While
the Delta variant is fast fueling the rise of new Covid cases across
the globe, Singapore leaders want to stop counting Covid cases. The idea
is like what Donald Trump has said when he was the US President: "Less
counting means less cases reported." Therefore, logically, no counting
means no cases reported. So, everything is just fine!
But that
doesn't mean there are no cases of infections on the ground. It simply
means that the cases have gone underground! Hidden. This ostrich
mentality idea may just become the model for the rest of the world to
follow. Brilliant!
The central idea is:
Say no evil, hear no evil; think no evil and everything will be just fine!
As
countries around the world tighten restrictions once again to curb
potential outbreaks of the Delta coronavirus variant, Singapore's super
smart leaders are once again trying to outsmart the coronavirus by doing
something other wise men fear to thread. Something unthinkable.
Something only top notch scholars can phantom - a new vision, a new
hope, for life to return to normal again (or abnormal again?).
The roadmap, proposed by three members of the Singapore's Covid-19 Tasked & Forced Team is basically:
1. No lockdowns
2. No mass contact tracing
3. No quarantine
4. Free travel
5. Resumption of large gatherings
6. Stop counting the daily Covid cases.
The
proposal has been so cleverly thought out that no other radicals and
innovative minds in the world could have done so. Praise the Lord!
Hallelujah!
It is a total reversal of the so-called "Zero
Transmission" model. This is a "Maximum Transmission" model. It will
definitely bring the economy back to life again. This is good news. All
other countries that are desperate for their economy to return back to
life must follow this Super-Smart Singaporean model to outsmart the
COVID-19 coronavirus. Whether Type Delta or Type Zulu, this Siper-Smart
Maximum Transmission model can take all-comers. Never mind the number of
casualties. Just don't report them. Nobody will be the wiser. So
wonderful! Praise the Lord again!
Sure can win the Nobel Prize
one! Why nobody ever think of it? The world must be in dire need of the
kind of talents Singapore has. No wonder Singapore Ministers paid
themselves out of this world salary!

The Only Data We Should Trust Is Raw Data
In this surreal environment, the only data we should trust is the raw data itself, ie, data of individual cases.
Collated data like graphs, percentages, or snippets like “20 out of 23 are unvaccinated” should be taken skeptically because they can be manipulated to present only one side of a story to support an agenda.
However, raw data like the details of community cases published every night on MOH’s website since the pandemic began, presents only the facts, period.
They include the sex of the person, age, occupation, when he or she fell ill, who is the infection linked to or unlinked and most importantly, whether the person is vaccinated or not vaccinated.
Based on the details since 1 May 2021, I have classified and tabulated the cases by vaccination status and have found that the effectiveness of the vaccine to be around 0%, and have shared it with many people.
Obviously, this is an inconvenient truth to any authority which wants to vaccinate the population, to put it mildly, and perhaps the reason for the unfathomable decision to stop publishing the raw data henceforth.
So, I will not be able to update and share the effectiveness, or rather, the lack of effectiveness, of the vaccine. Instead, it will only be the one-sided story from the government, which we should all be wary of, after all, why would it withhold information if it has nothing to hide?
We trust authorities, especially governments, at our own peril.

Singapore: Too Many Cooks Spoil The Soup, Too Many Scholars Screw Up Your Life
The problem with having too many scholars to run the country is that they are bound to screw up your life good and proper. They are so good at screwing up your life that you don't even know until it is too late. By then, most of them would have been transferred from one position to another, after getting rewarded for a job well-done and promoted.
Over the long years of their academic excellence, they have developed the art of twisting, turning and deceiving that you simply don't know whether they are telling the truth or lying. That's how they scored their A's and First Class Honours.
Deception has become such a fine art that you can't even accuse them of lying. To show you what I mean, I will illustrate with some of their methods.
Some modus operandi:
1. They messed up the raw data by grouping them together, eg foreigners dump together with Citizens as Residents. In this way, you cannot pin point and differentiate how many are foreigners and how many are citizens.
2. They trivialise important information and make them become unimportant, eg long-term effects of the vaccines are brushed aside as insignificant. In this way you are thrown off-guard and failed to consider the potential harms that the vaccines will have upon your health and your life.
3. They attribute possible and probable causes of death due to or as a result of the coronavirus to other causes such as heart failure due to existing health conditions. In this way, the number of deaths caused by the Covid19 coronavirus is greatly reduced, giving a false impression that the situation is under control.
4. They break the daily reporting of the COVID-19 Pandemic situation into two parts, once at noon and once in the evening. In this way, your knowledge of the real situation is delayed and any severity of the situation is cushioned.
5. They reduce the number of manpower required to analyse the test samples in the lab. This resulted in coping problems. As such results of tests are postponed and disseminated in batches, two to seven days later. In this way, the numbers of infections per day are spread and stretched out over a long period of time, thereby reducing the severity of the impact.
6. They totally embargoed the information available and do not give access to the public vital information that may cause alarm and panic. They do this by classifying information into Top Secret, Secret, Confidential, Restricted and Unclassified. Only the last category of information can be divulged to the public.
Lesson Learnt:
Never put scholars as leaders at all costs.
In the old days, scholars were used as advisers, never leaders, no matter how smart they were. That is wisdom.
Did they learn everything Trump taught them? Or was it Modi?
With their inability to think, and got no ideas, this is the best you can expect them to do. Follow the dumb Trump is still better than nothing.

Singapore is making plans to stop counting its daily Covid-19 cases in a roadmap to resuming normal life by treating the virus like any other endemic disease.
In a nod to the public's “battle weariness” after 18 months of maintaining a low Covid strategy, three leading members of Singapore’s Covid-19 taskforce have proposed a “roadmap” to return to quarantine-free travel, large gatherings and to end the tally of daily cases.
“Instead of monitoring Covid-19 infection numbers every day, we will focus on the outcomes: how many fall very sick, how many in the intensive care unit, how many need to be intubated for oxygen, and so on. This is like how we now monitor influenza,” wrote the trade, finance and health ministers in a joint op-ed in the Straits Times.
“We can't eradicate it, but we can turn the pandemic into something much less threatening, like influenza, hand, foot and mouth disease, or chickenpox, and get on with our lives.”
The blueprint is a radical change of course from the so-called “Zero Covid” strategy adopted by Asia-Pacific countries like New Zealand and Taiwan, or rival business hubs like Hong Kong.
That means after the 4G implement their strategy and the new COVID-19 cases daily hit say 10,000 per day also don't report, only report those that're hospitalized . . like that, older Singaporeans who are not vaccinated for whatever reasons will be living in fear.

Therefore, it required constant evaluation and careful adjustment of the public health response.
