Good news, can build more homes...and bring in more wildlife

SINGAPORE: More private homes, community facilities and even a retirement village - these are ideas that property analysts have mooted for large tracts of land in Jurong previously earmarked for the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project, which has since been scrapped.  CNA

After scrapping the HSR, Jurong East becomes a big piece of land for development.  And the first thought is more homes can be built. I can understand the need for turning Jurong East into another Business District for more businesses and jobs, but more homes? Hasn't Singapore has enough of homes with a population growing at a low 1%?  Why is there this crazy idea of building homes and more homes, cutting down the last few patches of forests and greenery to build more homes when the population is not growing that much?

Oh, can import more wildlife, oops, I mean more foreigners, oops, they can become instant citizens ie Singaporeans. The main reason for this island to exist is to grow its population by bringing in more people that nobody wants into the island to occupy every precious little inch of land. No land must be wasted, must be put to good use in housing more people and more people. Singapore will create more land at whatever cost for this mission of populating the island.

Did someone say Singapore is not food secured, ie no food security, cannot produce enough food for its people, also no water security, no energy security, now no land even for the soldiers to train. Ok, the last part is irrelevant, nothing to defend anymore, no need to train soldiers, invite the foreigners to take over everything by becoming citizens. What is there to defend when the whole island is being given away, to be shared by all the wildlife from all over the world, indiscriminately?

How crazy can the thinking be? Singapore's mission is to populate the island and the world with more people? To give the island to everyone that is willing to come here? Seow!

Just look at the number of imported COVID-19 cases that PAP's Chan is allowing to be brought into Singapore everyday by the wildlife, while PAP's Lawrence Wong is at the same time urging Singaporeans to stay vigilant on the fight against the coronavirus . .

It looks like Singapore's economy will be based on 'brick and mortar' in years to come. If our northern neighbours do go ahead with the Kra project, we will no more be a strategic shipping hub. We will inadvertently have to become a property investment hub.

And like Japan, after all the money had been made by the landowners and developers, we will have a 'Japanese property crash' that took decades to recover, if what in Japan is termed a recovery, after all the years of continuous stimulation that made Japan the biggest debt to GDP country in the world at 237%.

What else can they think out of the box to grow or else stagnate? The writing was already on the wall when they brought in the two Casinos. Gambling can only contribute so much and without big players visiting the Casinos, and more Casinos springing up all around Asia, another writing is on the wall. Coupled with the pandemic, though there are still locals doing the rounds at the Casinos, those small potatoes are not enough to sustain the industry.

Hello Uncle Redbean, you have been writing about this topic on your so-called " importation of wildlives " into Singapore. Building more homes for the increase in imported foreigners is surely for the insurance of the PAP staying in power. Singaporeans are not stupid and they all realise that this policy would ensure the PAP staying in power for many years in the future. However, the question is, how do you stop this? The answer is quite clear. WTO and this influx of foreigners can be stopped immediately. Is this easy? NO !!! Why? Because Singaporeans are by nature selfish and can only see as far as their noses. They think for the present and not for the future of their children and grandchildren. Redbean, you can go on writing about this topic and nothing will change, because Singaporeans will not change. It is like crying in the rain, and no one will see your tears.

Probably the need of the resurrection of the old man. Cos when he smelt something not right in Sinkieland he would jus risen or resurrected or reincarnated again to help Sinkieland stop this mass importation indefinitely. Happy Easter Sunday.

One single case of COVID19 passenger on a SQ flight to HK and the HK authorities ban flights from Singapore for 2 weeks.

The COVID19 cases in Singapore are almost nearly all imported but we didn't stop any flights originated from those countries. People are still allowed to enter while locals and local businesses are made to sacrifice and penalised when stringent safe distancing measures are not adhered to.

If Singapore's economy restart really need these foreign workers to return, then so be it but stop allowing their dependents to tag along too until the pandemic is over. Based on the stats, we can see quite a few of these dependents were infected when tested on arrival.

How is it that when that passenger to Hong Kong was tested negative on boarding the plane over here, but on arrival in Hong Kong was tested positive. Are there different criteria used for testing.

Blimme, things are getting more and more complicating. And they were talking about having a travel bubble months ago.

Covid19 is a war being waged by some evil countries against China. Many wicked things are being done to spread the sickness in China and China/HK must be always vigilant to make sure their enemies would not sneak more Covid19 virus into China and HK.

Silly countries can continue to import more Covid19 cases into their countries thinking it would be fine. The pandemic is still growing and the worse is yet to come. European countries in their irresponsible behaviour, flirting with no masks, lifting lockdowns at every little opportunity or signs of improvement will be killing their people by these reckless policies of wanting to return to normal prematurely.

The new normal is not coming back so soon. The agenda of the COVID19, hatched by the Whites, is not over yet.

Why are they hoarding vaccines if they really want to have a normal virus free world? No, they are not done with the death toll yet. Having failed to wipe out the Chinese in particular, they are now withholding vaccines for the poorer countries, which are predominantly non-White countries and unable to make their own vaccines unlike the EU countries, thus letting the virus continue with their handiwork.

‘Double mutant’ COVID-19 variant from India found in Bay Area

Dr. Kavita Patel, a fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington D.C., told CNBC that the Indian variant “is something to watch very closely, and something that will not be limited to India.”

“This double mutation… is incredibly serious,” said Patel, who served as a policy director in the Barack Obama administration. “It is probably just the tip of the iceberg in what we would worry about in Asia.”

Not to worry, when they arrived at Changi, the first thing to do is to feed them with Newater. This will cleanse their body of all viruses, all mutants etc etc.
