Janil Puthuchery - The most talented minister

I thought I saw Janil making a presentation on Climate Change in CNA. Indeed it was him. And he did a very good job as a TV presenter. He must have put in a lot of effort and time into the programme.

Janil is not only a minister, but also a doctor and now a TV presenter. What other hidden talent has he got, still hidden and not known to the public?

I hope CNA will make up to him for his good show with a good pay or gratuity. He can't be putting so much time and effort for nothing when he has a very heavy load as a minister. And CNA must not forget to compensate the govt for his time and make good the equivalent of his minister pay on a pro rata basis. This is only fair. His time is very expensive.

Janil must be the most talented catch by the PAP. With a loud hailer in hand, he could even be the super salesman in Chinatown if he wanted to. Let's see who else would show his or her untapped talent on TV or whatever acts they could put up with to share their talents with the people. Sure the people would want to see a different side or aspect of the MPs and Ministers and be impressed. I am definitely very impressed with Janil's performance as a TV presenter.

Looks like all the available talents in Singapore is with the PAP. No wonder they are being paid in the millions or nearly there for the non ministers. OK, I stand corrected in case I have insulted some for earning less than $500k and fall into the mediocre category. I think many MPs are also millionaires in their own rights. Think of the number of directorships they are holding. Ok, count the opposition MPs out on this.

In summary, I think all of them are getting more than $500k in total annual income and surely cannot be in the mediocre or average level of people.

Good show, multi talented super talents of Singapore. Would there be any magicians among them?

The most talented MPs also know how not to serve National Service.

This is one talent that makes those MPs and Ministers who have served the Nation's Foremost Service, the National Service to defend the country, look not only like mediocres but also look like suckers!

Ah Heng's position is in jeopardy come next GE. He must move to Teck Ghee where support for PAP is now hardcore and tops.

There are not only magicians amongst them. There are also very talented wizards and witches, as well as witch-hunters.

Even if some of them are not paid the minimum of $500,0000 per year, they can easily conjure up much more rewards with a sledge of hands, magical spells and propped-up illusions.

That's why the whole gang is so happy and laughing aall the way to their banks everyday. Not only laughing at the good fortune they have but also laughing at you and me, as well as laughing at the 61% of suckers.

"Ah Heng's position is in jeopardy come next GE. He must move to Teck Ghee where support for PAP is now hardcore and tops."

Ah Heng has been moved around like a rolling stone. A rolling stone gathers no moss. That's why he shines so well, for the wrong reasons.

One peanut is the very minimum. I think most are well above that.

Being branded mediocre or suckers does not matter, so long as the pocket feels good and they can see the bulge.

How rich they are can only be gauged from the comments of the one that said 'looking at my CPF statement I feel so rich'. That says it all.

ST, Jan 25:

[ Dr Janil, meanwhile, noted that many surveys and studies show that race still matters to Singaporeans.

He said he wished it was not so, adding: "I do hope that our racial harmony progresses to the point where when people talk about a non-Chinese prime minister, it's not about an icon of resetting or an icon of re-imagining, as in the question that was put up on the screen, but on the basis of that person's ability to do the job.

"And that will be for Singaporeans to decide." ]

Now he showcasing on CNA?

Dr Janil's Narrow, Myopic, Technocratic Concept Of What A Prime Minister Should Be

From what Dr Janil, one who has failed to serve in the National Service, has said, we can easily perceive that he is aspiring to be the next Prime Minister of Singapore. He seems to be very ambitious!

By the way, his premise that people should select the Prime Minister "on the basis of that person's ability to do the job" is a very narrow, myopic, technocratic idea of a low-level leadership.

The Prime Minister cannot and must not be selected just because he has the ability to do the job.

First of all, the Prime Minister in the Singapore context is the most powerful person in the country, even more powerful than the President of the Republic of Singapore, who acts only on the "ADVICE" of the Prime Minister and the "ADVICE" of the Presidential Advisory Council whose members are selected and appointed by the Prime Minister. Therefore, the Prime Minister's position, at the pinnacle of power, is not just a "Job"!

Secondly, the Prime Minister of Singapore is also the Secretary-General of the ruling political party. He commands and controls the whole political party's inner circle, the members, as well as the grassroot organizations. Therefore, he has to command the respect of his own political party and be elected to be the Secretary-General of the Party. Which means that he must also have the political clout and political acumen necessary to command the respect of the majority at the Party level as well as at the National level.

Thirdly, the PM of Singapore has to deal with foreign Heads of State and Dignitaries of the Superpowers and much bigger countries on a regular basis. That means he has to has a certain degree and level of diplomatic skills and exposures before he could lead the country effectively at the international level.

There are many more qualities that are required of the Prime Minister. Suffice now to just mention the three most critical ones above.

Think deeper.

He did not serve national service, as he became a Singapore citizen at the age of 35.

The paediatrician said he has been in public service: 'I've spent the last 10 years saving kids' lives.'

Clever! Too clever!

Between Tharman and Janil, who fits the bill better?

Balakrishnan can also.

There are now too many, proportionally speaking, Indians holding key, powerful and critical positions in the Singapore government, banking, legal professions, information technology professions and the police force. Too good to be true. Too close for comfort?

The condition seems to be ripe for the Indian minority race of only 7% (grew from 3%) of the Singapore population to take hold of the controlling power in Singapore. Not if, but when. It is only a matter of time.

However, owing to the large number of Chinese Singaporeans (70%, decreased from 75%), and the rising power and influence of China, the Indian Singaporeans know that they stand very little chance of grabbing the pinnacle of power in Singapore on their own strength. Therefore, they need external help. However, Singapore laws do not permit foreign interference and support in Singapore's internal political affairs. Therefore, the only way to get foreign help is to convert foreigners to Singapore citizens.

We now have a few of such converts holding the positions of control and power in the banking sector, in the legal sector, in the security sector, in the Parliament and soon, in the Temasek Holidays Holdings.

Moreover, one such Convert has infiltrated into the PAP inner circus and the pa-lee-ment, probably positioning himself to become the Prince of Power in the not too distant future.

The dark heinous unseen hand from afar has successfully infiltrated a few of its Princes of Darkness into various critical positions in Singapore already.

Once its critical mass is reached, it will be too late for the Bananas and the Chinkies to wake up from their euphoric and orgasmic slumber.

In Malaysia, the Chinese thought it was ok for the Bumis to have political power while the Chinese continue doing business and getting rich. They did not count on the Bumis after grabbing political power, used it to grab the economic and business interest of the Chinese. Now with political power, they control everything and the Chinese could not do anything about it.

Political power is supreme and when lost, it would be lost forever. No one will be stupid enough to give up political power except the silly bananas. Meritocracy is the way to go?

Who bluffing who? Would Singapore become like Malaysia?

Based on Ah Heng analysis, Sinkies not ready for that Dark Matter as of now lah ho boh..

Think that about r true when the old man was alive. But in Sinkies context of the leader of this tiny rock island, it's a famiLee business u know, of course will hand over to the next heir on the line if not that part might go chaos & everyone with its party claim more capable than the other, so to stabilise this a dynastic rule is possible in Sinkieland.

U r right Sporeans got no say at all unless the voters results can change, even that's still too far off as of now

Singaporeans must expect value for money. When you pay someone a million bucks, he better delivers a million bucks worth of goods or services.

WHAT HE WAS SAYING IS THAT ALL DOCTORS WHO HAVE SERVED THEIR NATIONAL SERVICE LIABILITY IN THE SAF ARE SUCKERS!

AND THAT HE IS A SPECIAL BREED WHO IS ABOVE ALL THE REST, EVEN MORE SPECIAL THAN LEE HSIEN LOONG AND LEE HSIEN YANG, THE CHILDREN OF THE FIRST PRIME MINISTER!

HOW AUDACIOUS AND SHAMELESSLY ARROGANT!

This NS escape-artist free rider must never be allowed to go any higher in the power hierarchy.

He is a political animal who knows how to wrangle all his way through, to his utmost advantage, and belittle or sweep aside others who are more superior or equal to him.

A betrayal of his own father's values, and willingly sleeping with his father's enemy, such a political charlatan cannot be trusted to lead the country. He can betray all of us to his own benefits if and when necessary.

This impudent upstart of doctor who shows no respect for his equals and superiors should not have been given so many important posts within the PAP as well as in the Governing body, both official and otherwise.

How did the Big Boss make such an error of judgement?

Putumayam is obviously vying for the top position in the Government.

With Singapore Indians, Malaysia Indians and India Indians on the rise, he may stand a good chance to replace the Chinese PEE AYAM.

The President is already taken over by an Indian masquerading as a Malay.
