So good to play with big money

Just fantasizing, if the $800m to be given to IMF can be given to the pioneering generation, how much will each person be getting? Ok, not all $800m, as the increase is from $50m to $800m, an additional $750m that can be thrown at the pioneering generation is still quite some money.

If only 1,500 are deemed worthy, or lucky to be chosen, $750m means each can get $500K or half a million. If each is to be given $100K, then 7,500 will be lucky ones. Or if the sum is $10K, then 75,000 will get lucky.

Still not sure what are the criteria for the pioneering generation. The groups of seniors that suffered the most and paid the most for building this nation were the first few batches of NS men. They were there when the country needed them most to protect our sovereignty and security. It would be so unfair that they be left out and not regarded as the pioneers of this nation. And if 70 years is the cut of age, then most of the pioneering NS men would not even be considered.

Maybe must ask the people for feedback to set the criteria for pioneering generation. How about giving your feedback to Reach? Or is this another no need feedback matter?
What do you think? Many of the pioneering generation happened to be on the wrong side of the political divide, or the wrong political colour. And many of the chosen ones are likely to be so damn rich that they don’t need a single cent more to bring into their coffins. It would be too heavy to carry for sure. How ah?

You need to help others (IMF) so that in times of need people will come and help you.

ROFL.
Must be a PAPig.
If you want to help "others", why not you use PAP money?
Stop using Singaporeans' money.

Fucking hypocrites.
Why not you send Millionaire Balakrishnan to tell IMF:
"How much do you want? 3 meals in a hawker centre, food court or restaurant?"
You bully poor Singaporeans.
But you dare not bully the IMF.
Fucking cowards.

You subsidize IMF with Singaporeans' money.
But you don't subsidize Singaporeans with Singaporeans' money.

Do you know that there is a long queue of foreign leaders outside the Istana and Tharman's office waiting for handouts from the richest island in the world?

High in Foul Language. That's number one.
Low in IQ
Pretend high in Passion and Patriotism for Singapore.

Stupid , idiotic, short sighted and a crowd of fucking foul mouth people populate the Opposition camp.

What more can I say?

I like this part, 'Low in IQ
Pretend high in Passion and Patriotism for Singapore.

Stupid , idiotic, short sighted.'

It is obvious which camp is in abundance. No need to guess.

Hahaha

What Anon 10.21 said was what I am thinking too.

In any case pioneers of Hougang SMC, Aljunied GRC and Punggol East SMC will also not be considered.

And maybe they must be at least 90 years old hor.

Feedback? They have already decided who should or should not get.

Sure, they may even stage a wayang in Parliament, but of what use after they have decided.

/// You need to help others (IMF) so that in times of need people will come and help you. ///

How you know IMF people can be trusted?
You help IMF now.
How you know IMF will help you back later on?
Got sign agreement contract or not?

Just like PAP promise to give back CPF money at age 55.
PAP can be trusted or not?
PAP got give CPF money back or not?
Is it because Singaporeans never sign agreement contract with PAP?
That's why CPF money never return?

So Singaporeans.
What do you think?
Vote PAP in GE 2016.
So that in times of need, PAP will come and help you?
Got ask all those Singaporeans asking for help in "Meet the People's Session".
The PAP MP got any use or not?

We will help everyone except Singaporeans.
That is our motto.
Use Singaporeans' money to help non-Singaporeans.

Vote PAPig in GE 2016.
And help deprive a Singaporean child of his rightful place in a Singaporean university.
Or help prevent a Singaporean PMET from getting a job.

there is no free lunch else how can tharma FM dine with IMF chief Christine?

Anonymous said...

So tharma's dinner with IMF Christine cost $800 million dollars.
Very expensive dinner leh.
So where is the money going to come from? (Typical PAP Minister question).
What do Singaporeans get in exchange for $800 million dollars?

We want to know how carefully "measured" and "calibrated" the PAP decision was.

"Pretend high in Passion and Patriotism for Singapore."

Excuse me. My patriotism is for Singaporeans ... not PAP's Singapore.

This is the 保护费 for the PAP to make the international organization quiet. So that they can ill treat the citizens.

they should give every senior citizens above 70 yo who are short of cpf minimum sum a reasonable pension every month. the money can come from the increase of property tax of foreigners who own private properties.

Anonymous said...

I hope parliament does not approve the $800m to be given away just like that.

Anonymous said...

If opposition control parliament they can vote to give the $800m to the pioneer generation instead, each one enough to live comfortably. Why don't our opposition mps ask some questions instead of fighting over the trade fair thingy..get something for us..

I think LKY is dying.

Anonymous said...

I forecast LKY will not be attending CNY dinner with his constituents in 2015.
I also forecast LKY will not be attending the Tanjong Pagar "Meet the People Session" any time soon.

Certain things in Singapore not very difficult to forecast:
- Will NatCON change PAP policy?
- Did the parliamentary debate on the Population White Paper change anything?

Indonesia still does not forget that we hanged TWO of their marines during the Indonesian Confrontasi.(Confrontation)

To us they are terrorists who bombed MacDonald House in 1965 killing three and injuring another thirty three.

To them, they are HEROES and naming their Naval ships after them.

So, as what Mr RB said, hopefully, the PAP can still remember the first few batches of CAS (NS) men who joined the ranks of the SAF in the defence of Sinkie Land at that time as Pioneer Generation and allocated medical benefits to them also.

Think susah lah!! Lau Goh even in his GST credits during his watch had allocated less benefits to the OLD Servicemen as been given to the current active servicemen as to him what is past is past.

NO more useful service to them so chuck them aside.
