Hsien Loong must be careful on what he is being fed

Zee News reported on 4 May 14 that Hsien Loong made these remarks,

‘"Singaporeans, new arrivals, people who are on permanent residence here, people who are on employment pass here, all participating in one big Singapore family... So that we feel that this is a place which is special, which belongs to all of us and where we all celebrate one another's festivals and happy events together."

Dressed in red Kurta, Lee joined 600 residents at a community club of his constituency, tried his hand at a Thanjavur painting which was on cultural display and watched performances by classical Indian dancers.'

There are many comments in the net with netizens showing great concern as to why Hsien Loong said these things. I am more concern with what Hsien Loong is eating or drinking. I am worried that he is being doped and didn’t know what he was saying. Who knows. Maybe he really meant what he said. Sinkieland belongs to everyone here, citizens or non citizens.

It is really puzzling for Hsien Loong to say this. I beg he is misquoted.

I too just told my children that our apartment too belongs to those Town Council cleaners who daily sweep our corridor and maintains the block. They are to let them into the house with no questions asked. Also, I've instructed my wife that these cleaners should be fed first and made to feel completely at home as we should all be one big happy community.

My wife and children no longer talks to me.

They are thinking of committing me to a mental asylum.

Did I do anything wrong?

All I ever wished for was to made this cleaners feel wanted and at home in our little island.

Is that too much to ask for?

The Prime Minister was very right. That's why 60+% of Sinkies agree with him and voted for his Party. They really adore Lee Hsien Loong and Lee Hsien Loongs adores aliens and there goes the Cycle.

Hsien Loong is Matilah's idol. Borderless, anyone can come in and share the hotel.

We've been completely sold out by Lee Hsien Loon the traitor.

In any other country what he said would have triggered a revolution.

Over here we meek S'poreans at best can only pray and hope that he gets a relapse with his Lymphoma to shorten his life.

Hi dearie, welcome to the blog.

Look at it this way, it could be worse. He is the best man for the job. Think what would have happened if the second best is in the job?

Think CECA, then AEC and than TPP.

i dont think he is misquoted by indian papers because straits times also quoted those traitorous words.
he is really mad this time. i think he is having cancer relapse and cannit think clearly. in a one man dictatorship the country is destroyed. all the keyboard warriors here are not worth a thing. just a riot in serangoon and today PAP said they are building FOUR new recreation centre for foreign workers.

PM Lee can rest assured that despite whatever he had said or even do, the strongest opposition party will not be ready to be govt.

So 60% are very scared if they vote opposition, they may accidentally vote out PAP.

Which opposition leader is ready and also accepted by all opposition to be PM, u tell me lah?

Violence? And by Sinkies?

U must be kidding.

Sinkies are not even interested to protest legally in large numbers at Hong Lim Park, let alone illegal and violent ones.

Tiok. Nobody.

Even if WP Teochew Ah Hia want to be PM, I think SDP Chee will not accept it. And vice versa.

By the way, Ah Hia had even publicly stated he has no ambition to be PM, despite being the secretary general of the strongest opposition party, the WP.

If I were PM lee, that's very reassuring.

And so why would I be bothered by what RB and other Sinkies said?
Can these Sinkies replace me, u tell me lah?

The key point we are disputing is the way in which migrant is taken in, and in an uncontrollable manner - like a condom given away for free....

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his father make many a Sinkies very sad and sick.

What he is eating to spew those rubbish is not the biggest concern. What the voters have been fed to continue electing him and his ilk to lord over them is of greater interest.

What is so shocking about Singapore belonging to everyone here including foreigners?

It's already happening years ago and Singaporean has just woken up from slumber land!!!

Come on, if you are a true Singaporean, do you still feel this is "home" anymore.

Furious? But are they furious enough to even vote for a dog or cat instead of PAP?

And if so, are there enough of them to vote PAP out?

A lot of people have been saying that he is a traitor, his words just prove that.

Chua Chin Leng蔡镇龍 aka redbean said...

No lah, don't use such tag on the PM. He just want to be the PM of 6.9m instead of 3.5m people. This is called aspiration.

Anonymous said...

RB: //This is called aspiration.//

Like the old man calling the National Pledge an aspiration?
The 6.9 million is already set in concrete, chisseled into the Population White Paper. This idiot is welcoming all the FT's with open arms and legs. Maybe he has an "aspiration" to be the next President of the United Countries of South East Asia, like his old man wanted to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia, but was booted out. Their heads are too big for this little red dot.

Why are some Sinkies so furious with what PM Lee had said? If what he said is bad, it had already happened! And since 2011 !

Yet 60% Sinkies then were OK with PAP to be govt and Lee as PM.

So does it matter if he had said or not said? If not, why angry with something which does not matter?

Anonymous said...

My Dear Prime Minister, you have indeed lost the respect of so many Singaporeans and most important of all, the honour and moral authority to lead Singapore by such utterance. I would urge you to apologize for making such disgraceful remark, resign and step down from your office. That would be the only last dignified thing you can do for Singapore, our country, our home land.

Most sinkies have anger management problem. Must learn from Matilah. No matter how horrible he was provoked, he can still stay still cool.

Sinkies must not forget that it is not the immigrants that caused their problems so no use getting angry with them or blame them. Get to the root cause of the problem. Blaming is useless. Blaming is wasted energy.

If it was OK in 2011 when things were bad, then it should also be OK in 2015/2016 if things are still bad, tio bo?

Do not forget, anyone will be and can be an immigrant anytime. So do not blame the immigrant.

“So that we feel that this is a place which is special, which belongs to all of us and where we all celebrate one another’s festivals and happy events together.”
a mountain out of molehill and quoting out of context of the whole sentence.

the 1st part of sentence starts “so that we feel”, is there a problem to have a feeling of belonging and togetherness.

Not a word on physical ownership was stated by him .

Wow, so now PM cannot have feeling when this was the complaint both past and present.

Chua Chin Leng蔡镇龍 aka redbean said...

'which belongs to all of us'

You can go and dissect the whole sentence and break it up into pieces and read whichever way you want to make yourself happy.

The issue is what the people read and how they perceive this statement. You can say anything you want and call it molehill.

That is your one man opinion.
Go and persuade all those angry voices that they are making a mountain out of a molehill. In politics, it is not what you say but what they hear.

I have to agree with rex. However violent revolution occurs only after the tipping point, and there are no signs of any such tipping point in wealthy Singapore.

For the most part, people have enough to live and enjoy. No bank runs, no food riots, no massive unemployment and destroyed economy nor is there any sectarian aggression. Even if you HALVE Singapore's per capita GDP, it would still surpass every developing cuntry on the planet.

So for the meantime... it i the "fanciful blogs" where all the hot-air non-action occurs!

Singaporeans idea of a "revolution" is to be in an aircon room, drinking coffee and eating snacks whilst writing great screeds on the internet demanding this and that and arguing with each other...taking breaks to surf to Japanese porn sites and jack-off, before returning to TRE to tekan the govt one more time.

Revolution, Singapore-style ;-)

Now that is no two planks, one in mine and one in yours. Would you bother to count or to you think they are all sensely daft sinkies who cannot read or understand English? They all misunderstood Hsien Loong?

Even if they have misunderstood, Hsien Loong would have a problem, for that is what they read and want to understand and want to get angry about.

Hope I'm in time to add this.

The govt just announced that they will build a few million $ of recreational areas for foreign workers.

So they are using taxpayers' money to help businesses hire cheap foreign workers. In other words, helping to make Singaporean workers unable to get higher pay.

Instead of making businesses pay more to employ foreign workers, the govt use our money to subsidise foreign workers and make our Singaporean friends and neighbours jobless. Makes me want to vomit. What about you guys?
