More housing projects - One trick millionaire pony's solution

The above pic from ST is the story of one trick pony, build more housing for more people, for more economic growth from more consumption. This is how brilliant the millionaires are, ignoring the consequences of overcrowding in a little piece of rock that on one day they said there is land scarcity and on the next day they want to build more and more and denying working towards 10m population while the import of foreigners continues not stop. There is no need to pay millions for this kind of thinking or unthinking. No wonder some have so much free time to do ECAs or talking about dogs and cats.

It is not rocket science to know what would happen in a crisis with so many people crammed in a little piece of rock without self sufficiency in food, water and energy. It is like pumping a hot air balloon and hoping that it would not go bust but knowing that it would as a matter of time. This is recklessness!

The building of more housing and importing of more heads to consume more as the main factor for economic growth is simply stupidity. Period. Primary school kids could also come up with such a solution. This dangerous and reckless policy must stop immediately. Economic growth must come from other ways and not an easy way out that would lead to intractable problems that would create a bigger and unmanageable crisis when it hits.

Anyone responsible for crisis management of such a small piece of rock must be having nightmares looking at what would happen should there be an economic crisis or a pandemic of any sort domestically or internationally. The impact on the island and people would be critical. It would become an existential problem and the remedies would be very painful for the people.

Singaporeans must speak up against this silly population pumping policy to strain every little land available in the island and every little resources just to give the impression of growth. The cost is too high and unacceptable when the day comes.

Built, built, built, then fill them up with people. Not enough people, import, import, import. Anyone bother to ask why?

Nowadays it's fashionable in the local and foreign media to state that Singapore is a nation of 5.7 million people. Since when are we 5.7 million? That's according to the PAP elites' narrative and their propaganda of the number.

Singapore is a country of just 3.4 million citizens. The rest are all aliens.

The right thing to do is to revert Singapore back to Malaysia.

The little people who want to be Kings must not be accepted as good leaders who really care for their fellow citizens. They are actually fly-by-night, get-rich-quick, self-centred, unscrupulous wolves in white sheep skin.

In the long run, Singapore cannot survive on its own. The false meteoric rise was just a stroke of luck, not by design or planning. It just happened that Singapore was at the right time and right place, after the 2nd World War, to tap upon the global peace, progress and prosperity like any other city in Asia

The present group of happy-go-lucky, silver-plated and golden-spoons, incubated and insulated leaders simply do not have the expertise nor talent to move Singapore forward and give their fellow Singaporeans collectively a better life with depending on essy-peezy one-size-fit-all type of solutions created by the 2nd generation of leaders led by the Seat-Warmer Wooden Head.

Reverting back to Malaysia will allow Singaporeans to enjoy a bigger market and bigger space, and a choice to settle down in a place that is not so expensive and hectic.

As it is now, Singapore has become a pressure cooker waiting to explode. If is only a matter of time.

Time is not on our side. Unless we join back Malaysia, for the long-term good.

'Unless we join back Malaysia, for the long term good' unquote

But the problem is, it is not us that wanted to leave Malaysia. We were kicked out. Would they now want us back? Particularly the Bumis? I think not!

Investing in brick and mortar is good money for the Government, with bidding for more land. Like the COE for motor vehicles, what is more profitable than just issuing a piece of paper? We use to tell the Mats why do they bother to assemble 'Potong cars' and losing money all the time? For ego boosting?

Sinkies better be prepared for short term lease of flats for 30 to 60 years, like elderly flats, and then paying COE's like cars to renew their lease.

On one hand, data says newborn rate are decreasing every year and last year was the lowest on record. On the other hand, more natural lands are to be cleared for housing.
Something just doesn't sit quite right unless its being done to cater to potential new citizens and PRs too.

It is not unless but apparently clear to cater for the present target of 6.9 million, mostly new citizens.

Slowly, like retirement age, 6.9 million is just only a moving target.

They say now don't spent the nation's reserves on welfare of current citizens but preserve the reserves for future generations. That's future generations of new citizens and their children! Future new citizens are salivating.

'Built, built, built, then fill them up with people. Not enough people, import, import, import. Anyone bother to ask why?'

The above message tells something is not right...if one thinks carefully, the root cause is due to SomeBoli coming out with a sick mind that runs out of solutions, this one is unfit for leading but still overstayed to hv a power gripe & awaiting opportune time for a seat warmer to passed to heir & do more sicko stuffs to next gens..

Sai Jui water not sure can work or not. Black mambas thrive in Sai Jui water. They bathe in the Sai Jui water called the Ganga, full of floating corpse that even virus avoid.

@Anon 1.58pm

For if they thrive under Sai Jui water they might not be able to withstand blood sucking for long term by the Globblement with their Cotton Comes From Shits policies every now n then changing of goal posts faster than ther flipping pratas...most will likely give up or leave.

Hello. Today is World Water Day. Be very grateful of what Mother Earth is giving us now. Without this previous water, mankind cannot survive on. Chinese saying 饮水思源 or when you drink water think of its source. Whether Sai Jui water, Longkou jui water, recycle water etc. all r water, so be very grateful.

WHAT is wrong in building more housing for Singaporeans????? It is good business and also more money for the country's coffer. With more FTs coming to Singapore, there must be enough housing for these talented imports. Singaporeans too benefit from these FTs because they are here to upgrade Singaporeans. Singapore needs foreign talents to build a first world country.

Earlier batches of new citizens before 1997 were quite tamed and would not voted for changes. However, nowadays the new citizens brought in are not so tamed and are very demanding. Many makes complaints of Government agencies. Recently, sport halls were accused of giving preference to companies booking badminton courts. As many local Singaporeans don't be bordered, only these cheapskate former foreigners mind this. Given times it may backfires on the current government. Social medias, would accelerated the process.Akan Datang.

Covid-19: Singapore again deliberately and willfully imported 12 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday (March 22).

All 12 cases had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore but not quarantined. Therefore, the probability of them spreading the virus to others is reasonably high.

There is no effort spent to proactively detect new locally transmissions of the disease. Therefore, there is no report available for locally transmitted cases, which are probably still lurking everywhere in Singapore.

SINGAPORE: The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) said on Monday (Mar 22) it has started reviewing data on China's Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine.

It has also asked the biopharmaceutical company for additional data and is waiting for it, said HSA.

Why take so long? Short of staff? Short of expertise? Lack of urgency? Sleeping on the job? Playing politics? Snubbed by China?

Most probably the Authority has no authority to decide which vaccine to review, study, investigate and approve.

Alternatively, these so called experts have been living an easy and comfortable life for a very long time. Despite the COVID-19 Pandemic lasting so long, their old habits die hard. Therefore, probably they are so inclined to take their own sweet time with no sense of urgency whatsoever.

Thirdly, perhaps these "specialists" have been, over the years, accustomed to the culture of pleasing the Big Boss, the most powerful Millionaires Paymaster in the World.

Russia Blasts U.S. for Pressing Brazil to Reject Its Vaccine

Russia condemned the U.S. for applying diplomatic pressure on Brazil to reject its Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine, adding that attempts at political meddling in inoculation campaigns were costing lives.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said in its annual report published in January that its Office of Global Affairs sought to persuade Brazil not to allow the Russian vaccine, accusing Moscow of seeking to expand its influence in the Americas to the “detriment of U.S. safety and security.”

It's no surprise that the US government had used diplomatic coercion to pressure countries not to allow Chinese vaccines as well.

Real talents coming in is not a problem. But FT or 'fake talents' with dubious qualifications from dubious universities taking over 'skill sensitive jobs' is a recipe for disaster.

All day and night they have been doing hard sell on MSM for the Astrazeneca vaccine, trotting out the 79% and 100% figure to confuse and convert. As if one figure for effectiveness is not enough, soon they will come out with different figures for different age groups.
