The New York Times reported that Israel hid explosive material in the Taiwan-made Gold Apollo pagers before they were imported to Lebanon, citing American and other officials briefed on the operation. The material was implanted next to the battery with a switch that could be triggered remotely to detonate....
Washington said it was not involved in the explosions and did not know who was responsible. The US renewed calls for a diplomatic solution to tensions between Israel and Lebanon. CNA
This is another treacherous form of warfare that would kill and wound more civilians than military personnel. It is another war crime committed by the Israelis. And its equally liable accomplice, the Americans, voluntarily admitted that they are part of this crime, by denying knowledge of it. This is how the Americans operate, commit the crime and denying knowledge of everything, like the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the Ukraine War, and the escalation of tension in the South China Sea.
What is worrisome and troublesome, is that the pagers were made in Taiwan. Are the Taiwanese involved and to what extend? Taiwan is now dragged into this cruel and despicable act. Second, are other equipment like mobile phones made in Taiwan, Israel or western countries, like Apple, also be embedded with dangerous devices that could kill or maimed when the evil protagonists decided to activate it?
To employ such treacherous tactics, embedding explosives in consumer products, is like spiking food with poison. This is totally unacceptable and extremely dangerous to the safety of all people in the world. Only very evil and unscrupulous savages would use such cruel and inhuman tactics to kill and maim the innocent civilians, including women and children.
What is ICC or UN going to say about it?
While faking negotiation to halt hostilities, the Americans and Israelis are escalating the genocide without restraints.
PS. Taiwanese made products would be banned in the Middle East for good. The Taiwanese have been duped and implicated and compromised by the Israelis and Americans.

Is Taiwan innocent, did not know they were inserting explosive devices into the pager during manufacturing? Or they were implicit in the whole process?

Taiwan is so lucky to have the Americans as their friends. Taiwan's Gold Apollo has denied any connection, saying they had sold the rights to make the pagers to an European company called BAC.
But Taiwan's good friend America, New York Times, reported that the pagers were ordered from Gold Apollo, not from BAC. Thank you very much.
With friends like the Americans, who needs enemies?

By the way, China is 'suspending' exemptions on some 32 Taiwanese products. Could those exploding devices be among them?
