American narrative - your top customer is your enemy, a threat to you

How many companies and corporations would believe that their top customers are their enemies and a threat to them, and they must take actions against their top customers, don't sell to them, irritate them, make life difficult for them? Would a hotel make life difficult for their top customers? Would a country make life difficult for their top trade partners?

This is the narrative that the Americans are selling to their allies, stooges and cronies and countries of the world. Their top trade partners are their enemies, a threat to them. They must be wary of their top trade partners, make life difficult for their trade partners, and best, don't trade with them, don't buy from them, don't sell to them.

Some silly countries like Australia and Canada are now feeling the heat in their backsides. The European countries are also feeling the pain in their asses. But they can be excused as they are mostly AngloSaxon countries and political allies of the American Empire. They have to take orders from the Americans and do it as told, ordered or dictated by the Americans, willingly or unwillingly. They have a political agenda and goals and would not want their enemies to be successful. Unfortunately, not trading with their top trade partners mean that they too would suffer the pain, no buyers for their products and no sellers for what they need. They have to decide which is more important, economic needs or political needs.

As for the rest of the countries in the world, would they buy this stupid narrative, to go against their top trading partners, not to trade with their top trading partners, treat their top trading partners as enemies? Or go to war with their top trading partners?

The South Koreans and Japanese have just been whacked by China with a ten foot cane and are screaming foul. How can China do that? It is their right to be anti China, to irritate China, make life difficult for China, and China cannot hit back. China would hit back for sure, and hit back hard. More and more silly countries would get kicked by China, their top trading partner, the country that could sell them what they need, at cheaper price and good quality, value for money. And China is also the country that would buy from them, especially dirt from the land that would otherwise lay wasted in their land when there is no buyer. Even micro chips, when China is not buying ang there are no takers, the micro chips would also become dirt. Many big American tech companies are retrenching staff, making losses because of this. Even essential, useful and desired products, like food, wines, lobsters, etc etc, if China is not going to buy them, who else could buy them at a price and volume that no one else could offer?

How many silly national leaders would want to pick a fight with their number one trade partners, their benefactors? But not to worry, there are many silly national leaders that would just listen to the Americans and sacrifice the interests of their people and country, to pick a fight with their top trading partner, because the Americans told them to do so.

Good riddance to low thinking national leaders.

Oh, by the way, we can sell you weapons to fight with your top customer, your top trading partner. We can protect you when...in the future....your top trading partner attacks you. You must prepare for that. The best thing is stop trading with them for your own safety. What a clever argument.

This is like telling them their fathers would become criminals, rapists, murderers in the future. They are behaving well now, but in the future they would turn bad. Quick, chase them out of the house or lock them in the storeroom. Believing in the future of events that the Americans said would happen in the interest of the Americans?

South Korea is in deep trouble, with shrinking trade numbers. President Yoon Suk yeol is trying to be too chummy with the USA by taking sides against China, seemingly 'a yes sir man' towards the USA. Moon, before him, had tried to take a more even line towards China, and not as a fully complaint USA stooge like Fumio Kishida.

Samsung is in big trouble too. With falling revenue and profits, which we should not discount as being due to the fact that they are obviously selling less, or even not able to sell high end chips to the Chinese market, thereby digging its own grave. They will loose the Chinese market totally, going forward.

As members of the Chip4 Alliance, comprising USA, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, the latter two are already openly suffering revenue losses, after their chip sanctions against China and loosing the Chinese market. They are cutting their own noses to spite their faces.

Like the sanctions against Russia, with Europe suffering more than Russia, the three Asian partners of the Alliance are sunk. What the USA did with their so called Chip4 Alliance is all a ploy to re-energise the USA's own chip maker's fortune.

The subsidies promised by Biden are all favouring their own domestic chip makers, not manufacturers like TSMC or Samsung, who were lured by those subsidies to set up factories in the USA. Such an arrangement kills two birds with one stone. On the one hand the USA is stealthily trying to revitalise support to US chip makers like Intel and Nvidia, while being given the opportunity to kill the Japanese, Taiwanese and South Korean chip makers by cutting off their access to the Chinese market.

These three Asian chip makers have not realised that they are being sacrificed by the USA, just like the Europeans, just to confront China. Whose interest is at stake, and who takes the cake, does not need a rocket scientist to figure it out for us.

What does not work using oil sanctions against Russia, will likewise not work using chip sanctions against China. Russia controls the oil and China controls the chip market. Simple as that.

China today has everything it needs. It can close its doors to South Korea and Japan completely and watch how these two trouble makers try to stay alive.

China, just do it. Stop doing business with South Korea and Japan.

USD as reserve currency:

'In recent years Washington has so abused the dollar’s reserve currency role with sanctions and asset seizes that many countries desire to settle their trade imbalances in their own currencies in order to escape Washington’s ability to threaten and punish them for serving their own interests rather than Washington’s. If Saudi Arabia abandons the petrodollar, the demand for dollars and the dollar’s value will fall.

This is a major threat to Washington’s power and to the financial power of American banks.

It is possible that the Saudis are sending a signal to Washington that Washington’s failure to comply with some Saudi concerns or interests can have undesirable consequences for the US. In other words, the Saudis might be using their leverage to get what they want from Washington.

Time will tell. If the Saudis do drop the petrodollar, Americans will face stiff inflation and high interest rates necessary to finance US budget deficits, unless the Fed itself finances the deficits by printing money, in which case monetary inflation would be added to inflation caused by the drop in the dollar’s foreign exchange value resulting from declining foreign demand for the US dollar.

Should this come to pass the implication for the US is massive austerity.'

The whole world, in particular the Saudis, have given up on the US$. No amount of coaxing and lies would change the mind of the Saudis and the rest of the world to trust the US$. The last nail in the coffin has been slammed in. It is the end of the dollar story.

Would any country leader be silly enough to believe the Americans and still want to buy US T bills or park their money or gold in the US or American banks? Would they still want to use US$ as their national reserves?

The answer is obvious. You cheat me once, bad luck. You cheat me twice, I am a fool.

Even the bananas would give up on the US$ except the confirmed idiots.

The Americans did this to themselves.

Right. If the USA can just seize other country's assets and reserves just at their whims and fancies, do countries still trust them by buying Treasuries or invest in assets in the USA and the West? Common sense is all that is needed to answer this question.

What the USA can do to one country, it can do to all others. And, as we all know, it is not only Russia that is at the receiving end. Earlier, Venzuela's gold were confiscated. Afghanistan's reserves were also frozen, and I should say seized.

Hi everyone. Good news.

Singaporeans can use their Community Development Council (CDC) vouchers at two more supermarkets – Giant Singapore and Ang Mo Supermarket – from Wednesday, South West District Mayor Low Yen Ling announced on Facebook.

There are 55 Giant outlets and 12 Ang Mo Supermarket outlets which accept CDC vouchers, according to the CDC website.

The other five participating supermarket chains are FairPrice, Sheng Siong, Prime, Hao Mart and U Stars.

“Together, these seven supermarket chains offer Singaporean households over 360 outlets islandwide to spend their CDC vouchers. This is in addition to the over 20,600 participating heartland hawkers and merchants on the scheme,” Ms Low said on Facebook on Wednesday.

More than 1.1 million, or 90 per cent, of Singaporean households have claimed their $300 in CDC vouchers for 2023 since they were launched on Jan 3, the mayor added. Half of the amount can be spent in supermarkets.

In less than a month, residents have spent more than $132 million at participating outlets.

Compared with the voucher tranches in 2021 and 2022, 15 per cent more Singaporean households claimed their CDC vouchers for 2023 within the first month of the scheme’s launch.

Ms Low said she was glad that Singaporeans were speedily claiming and spending the 2023 tranche of vouchers, as this was helping businesses in the heartland and defraying Singaporeans’ household expenses.

The CDC vouchers are part of a comprehensive package to cushion the effects of inflation and the goods and services tax (GST) increase in 2023.

Giant, a retailer under DFI Retail Group, said its participation in the CDC scheme would help customers “stretch their dollar” in times of inflation and economic uncertainty.

The supermarket chain also announced earlier that it would absorb the 1 per cent GST increase for more than 700 essential products for six months.

Giant and Ang Mo also sells chips. Can use our vouchers there. No need to buy Japanese and Korean chips.

Most have probably used a large part of their vouchers at NTUC already during Chinese New Year. Giant and Ang Mo can get the tail end of the bargaining chips or what is left.

A nation of peoples who lean to ducks eat ducks and leaned to chickens eat chickens.

That's why China doesn't invest too fast into them.

American soldiers in their country would compromise their security. They could conduct regime change easier. Marcos is setting himself up to be assassinated or removed by the Americans.

The Pinoy as a people, tried so hard to get rid of the American bases. Their leaders invited the Americans back to control them.

The Pinoys probably believe in the lightning theory, that lightning would not strike in the same place twice. So the Americans had colonised them before, massacred millions of Pinoys before, so would not do it again.

Then they believe in the American propaganda that China may not have colonised them before, but in the future China would colonise them. So better to bring in the Americans, nevermind being a semi colony of the peaceful and nice Americans. The Pinays would have a lot of jobs in the bars serving the rich Americans. Good jobs.

Stupidity has no cure.

The Pinoys actually almost were genocided like the Native American Indians. Why? Religion wise they fell for the same trick that took down the Native American Indians, and here in the Philippines you know what their religion did and is still doing to the country?

Compared to the Native American Indians they were more civilised and managed to endure all the attempts to crumble them by misleading them to totally lose their land in exchange for the Bible, like what the Native Americans did, and now living in reservations. However, I believe they were and are still largely constrained by their religious beliefs - cannot have abortions, cannot take contraceptives and they therefore procreate like rabbits, making it more difficult to be lifted out of poverty. Overpopulation and under development is the curse that they are suffering under. Hopefully, they can come to appreciate the Chinese helping them with developments to reverse the trend and not fall for the USA propaganda instead.

On the other hand, perhaps some of them still love to go back to the old days of living under colonisation. It is their choice to make.
