Beijing warns Five Eyes that an ‘irritated’ China would be ‘difficult to handle’ ‘You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry’

The Chinese foreign ministry has called on the nations of the Five Eyes alliance to enter the 21st century and stop viewing Beijing as the Qing Dynasty, after the allied countries successively accused China of human rights abuses.

Speaking at a regular news conference on Wednesday, foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying warned the nations of the Five Eyes alliance (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the US) to stop interfering in China’s internal affairs.

Hua said the Five Eyes nations needed to move into the 21st century and realize the China of today is very different to the Qing Dynasty. She said the five-nation grouping is reminiscent of the Eight-Nations alliance (Germany, Japan, Russia, Britain, France, the United States, Italy and Austria-Hungary) which invaded and plundered northern China in 1900.

Questioning the legitimacy of these nations to call out China for alleged human rights abuses, the spokeswoman stated “the United Nations has more than 190 member states. Several allies such as the “Five Eyes Alliance” cannot represent the international community.” She added that there was “scant” support for their criticism of China.

On Tuesday, Australia and New Zealand, in a joint statement, welcomed the decision of the US, EU, Canada and Britain to impose sanctions on senior Chinese officials.

“Just look at the world map and you will know that China has friends all over the world," she said.

"The China now is not the China of 120 years ago. The era when a few cannons can open the door to China is gone! The Chinese people are not irritable, but if they are irritated, they will be difficult to handle,” she added

They think China is still like the China of the mid 19th century. They dictate and China had to listen. They made China weak by forcing China to open it's doors to the opium trade. This is the sick agenda of the West in all it's heinous and immoral glory.

That is why China cannot remain weak and be constrained by the West hammering on the issue of how much China is spending on it's military. Why is nobody questioning the USA spending multiple times the spending of the top few countries?

Look at what possessing a few nuclear missile has done to North Korea. It can fire missiles as it likes, leaving even the evil one banging marbles knowing North Korea is pointing it's middle finger at it.

China is more assertive, China is more aggressive. There are loaded bad words used by the Americans to put China in a bad light. It is also a way for the Americans to identify their lackeys. All American lackeys must use the same words when referring to China, like debt trap, violation of human rights.

The latest bad words to smear China is genocide, another white lie being spread by the 5 eyes countries and EU and other American cronies are expected to utter them to show loyalty to the American Empire.

When is Singapore going to use this word to smear China to prove that Singapore is a good boy? Which Singaporean leader will be the first to use it?

China calls for Western sanctions on Australia over human rights, as Chinese consumers boycott H&M, Nike"

China has accused the Morrison government of operating a concentration camp on Manus Island as officials in Beijing returned fire on Western countries critical of China’s treatment of ethnic Uighur Muslims in the Xinjiang province.

Chinese consumers are echoing their government’s stance with many joining a boycott of popular Western fashion brands, including American sports brand Nike, Swedish fashion brand H&M, British luxury brand Burberry, German athletics wear Adidas and Uniglo that have either spoken out about the use of forced labour in Xinjiang or have chosen to not source products from there. Popular Chinese online retailers have removed these brands from their sites.

On Wednesday Lijian Zhao, Chinese foreign ministry official, compared the Australian government’s refugee detention centres to concentration camps.

’The Australian government built detention centres on the Manus Island, which “accommodates” tens of thousands of people from war-torn countries. The concentration camps, as some critics call it, are still in operation,” he tweeted.

Also on Wednesday, another Foreign Ministry official resurrected China’s criticism of alleged war crimes by Australian soldiers in Afghanistan and referred to the “infamous” White Australia policy as genocide against Aboriginal people.

“Speaking of “accountability”, I wonder how is Australia doing with those investigations into their soldiers’ grave crimes in Afghanistan that were exposed not long ago? Have they held the perpetrators accountable and punished them to do justice to the innocent victims? Will Five Eyes countries including the US and the UK, and the EU consider sanctions on Australia?” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told a press conference.

”Besides, in Australia, there was the infamous White Australia Policy, under which genocide was committed against Aboriginal people and 100,000 Aboriginal children were forcibly taken away from their families. Did the Australian side hold accountable those who caused pain to the Stolen Generation?

China should have done this long ago. It is better late than never.
The boycott of western goods must be taken to a higher level and on more western brands.

Today, China can produce practically anything and does not need to trade with the hostile west if necessary. Close down the western car making factories, close down Apple as well.

With the biggest consumer market in the world, these western brands would have their sales and profits slashed, may have to close down. Let EU go and trade with the Americans. Cancel the trade deals.

China must not let the western thugs think they can make money from China and still poke China in the eyes. Let the war drums roll. Tit for tat, an eye for an eye.

China should cut off one or two weaker EU countries just like cutting off Australia and Canada and let them collapse and see who is going to help them. Poland, Czech Republic are good candidates for a start.

Just do it, China.

Better to go after Germany, Adidas and all the big German car factories can close shop in China.

If US can coerce Germany, China should do likewise, be with us or against us. Germany has many big companies in China than in the US. Force the Germans to choose, to take sides as the US did.

Germany's economy will be hit very hard without China.

Do not allow Germany to play two sides.

Chua Chin Leng aka redbean said...

This is looking very interesting. If Germany were to choose to side with the Americans, their arch enemy, then it would have to sell its cars in the US against GM, Ford and Chysler etc etc. The Americans would be pissed.

And German Russian pipeline would be cut. See how Germany going to survive without China's market and Russian gas and oil.

See how the Americans are going to squeeze the German balls.

Good, good, divide the world into two camps. And Japan would have to take sides too. This will fix the Japs as well. They also need the China market very badly.

This is like pressing the reset button. Many weak EU countries at the brink of bankruptcy would not be able to survive if they are to depend on the American market. Italy, France, Greece etc would be very vulnerable.

The Americans would be under severe pressure to open up to save these countries and the American economy would be torn apart.

Britain would sink like the Titanic into the English Channel or the Atlantic Ocean.

TAIPEI: The United States and Taiwan are natural partners when it comes to semiconductors and promoting this cooperation is a U.S. priority, the de facto U.S. ambassador in Taiwan said on Thursday.

Washington has increasingly viewed tech-powerhouse and democratically ruled Taiwan as a key part of its strategy to shift global supply chains away from China, especially when it comes to technology and chip companies.

What a joke? When the biggest consumer of the chips is China and if China refuses to buy and starts to develop its own chips, who are they going to sell to?

Anonymous said...

Never underestimate the resolve of Chinese chip developers.

Sure they are now constrained by the shortage of high end chips. But if they can go to the moon, construct their own space station, develop their own AI infrastructure, construct super computers, mastered the bomb, built hypersonic missiles all without the help of the West, never count China out.

It only takes time, even a decade is not too late, for them to solve the problem and when it comes to fruition, Taiwan and other high end chip makers can manufacture and eat their own chips with KFC or MacDonalds.

I have no doubt that businessmen everywhere are more sensible in thinking than trying to strangle their largest lucrative market for chips. It is either they providing the chips and China using them in their products, or China can do both themselves, which means no use crying over again that China is stealing their jobs.

On second thought, I think China will still eventually go on to develop their own high end computer chips. When the USA and the West together with Japan and Taiwan start to weaponised even sensitive technology like high end computer chips, it is time for China to make sure they are not held hostage going forward.

This may even be a blessing in disguise for China to free itself forever from technology blackmail.

Huawei is doing it in warp speed and achieving many breakthroughs. Soon Qualcomm will be out of business. Soon all the western chip makers would be out of business.

All this is because the Indian chief Uncle Sam knows they are not going to be No 1 forever and one former president did hint once they could not accept that.
They did the same trick to Mexico as they lied about Xinjiang in the 19th Centuey by lying that colonial master Spain inflicted genocide on the Mexican natives and as pretext to invade Mexico. Many parts of the southern states like California, N Mexico, Texas formally belonged to Mexico.

Us did the same to Japan econmically in the 80s when they were No 2 as they did to china now. Hitachi Corp borne the same brunt as Huawei and Chinese companies now. Alas, Japan iso of remembering that become another lapdog of the US and their hegemony.

Angela Merkel is the smartest and most upright leader in Europe. The rest are just buffons and useful idiots for the US

All of them preach human rights on Xinjiang but it was only Merkel who welcomed the war refugees from the Middleeast and Afghanistan. Merkel also knows who can butter the bread most by being more circumspect on China issues and willing to piss off the Americans on the latter's threat over the Russian gas pipelines.

Her leadership would be missed by China and Russia whrn she leaves the scene.

No Historical figures or Country can remain No. 1 forever. As someone commented somewhere, from the Pharaoh to every Conqueror and Empires, they eventually bite the dust. Some go down from outside mishaps, some fall from internal strife and struggle for power. It comes when the time is ripe and conditions are untenable. It happens when it is due to happen.

Never say never. The Titanic was thought to be unsinkable. But they are now still arguing about what caused the sinking. Was it really the external iceberg or the structural and internal faults?

Anonymous said...

I too agree about Merkel. She is wise. But she is pressurised by the USA and other EU poodles of the USA. They are plotting for her to relinquish her leadership and leave the scene. This is borne out by her falling support in recent elections.

She wants cheaper gas for the EU instead of expensive gas shipped from the USA. The evil empire wants to sanction Germany if she did not relent and stop supporting the Nord Stream 2 project. This will surely ruffle the feathers of Russia and it gives the evil one reasons to prolong their stay in Europe. The evil one even spied on her and got caught red handed. Is this the way to treat a close ally?

You can bet the evil one's support for NATO against Russia is all hype up to enable the evil forces to remain in Europe to counter Russia. Like the evil Brits, they create hot spots for a reason. And you can bet for evil purpose and nothing morally correct.

China sanctions UK individuals and entities behind smears of Xinjiang

China hit back after the UK's unilateral move of sanctioning Chinese individuals and entities over Xinjiang affairs, with countermeasures of sanctioning nine UK individuals and four entities including its chairman of the foreign affairs committee Tom Tugendhat and other MPs and scholars who have spread lies and rumors about China's Xinjiang region, and some major think tanks that have played infamous roles in the matter.

Among those on the sanctions list, Tom Tugendhat is chairman of the foreign affairs committee at the parliament and chair of the China Research Group. The foreign affairs committee has launched unreasonable inquiries into Xinjiang affairs citing "forced labor," and is behind many foreign policies coercing China over Xinjiang. Tugendhat had referred to non-existent "massive detentions of Uygurs" as "echoes of the 1930s."

Duncan Smith, former leader of the Conservative Party, and Nusrat Ghani, together with other conservative members of parliament, have called for political actions against China over Xinjiang.

Neil O'Brien, also a conservative MP and co-founder of China Research Group, has long been a China-hawk with remarks calling for tough actions against China over a wide range of topics including technology competition, Hong Kong and Xinjiang.

David Alton is a crossbench peer at the House of Lords. In January 2021, Alton influenced the Lords to pass an amendment to the Trade Act 2021 that would require that the UK does not trade with China, which he called a "genocidal regime."

Tim Loughton, another conservative MP and a former minister, backed by other MPs, suggested British sanctions against Chinese officials and organizations, citing alleged repression in Xinjiang.

Geoffrey Nice, a barrister and chair of the Uygur Tribunal in Britain, which aims to establish that the Chinese government's policies in Xinjiang constitute genocide in a public hearing in London in May.

Helena Kennedy, a Labour member of the House of Lords, is behind multiple reports that smeared Xinjiang. She is co-author of a recent report by US Newslines Institute for Strategy and Policy that claimed genocide in Xinjiang. The co-authors also include pseudo-scholar Adrian Zenz.

Joanna Finley is a faculty member of Newcastle University, teaching Chinese studies. She has published articles and talked to media, claiming Xinjiang has forced sterilization and other abuses, without evidence.

The China Research Group, which many of the sanctioned individuals are connected with, is a newly set clique which includes conservative MPs and some researchers. The aim of the group is to urge the UK government to take a tougher stance on China.

Essex Court Chambers, after consulting secessionist terrorist organization World Uyghur Congress, authored a legal opinion concluding that China's policies in Xinjiang constitute "genocide."

The individuals concerned and their immediate family members are prohibited from entering the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macao. Their properties in China will be frozen, and Chinese citizens and institutions will be prohibited from doing business with them. China reserves the right to take further measures, Xinhua reported.

China should cut off relations with this has been Empire, cut off all trades, and close its diplomatic offices in Greater China. No dogs and British allowed in Chinese territories, especially Hong Kong. Close down HSBC.

China can do without having any relations with this little evil country. Time to let it sink like the Titanic into the Atlantic Ocean.

Like the trade war, China must retaliate. And China is retaliating.

China must not let the West think they can get away doing things unilaterally against China without recourse. Those days are gone.

Anonymous said...

Keep up the sanctioning game China! It will level the playing field.

China is not a minnow in any sense of the word, and it's sanctions will hurt. Unlike smaller countries whose sanctions are mere pinpricks against the West and are themselves afraid of regime change tactics, China is not so easily threatened.

So is Russia and Iran, even smaller North Korea.
