Covid19 - Singapore reports another 1,111 cases today to make 9,125 in total

Hsien Loong is going to talk to the nation again, at 5pm. Is he going to declare Dorscon Red?

Watch the news. Expect some more restrictions. The graph is going exponential.

Lee Kuan Yew.
Where are you?

You said you will rise up again like a zombie if Singapore is in trouble.

Why do you break your promise now?

Very good measures taken. Extension of CB, control at wet markets, More fines for people who disobey etc. Well done LHL and the PAP.

Circuit Breaker: The Sound Of Silence

Hello my son, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was dying
And the vision that was planted in my brain still remains
Within the sound of silence

In restless streams I have walked alone
Narrow streets of cobble stone
Beneath the halo of London's street lamp
I turn my face to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by COVID-19's might
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in horrified visions I saw
Ten-thousand people maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People in dormitories that voices never share
And no one dares disturb the sound of silence
Of silence
Of silence
Of silence

"Fools, " said I, "You do not know
Silence's like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words, like silent rain-drops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the dead LKY they still hope
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said
"I will rise up from my grave!"
Written everywhere on the walls
And in all the school halls
And whispered in the sound of silence"

"I have cometh to relieve you
Of stupidity that cannot cure
By the sound of silence
Of deaths
Of sufferings
Of silence ..........

RB,

May you publish the above adapted song
"Circuit Breaker: The Sound Of Silence" for me tomorrow, please.

I forgot to dedicate the adapted song. So, could you please replace the P/S above with this:

P/S: The Sound Of Silence
Original song by Simon & Garfunkel - 1964
Adapted by FOG - 21 April 2020

This adaptation is dedicated in general to all Singaporeans and Foreigners who have suffered or affected in one way or another by the COVID-19 Pandemic, and specially dedicated to all the Members of Parliaments who have diligently maintained their Golden Silence over the last three months or so, with regard to the handling of this outbreak in Singapore.

RB, A thousand million thanks in advance.
