US Provocation, China Must Act:

WASHINGTON—The U.S. is markedly increasing the number of troops deployed to Taiwan, more than quadrupling the current number to bolster a training program for the island’s military amid a rising threat from China.

The U.S. plans to deploy between 100 and 200 troops to the island in the coming months, up from roughly 30 there a year ago, according to U.S. officials. The larger force will expand a training program the Pentagon has taken pains not to publicize as the U.S. works to provide Taipei with the capabilities it needs to defend itself without provoking Beijing.

The number of American troops, which has included special-operations forces and U.S. Marines, has fluctuated by a handful during the past few years, according to Defense Department data. The planned increase would be the largest deployment of forces in decades by the U.S. on Taiwan, as the two draw closer to counter China’s growing military power.

Beyond training on Taiwan, the Michigan National Guard is also training a contingent of the Taiwanese military, including during annual exercises with multiple countries at Camp Grayling in northern Michigan, according to people familiar with the training.

The Failing US Hegemony:

'The US government is currently trying to maintain, or hang onto, the extent of hegemonic control it has throughout the rest of the world. The preceding sections of this paper address many elements that are going wrong and how difficult it will be for the US to be successful. There are even more problems that are not discussed, such as healthcare and education. The government in Washington seems blind to the fact that the US is sliding into a form of isolationism. Other countries are increasingly going their own way and declining to take orders from Washington. The US is picking fights with Russia and China at the same time—oblivious to the fact that the US will lose the contest.

However, even parts of the US Establishment evidently begin to sense that all is not right, for the latest issue of Foreign Affairs published an article by Andrew J. Bacevich that contains some hard truths:

“A combination of grotesque inequality and feckless profligacy goes a long way toward explaining why such an immense and richly endowed country finds itself unable to contend with dysfunction at home and crises abroad. Military might cannot compensate for an absence of internal cohesion and governmental self-discipline. Unless the United States gets its house in order, it has little hope of exercising global leadership—much less prevailing in a mostly imaginary competition pitting democracy against autocracy.”

Trump's Presidency had been all about promoting an 'America First' policy and using 'Make America Great Again' as his war cry.

Now Biden seems to be pursuing a different tack of an 'America Last' policy. The Ohio Train Derailment is not on his agenda of priority. Ukraine is top priority and he visited Ukraine while Ohio residents fester in misery. Trump capitalised on it by visiting Ohio first and got all the credit. Shooting down weather balloons and UFOs is another of Biden's preoccupation, presumably to divert attention away from other more pressing domestic issues like his involvement in hidden classified documents and his son Hector's dodgy affairs.

Tackling escalating homelessness is also not even his priority, while pouring money into the Ukraine black hole is more important. The drug abuse problem is also getting out of hand and beyond control now. Drug dealers are even reported to be doing a roaring business right in front of Police Stations and law enforcement officers.

Beyond Ukraine, Taiwan is also a top prority and promoting more avenues for conflict is his ambition, by openly and blatantly touting intention to station more troops in Taiwan to antagonise China.

The USA is really hell bent on starting a war across the Taiwan Straits, with provocation after provocation. A war by any means is the last straw that the USA is grabbing to preserve its hegemonic reign. The USA knows that given another five years, it will not be able to deal with China militarily. Economically, in about that time, the USA will be overwhelmed by China becoming the world's No. 1 economic power.

And demented crazy old Joe already said in no uncertain terms that he will not allow China to overtake the USA during his watch. So, a war with China is a certainty and he will have to start it by hook or by crook.

Putin seems to be leaking his secrets all over the media, if you believe all the bullshit in the MSM. How did the media discovered all the secrets about what Putin is trying to do? Marvellous. They could not uncover the truth about most things mundane, but can find out secrets of leaders they do not like.

Now spreading propaganda that Putin wanted to annex Belarus from secret leaks. This is an attempt to create bad blood between Russia and Belarus, knowing that Belarus just announced that they will only fight with Russia.

Moreover, Belarus is providing a buffer zone for Russia against Nato, so why would Russia want to annex Belarus that did nothing to antagonise the Russians and giving the Russians free protection? Ilogical nonsense!

You should stop getting your news fron MSN or western sources ..all are BS or anti-truth propaganda.

Even the Muslim news info are saying that Ukraine conflict is leading to tactical and strategic nuclear strikes:

'The seriousness of Russia's confrontation with the West has raised the question of the likelihood of this conflict escalating to a nuclear one. The use of Tactical Nuclear Weapons (TNWs) and Strategic Nuclear Weapons (SNWs) was discussed at all levels, from governments to the media. Since we were already talking about a full-fledged war between Russia and the West, such a prospect ceased to be purely theoretical and became an argument that is increasingly mentioned by various parties to the conflict.

A few comments should be made in this regard.

Despite the fact that the actual state of affairs in nuclear technology is deeply classified, and no one can be entirely sure how things really are in this area, it is believed (and probably not without reason) that Russia's nuclear capabilities, as well as the means to use them through missiles, submarines and other ways, are sufficient to destroy the United States and NATO countries.

At the moment, NATO does not have sufficient means to protect itself from a potential Russian nuclear strike. Therefore, in case of an emergency, Russia can resort to this last argument.

Putin outlined what he meant by this: Essentially, if Russia faces a direct military defeat at the hands of NATO countries and their allies, occupation and loss of sovereignty, Russia can use nuclear weapons.'

PS..Me thinks it's Putin way of forcing the US military to faceoff with the US Neocon leaders before things get out of control.

US wouldn't do this without an invite from the TW gov just the same as past and present American and western leaders wouldn't visit without being invited and some being paid. Read Mike Pompeo was paid more than US$100K.
Tsai and her DPP ought to be kicked out and held accountable for leading her region and the Asian Pacific countries living dangerously while they weee running Taiwan.

If Taiwan does not act against the traitors in DPP, then Taiwan deserves to go the Ukraine way, mass destruction and millions of death of Taiwan Chinese. This is the inevitable result for being traitors to the motherland.

Ukraine is the best example of the fate of a small state thinking it can provoke and fight a super power like Russia with the backing of the Americans and Nato.

A small state is a small state and should not act cocky. They would end up in ruins. It is best for small states to keep out of big power politics and not be used by the Americans in their hegemonic war, to control the world. It is best for small states to shut up and mind their own business.
