Stop that tour
The tour industry is eyeing the silver hair generation for more business. They are seeing this group of Singaporeans as a goldmine. But before the silver hair go and plonk their money into tour packages, they should carefully consider the little money they are left with for their old age and big hospital bills akan datang.
Base on all the current computations, many of them would not have enough to live till 80, and they are going to live to 100 years. Better not squander away those precious little savings.

Absolutely.
Many years ago I told my (very old) parents to spend all their money because I don't need nor want anything left to me.
The old folks have worked hard. many of them have lived hard too—through wars, depressions, poverty and uncertainty
Let them enjoy whatever they have left. and let the providers of those goods and services make money.
What's the alternative?
Hoard the money? Take it to the grave? Or give it to some asshole offspring or relative? ...all this whilst listening to the incessant yammerings of some overpaid but useless motherfucker employed by The State telling you—who are 70, 80, 90 years old—how to conduct the rest of your lives on earth, what you should believe in and who you ought to trust.
