezuela so that the USA can have its hands on the oil. The attempt was so desperately done, that mercenaries were even recruited by the CIA to invade Venezuela and bring down the Government of Nicolas Maduro on the sly. It failed.
The USA thinks other countries are doing the same thing as them, discreetly stealing elections. Just ask Trump, who still believes the 2020 election was stolen from him. 2020 was not the only occasion of election fraud accusation. There were other instances of stolen election accusation through subterfuge, but losing candidates just take it lying down to prevent overdoing their protest to tarnish the system with the CIA insidious threat hanging over their heads. In 2000, furore erupted when Al Gore lost to George W. Bush despite winning the popular vote. Only Trump was bold enough to hang on to his belief that his Presidency was stolen. That is why he was threatened with assassination or should have been assassinated recently.
Now the USA is replaying the same hubris against President Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela. When their stooge fails to win and assume power, the USA will do its dirty work of creating conditions for a regime change until their stooge regains power. Ukraine, Philippines and Pakistan are just examples. In Thailand the attempt failed.
In my opinion, Italy is worthy of assistance by China but Argentina is not !
Argentina's President Javier Milei is like a headless cockroach, not knowing which direction to run to for help today. Needless to say, he is not to be trusted, as he is still clearly following closely the instructions of his handlers, the USA.
Just look at his behavior of opening his big mouth to support the USA's stand of recognizing the opposition leader of Venezuela as the true leader. It is a mystery how he ever became the President of Argentina and that really boggles the mind. Such a fickle- minded person deserves little respect and behaves just like a loyal dog towards the USA. Honestly, does he remind us of one of the three stooges?
Javier Milei must be the only Global South leader bucking the trend of trying to bring Argentina into supporting the US$ hegemony and going against the grain of Global South de-dollarization move.
Being given a chance to join BRICS, he flouted it. He should reach out to the USA for help since he is supporting the dollarization move so blatantly. China must not be misled by his behavior of soliciting Chinese help after denigrating China. After getting Chinese help he will probably run over to the USA and helping the USA to demonize China further.
I agree that China must never ever help Argentina, no matter what.
