USA - the fading away Empire

How time has changed. The voice of the Americans is growing weaker, their circle of friends getting smaller and their power to pressure their allies and enemies slipping away. Since the time of Trump to the present, the only obsession of the Americans is China, China and China. Wherever and whenever the Americans made their presence, in regional forum, international gatherings, in bilateral meetings, the agenda is the same, smearing China, attacking China, coercing everyone to go against China. This antics of the bickering and warmongering Americans has become a drag and very painful in the ears of allies or countries that did not want to be part of this hostile and unproductive discussion with the Americans

Do the Americans have nothing else better to do, no better ideas than to badmouth China, stirring shits and fabricating lies and fake news everyday against China and accusing China of hostility and aggression? Do the Americans really believe the leaders and people of the world are blind and stupid and could not see who is the real troublemaker, the aggressor, the abuser, the provocateur for war and instability, the murderers of Arabs and Muslims and people from the developing world?

The world know who is the real villian, the warmonger and murderers of the innocents. The hands of the Americans, AngloSaxons and European powers are dripping with blood.

China is assertive, China is aggressive, for doing what? The Americans are friendly, nice, cooperative? Not aggressive, not coercive, not oppressive and manipulative in what they are doing everyday? This madness to want to run down China is getting so out of hand that no one would want to be talking to the Americans anymore, as their agenda would only consist of how to make an enemy of China and also Russia.

Countries of the world have many priorities and important matters in looking after their people and economic interests, to provide for their people to live well. No one has the energy or in the mood to want to go to war with China, to make an enemy of China, their number one trading partner and carries a bag of goodies to share with the rest of the world. Why would any country want to start a war, and in this case against China and cut off the largesse that China could provide, the economic and technological aid that they needed most, anything but war and wasting limited funds to spend on buying weapons to start a war.

The Americans still did not get it and could not see how irritating and unproductive they are in their agenda for war against China and Russia. They could not hear or see the messages from every country, including their allies and cronies, that no one is interested in making an enemy of China, let alone going to war with China that is contributing the growth of their economies.

Why would any country want to go to war, go to fight a war for the Americans, an American war with China? The Americans may have nothing better to do or thinking that war is a great party to keep themselves as the top dog of the world, but that has nothing to do with countries of the world, and if any, would keep them subservient to an aggressive and bullying American Empire.

Many countries are in fact privately celebrating and wishing that China could stop this evil American Empire, to prevent the Americans from bullying, harassing and oppressing them, threatening regime change and meddling with their domestic politics.

The Americans are so dull not to see how evil and wicked and unwelcome they are to the countries of the world. Every country wants to stay neutral in America's fight with China. It is none of their business. Every country secretly hope that it is time the Americans be held and kept away from interfering in their domestic affairs, be kept busy by another big power so that the Americans would have no time to mess around with countries all over the world.

Quietly and purposefully, every country is staying away from the Americans, not want to be seen with the Americans, except for a few lackeys and cronies, the number diminishing by the day. Every country now would be able to exercise their votes in the UN and regional or international organisations freely and in the interest of their respective countries. It is a new found independence and freedom from the evil American Empire. The Americans can continue to shout, no one is listening. The Americans may continue to charge, but no one will be running behind them. The American voice is getting dimmer, their evil cause, aggressiveness and warmongering have no followers...other than the 5 AngloSaxon has been powers and their semi colonies of Japan and South Korea.

Who cares and wants to be the barking dogs of the Americans when the Americans could not carry its stick to whack anyone at will anymore?  For there are China and Russia watching and can turn to for support and protection.

The Americans must be feeling more lonely by the day with friends and foes not wishing to be seen with them and to be roped in or coerced to be American pawns. You can't lie and cheat all the people all the time. You can't bully, threaten and oppress people all the time. It is game over soon for the Americans.

Today we are seeing the American begging to want to meet President Xi or Foreign Minister Wang Yi, just to show the world they could call the shot. Unfortunately the Chinese refused to see them. Nothing worth talking, and kept them waiting at the door. Who do the Americans think they are, that when they want to talk, want to visit Beijing, the Chinese must open the door to welcome them?

China would only talk to the Americans if the Americans behave like decent beans and on equal terms. No more wasting time talking about American agenda and on American terms.

No more white lies. American white men's culture is about spreading lies. And here is Kayleigh McEnany, Trump's spokeswoman caught telling white lies in Fox News.

Yahoo News

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany apparently decided the best way to defend America’s Founding Fathers was to lie about them.

McEnany was part of an all-white panel on Fox News Tuesday morning discussing Rep. Cori Bush’s (D-Mo.) July Fourth tweet, where she said that Black people are still not free in America.

When they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they’re referring to is for white people.

This land is stolen land and Black people still aren’t free.

— Cori Bush (@CoriBush) July 4, 2021

All members of the panel were miffed by Bush’s tweet, but none more than McEnany.

“The haters never take a day off from hating, that is clear,” McEnany said. “And they never take a day off from getting the facts wrong. We know most of our forefathers, all of our main Founding Fathers, were against slavery, recognized the evils of it.”

To be clear: McEnany is wrong. Though there isn’t a consensus on the exact number of Founding Fathers who owned enslaved people, historians have said the majority of men at the signing of the Declaration of Independence were slaveowners.

In response to McEnany’s claim, misinformation nonprofit Media Matters For America pointed out that George Washington enslaved hundreds of people, Thomas Jefferson enslaved more than 600 people, and James Madison enslaved over 100 people.

West Bullshit - African Envoys

Ambassadors and diplomats of African countries in Beijing on Tuesday share their stories of visiting Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and their understanding of the poverty alleviation achievements in the region, criticizing some Western countries and the US for hyping untenable accusations against Xinjiang and even escalating their smears to so-called "genocide" in an attempt to thwart China's development.

Four ambassadors and diplomats from Guinea-Bissau, Zimbabwe, the African Union and Namibia attended the 9th Ambassador Lecture themed "Poverty Alleviation Achievements of Xinjiang in the Eyes of African Ambassadors to China".

Guinea-Bissau Ambassador Antonio Serifo Embalo to China said he visited many cities in Xinjiang in May, including Urumqi, Aksu Prefecture and Kashi Prefecture and talked to villagers to learn their views on the relations of ethnic groups.

Xinjiang's problems are not what the West said on human rights or religion, or relations of ethnic groups. They are about fighting terrorism and extremism. Since 1990, the region had suffered from several thousands of violent incidents, and religious extremists and overseas separatists trying to split the region from China are behind these attacks, the ambassador said.

Embalo also talked about the inflammatory topic of "forced labor" in cotton-related industries in Xinjiang, saying that the hype is untenable as he has learned from his visit the high mechanization rate in cotton planting and harvesting. Local governments' subsidiaries helped increase the purchase of machines.

"Some developed countries criticized China for using forced labor in the cotton industry, which is not true and is not what we saw in Xinjiang. When we left Xinjiang, we believe that the only fight in Xinjiang is the government's battle against extremists planted by overseas separatists in the region," said the ambassador.

The cotton and PV industries in China's Xinjiang are successful and the US, and the West's attack under the banner of human rights would deprive local residents of the opportunity to improve their income and live better lives, Zimbabwe Ambassador Martin Chedondo said.

These countries' double standards on human rights are clear and in facing their criticism of China on these issues, Zimbabwe has stood firmly with China, Chedondo said, noting that his country signed the joint statement supporting China's stance on Xinjiang and Hong Kong related issues at the 47th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

More than 90 countries expressed their support to China amid the US and a small group of countries' efforts to hype Xinjiang and Hong Kong related topics at the UN Human Rights Council.

Simon Indongo, First Secretary of the Namibia Embassy to China, said that those who did not conduct investigations have no say. The developments in China's Xinjiang have been witnessed by people that have visited it.

Aside from criticizing the US and Western countries for using human rights to attack China and other developing countries, African diplomats also expressed support to China.

African countries and developing countries will work together to support China at the UN Human Rights Council, to use the mechanism the West uses on the same platform to beat them. This is our solidarity and this is our way, said Osman.

The red-hot U.S. economy cools off, ISM finds, because of major shortages and not enough workers

Big picture: The economy is booming after more than a year of being depressed by a global pandemic. The problem is the rush of pentup demand has overwhelmed the ability of companies to keep up.

There are still lingering disruptions in the flow of goods and services within the U.S. and throughout the world economy. And millions of people still haven’t returned to work, making it all but impossible for companies to fill a record number of open jobs.

These problems are expected to persist through the end of the summer and contribute to the highest burst of inflation since 2008.

Going big and going early works: Why this US economic recovery is putting 2009’s to shame

It may upset partisans who want to give no credit to this administration — or the previous one — but this reopening is validating the past year’s policy experiment of being bolder, more generous and quicker during a crisis.

The early successes of this recovery stem from how both Congress and the Federal Reserve, our nation’s central bank, tackled the pandemic recession using a new approach: go early and go big on policy support. As the economy shut down, policymakers bucked some conventional wisdom and entrusted households and businesses with cash support that had few strings attached. Congress passed stimulus measures with the general mantra that the cost of doing too little was greater than potentially doing a bit much.

Yes, everything about China is wrong in the eyes of the Whites. If China had been a human being itself, a little fatter and they will accuse China of consuming too much of world food production, and if China tried being thin, they will accuse China of hoarding food. Yes, the Whites have nothing else to do but observing China, warts and all.

What issues have they brought up against China have stood the test of time? Slave labour accusations against Xinjiang obviously failed, so they are now accusing companies for profiting from it, all still intent on targeting companies from using Xinjiang cotton. What about Apple and other big USA corporations that had profited for decades from what they had been accusing China of using Chinese slave labour? What about Trump's daughter and Biden's son doing business with China producing products using slave labour? Too big to touch?

That is why the USA is slipping into obscurity and not trying to be better and compete on the level. Instead they want to stay ahead by pulling down any country that is moving ahead of them, to their pathetic level. Japan was in the same ascending situation as China four decades ago and about to take do better than the USA, but being an obedient dog, could do nothing but let their country be delegated to continually playing second fiddle to the USA, and now third fiddle with the rise of China.

The Americans are lying to their people by trying to talk up their faltering economy with fake data and also printing money and more money.

They not just are talking up, their improving economy is all brought about by their fiat money printing press, and those money were then thrown from the air by helicopter, all started by 'Helicopter Ben'. Beijing July 05

Six Chinese ministries jointly issued a guideline over the weekend saying that by 2025, China aims to develop 10,000 "little giant" enterprises that specialize in niche sectors and 1,000 enterprises that are champions in a single industry, as well as groups of leading companies.

Industry observers said that the guideline underscores China's strategic policy shift in the next five years to focus on breakthroughs in specific and critical sectors and supply chains where the country may be vulnerable amid a spiraling technology war between the world's two largest economies.

Preserving a large, complete domestic manufacturing sector could remain a key in the overall blueprint, but China will also widen its effort in building homegrown "hidden champions" - small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that dominate major markets in niche sectors - to close gaps with the likes of the US, Japan and Germany in advanced manufacturing.

Among the six ministries were the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Commerce.

They proposed setting up a work mechanism to guide specialized SMEs to grow into "small giant" companies in key sectors of the domestic market and champions in the international market.

Large groups will also be guided to become globally competitive leaders. Such a "gradient pattern" in manufacturing is expected to be formed by 2025.

Other measures in the guideline involve improving the capacity for independent innovation, facilitating the modernization of industry and supply chains, and improving financing and talent building policies.

An MIIT official said that this effort is necessary to stimulate the vitality of market entities and promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing sector. It will also prevent risks and improve the self-sufficiency of industry and supply chains.

"This is a lesson that we learned from the US' crackdown against China's technology rise. In the 13th Five-year Plan (2016-20) period, we prioritized market scale and industry output, but the heated technology war between China and the US exposed the risks of lacking 'hidden champions' in bottlenecked industries," said Tian Yun, vice director of the Beijing Economic Operation Association.

Analysts said that the "hidden champions" - exemplified by the Netherlands-based lithography equipment maker ASML - are of strategic importance to the new round of global manufacturing competition.

"China accumulated rich experience in developing industry titans like Huawei in the past. Now we need to switch the policy emphasis to climb up the manufacturing ladder in the 14th Five-year Plan period (2021-25)," Tian said.

Hu Qimu, chief research fellow at the Sinosteel Economic Research Institute, said on Monday that China's complete industry chain, plus a systemic advantage and abundant talent supply, could aid the country in an all-out sprint to narrow gaps with the likes of US and Europe.

China is now the world's largest manufacturer, with industrial value-added reaching 31.3 trillion yuan in 2020. It is also the world's only economy to have all industrial categories listed by the UN, according to media reports.

USA's improving economy is all about improving money printing, not making things for export, maybe only in military hardware. Wars are harder to come by, so creating friction among countries is the new US economy to generate weapons sale. Other than that, stealing oil from other countries like Iraq and Syria has been mission accomplished. Right now, the USA has large green eyes on Venezuela, which has the largest oil reserves in the world, even more than Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela is the target of regime change for the USA, so that they can exert control over the oil. Pompeo said it outright and without shame that the USA is going to steal Venezuela's oil reserves.

China's improving economy is all largely about manufacturing consumer things for export beside infrastructure developments. That goes for other countries like Japan and South Korea among others.

Do not rule out Uncle Sam yet. There are still quite a number of countries willing to do their bidding. Aultralia has always been and will always be happy licking his boots even to hurting it's own economy. New lapdogs on leash just in Asia, Japan and Taiwan. The recent intl survey on developed countries shows all except Singapore have a favorable view of US over China.

China still has someway to go before, as Wooden says, gaining trust of the intl community.

The power of American media.

China has not invaded any country or conduct regime change, nor at war with any country, needs to gain trust.

The Americans have been conducting regime change, conducting wars, fabricating lies to provoke wars, killing Arabs and Muslims non stop, everyday, do not need to gain trust, and can lie and lie and lie.

Who are the stupid ones? Who are the suckers that have swallowed American lies, line, hook an sinkers, that the Americans can be trusted, China cannot because the American liars said so?

The so-called trust that many countries have in USA should not be seen as voluntary trust. They were coerce or arm twisted to side with USA because they were forced to choose sides under the 'you are either with us or against us'. When and if the USA falls, do you still think the monkeys will still remain on the tree?

Differentiation still needed for Sinovac Covid-19 jab recipients, may be removed as more are vaccinated

People who received the Sinovac Covid-19 jab continue to be excluded from vaccination perks like testing exemptions as there is insufficient data to show how effective the Chinese vaccine is against the Delta strain, said Health Minister Ong Ye Kung.

Mr Ong said there must also be a differentiation between those who received the Sinovac jab and who took the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna mRNA vaccines under the national vaccination programme, when Singapore hits the milestone of having half of its population fully vaccinated.

Taking mRNA vaccines after getting Sinovac

Those who have taken the Sinovac vaccine or other types of vaccines and still wish to take the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines can also register to do so, though data on the efficacy of using two different vaccines is still lacking.

Such people could have taken the Sinovac vaccines locally or received a dose or doses of a different vaccine elsewhere before returning to Singapore, said Singapore's director of medical services Kenneth Mak.

"There are some theoretical benefits that may suggest that they would get good results. But there isn't much real world data available to confirm this," noted Associate Professor Mak.

A United Arab Emirates national became the first person travelling under the Phuket Sandbox scheme to test positive for Covid-19.

Phuket authorities reported on Wednesday that he was one of the 2, 113 people who have landed on the island since July 1. He tested positive upon arrival and was taken to a local hospital.

The authorities did not reveal the traveller's date of arrival but said others on the same flight were put under quarantine.

As per the sandbox scheme, tourists who can verify they are fully inoculated against Covid-19 and test negative can fly into Phuket and move around freely in the province without having to quarantine.

Two thing are certain. The COVID19 virus will not go away. The world would have to change radically in doing things. One mistake and a super virus comes out making vaccines useless.

Right now, the highly touted 97% or so effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine is said to be just about 65% effective against the Delta strain. Can man outsmart the virus? Think about it.

Pfizer is cornering the market by blocking out Chinese vaccines.

With the monopoly, they just doubled the price to US$23 per dose and recommending booster jabs after two doses and then annually.

See how many billions are flowing into their coffers. Hopefully the new price hike would kill its greedy ambition and forced poorer countries to go for cheaper Chinese vaccines.

AstraZeneca and John and Johnson are now history.

Anonymous said...

Another new more virulent strain will kill off Pfizer's advantage in effectiveness.

Booster jabs annually could morph into half yearly, to quarterly if new variants take it's toll. Maybe like administering other drugs like insulin, to almost daily. That is why when people do not die from infection after vaccination, they remain to support Big Pharma, like supporting the USA Military Establishment, which is the perfect scenario for Pfizer laughing all the way to the bank every day. Vaccine weaponisation? Never say never!
