The A team is not around now. But neither were they a permanent fixture before the GE. Yet they garnered so much vote in a supposedly GRC led by a formidable titan. What does it say?
The opposition hasn't earned the right to be ridiculed.
Ridiculing the government is much more fun, because they have a near monopoly of assholes, morons, liar and whores—and there are no limits to what one might come up with :-)
politicians are aspiring leaders. unless they presented themselves as clowns, we should give them some respect. ridiculing one another is setting a bad example and reflecting badly on the contestants.
the highest institutions of the state and their incumbents and potential incumbents must be accorded the due respect for the offices they held or aspire to hold. we are not talking about gangsters vying for positions in a traid organisations.
