Tokyo reported at
least 1,979 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, 22 July 2021, as the
Olympic Games are just ONE day out from its official start.
The jump in new cases is the Japanese capital Tokyo's highest increase in new cases since January 15.
The
number of Covid-19 cases in Japan linked to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic
Games has risen to 91, according to Tokyo 2020 organizers Thursday.
Nine
of the 91 cases reported were residents of the Olympic Village, five of
whom are athletes and four are "Games-related personnel."
The
capital is currently under a coronavirus state of emergency — set to
expire on August 22 — while the Tokyo 2020 Games are set to officially
begin on Friday.
It is a clear sign of being stupid and stubborn
to go ahead with the Olympics, when the COVID-19 Pandemic is still
rampaging across the Whole World.

The Japanese are a very proud and arrogant people. Yhough outwardly they can behave very polite and with good manners, they can also be shameless and crude.
If you know what the Japanese did in China and Korea and in SE Asia during their vicious invasion in WW2, you will see a very different Japanese from the polite and bowing Japanese. They are evil to the core.
As tail waggers they have no choice. They deny being under pressure to hold the games, but we know denial is in their vocabulary all the time.

While Chinese leaders are getting better in quality and performance, it seems most democratic countries have leaders that are just unbelievable.
Take the USA. We thought George Bush was loony, claiming he talked directly to God, who directed him to start the war in Iraq, based on fake intelligence. Then they had glib tongue Obama, who together with Biden, started more wars than any other POTUS.
Then Trump came and destroyed reality and promoted make believe. He told the USA people trade wars are easy to win, claimed that China will pay for the tariffs. The fact is everything goes up in price for consumers in the USA because of those tariffs he imposed on Chinese imports. He also claimed Mexico will pay for the wall. How did those turn out?
Now the USA has someone who is clearly a dementia patient running the show. In between answering difficult questions, he had to wait for prompters from his handlers, gives unrelated answers, stammers and forgets lines and events. He may press the wrong button one day, thinking it is the light switch, and all will be ashes to ashes and dust to dust.

Tommy Koh, in his Facebook post, asked Government to punish those who have not been vaccinated.

He totally discount the high probability of long-term effects of the vaccines.
He does not know that the vaccines only last 3 to 6 months.

All the talk about herd immunity is a fallacy. If fully vaccinated people still get infected, what herd immunity are they talking about? It is all a lie which is going to fall flat.
We shall see what kind of immunity the UK has, knowing they were the first country to start vaccinating it's citizens. And they are letting their hairs down with celebrating full opening, without mask and holding mass participation events without distancing.
India is also said to have reached herd immunity by a different route, with 68% of it's population said to have been infected rather then by vaccination. This two will be interesting to watch.
Take a note also of the narrative which has also changed from vaccination to protect to vaccination to prevent less complications if you are vaccinated. What else is in the pipeline? Oh yes, there was this one claiming that spacing the duration of the jabs gives better protection. I just do not know who to believe.

Yes, most of the research data and agendas of the mRNA vaccines were presented by the vaccines producers, i.e. Pfizer, BioNtech, Modena, etc.
The so-called experts from various countries did not do in-depth and pro-longed research themselves. Whatever they say or conclude are based on the data provided by the vaccines producers. Therefore, they will have to say the same things as the vaccines producers.
Even the various government authorities follow what the vaccines producers say.
So, all the talks about how good the mRNA vaccines are, are actually a huge conspiracy - a big scam.
It has been reported that some countries are throwing away vaccines because people are staying away from being vaccinated. I thought vaccines are in short supply or just created short supply.
So you see, the herd immunity mantra did cause many Government wanting to open up to rush and order vaccines in the hope of vaccinating their whole country to reach the herd immunity threshold. But they never count on the fact that those fully vaccinated are still getting infected and this really burst the herd immunity balloon.
Now there is a new angle being introduced and that is that vaccination will make infections less serious, and not about preventing infections any more as we assumed all along. In other words infections will remain so long as the virus is around. And how long the virus will be around is anybody's guess. And that ultimately means booster after booster shots will be needed. See how they have changed the narrative, and will make more money and still cover their arse hole?

New York Times had done a ranking and confirmed that the 4 safest vaccines are Sinopharm, Sinovac, Kexing and CanSino in that order of merit.
Astrazeneca was ranked 5, Pfizer 6 and Moderna 7, John and Johnson 8, Novavax 9, Satellite 5(Russian) 10.
Can you imagine that the govt accorded priority for Pfizer that is more dangerous than all the Chinese vaccines, even more unsafe than Astrazeneca?
Wait, wait, Astrazeneca has been banned in many European countries, and not used in the USA, but safer than Pfizer? What is going on? Is this preference for Pfizer based on objective criteria or something else?
If Astrazeneca is banned, and Pfizer is more unsafe than Astrazeneca, why is Pfizer not banned?

With due respect, I believe that Tommy Koh has become stupid but still thinks of himself as though he is clever as before.
He has also become careless and shoddy in his arguments and presentation of facts to support his arguments.
By neglecting to consider, or deliberately omitting, the other known facts, he shows his bias in favour of the government. This is, of course, understandable because the government paid to support his status and lifestyle throughout his entire life.
When asked about the MMTF's determination to return to normalcy, and make Singaporeans live with COVID-19, the newbie Health Minister said:
“The answer is a definite yes. For that is the only way for Singaporeans to regain our lives and livelihoods, and for Singapore to reconnect with the world again.”
They have to go this way because they know that the vaccines are not effective in preventing infection. And they have no idea on what to do next, and would not use Chinese vaccines and no other vaccine is available.
What choice left but to live with the infection.
