A degree course for politician wannabes – Lesson 4

This lesson is about the mindset change. When one aspires to be a national leader, one has to have the confidence to lead. Put the boy scouts and girl guides days behind you. You are now an adult, a politician, a leader of the people, someone the people will look up to, will come to you with their problems, expecting you to solve their problems, to speak up for them in Parliament.

A national leader is a person with leadership qualities, of course there are many fakes and pretenders, with ideas and visions, confidence to state his case, for the people. And there are plenty of opportunities to do so in public and in Parliament. Do not go to Parliament just to ask questions like a student trying to impress the teacher or a way to score some points. Do not ask questions and then eat or swallow whatever dumb answers, and no answers, from the ministers. Insist on a good reply to your questions.

Speak up in Parliament for the people. I can’t stress enough of this point. You may belong to a political party, but your most important duty is to the people that elected you to Parliament. There will be times when there are conflicts of interest between the party and the people. Be very clear that it is the people that you must answer to. The party cannot bring you to Parliament except to offer you support in your election campaign. It is the people that mark a tick or cross on the ballot to send you to Parliament. Do not betray the people who send you to Parliament.

And before I forgot, when you speak up in Parliament, you are speaking for the people. You do not have to ask a minister whether you can speak or what you can speak in Parliament. You do not ask a minister to approve your paper. You do not act like a student, submitting your paper to the teacher and expecting a good grade if the teacher agrees with what you are going to say in Parliament.

You speak your mind, whether the ministers or other MPs agree or disagree with your views when your views are for the good of the people or what the people wanted you to say in Parliament. You are a national leader the moment you are elected. Behave like one, no more boys and girls seeking approval and a pat on the back from other politicians or ministers.

Grow up.

Good Women Day to you redbean, My wife is away , my mother is not with me and my daughter is sleeping. I am at peace without these 3 women in my life. That NMP Chia YY need to bring him to WoodBridge Hospital and examine her brain. She asked PM for permission to speak and lookng at her face during the speech, I think she so cunning and delusive! Say that she wheel-chair bounded, but the online is not very kind to her. I should ask her whether is happy to put all her wealth into the CPF board and wait until 65 years old and slowly pay out subjected to changes from now until she is 65 years old. It may be 70 or 75 and even 80 years when she reach 65......

Hi Elephant, welcome to the blog.

Good day to you too. I have more than 3 women in my life, wife, daughter and grand daughters.

It is scary that people will surrender their good money to a stranger that promised to return in the future.

I am a PAP MP.
Is it my job to represent PAP or Singaporeans in parliament?

NMP Chia YY.
She was not elected by Singaporeans into parliament.
She was nominated into parliament.
So is it true to say that may be her loyalties may be with the people who nominated her?

Who does a NMP represent?
Singaporeans or the people who nominated her into parliament?

PAP indeed selected the right Sinkie, never mind a(physically)handicapped one, to be a NMP.

Most important the mind is very sound, and also on the same "wavelength" as PAP. Surely cannot select a Sinkie like Roy as NMP, tio bo?

RB

Hahahahahahaha.

Not when there is a 93% chance of being elected by only 60% of the people into Parliament to serve as part time MP.

Being only part time MP, where got time to speak for the people, u tell me lah? I also need to attend a lot of director meetings, u know.

A good politician who is aiming to be a GREAT politician and a STATESPERSON will accept and understand that people come and go but the nation state is forever.

Human beings, i.e. the sheeple citizens are quirky and cannot be trusted nor relied upon for ensuring the health and longevity of the NATION STATE.

Humans will moan and groan and never stop complaining---nothing is ever good enough for them.

A wily politician will use this to their advantage: human psychology is one of the easiest things in the universe to "hack" due to the emotional drive which operates it. Humans are not, by default, "rational". In fact, a mental state of "rationality" is the human believing that he is thinking and behaving rationally, and thus essentially "being rational" is simply another emotional state.

What is important is the survival and future of the NATION STATE, aka the CUNTREE. The cuntree must remain awesome and productive. Growth should be the Number One objective and should be attained at ANY COST.

Since human beings are always being "created", they are thus EXPENDABLE and are there simply to serve the present and future objectives of The State. Most humans are insignificant anyway---apart form a few who are truly special and are productive achievers, the majority of humans will waste their lives if they didn't have a CENTRAL AUTHORITY taking command and directing them.

People like to believe themselves as "special". The cold hard fact is that they are not. The super sly politician will encourage The Sheeple to read stuff like George Orwell's "1984" and "Animal Farm", and even promote the idea that "politicians are evil". Fact is : IT WILL MAKE NO DIFFERENCE. Why? Because scientific experiments have proven beyond doubt that the mass of humanity CRAVES AUTHORITY to tell them what to do, what to think, etc.

The successful politician will be richly rewarded if he ensures the continuance of the Nation State.

The human brain has a hardwired Scarcity Bias---i.e. the brain tells the operator that loss is very bad and that sends a POWERFUL SIGNAL to trigger concomitant behaviour. In Singapore parlance this is manifested in "kiasu-kiasi" in the culture. Fear of loss is STRONGER than desire for gain. Therefore in carrot and stick policies, the smart politician will ensure that there is "more stick" than "carrot".

Remember: CUNTREE IS #1. People are expendable.

Politics is "applied evil". You have to be GOOD at being BAD. Feel free to use my ideas to achieve your goals...if you don't, someone else will.

So does this mean we can pull the plug on Yew know who.
Since he has become expendable to Singaporeans.

That's why good one like A/P Eugene not nominated for another term.

He not always sing 90.5 Fm saying all the good tidings to the ears of the PAP.

Same principle applied to your bosses and superior at work.

Get yourself redundant without not knowing what hits you.

When you are in a Real Communist country run by elitist elites, who pay themselves by the millions of dollars to make themselves instant millionaires in just one year, whether you speak up for the People or not, whether you standby the People of not, whether you ask questions in Parliament or not, it does not make a Real Difference. It is really just for show - Wayang Kulit shows of Indonesian origin.

The Parliament is actually built by the PAPA. So it belongs to the PAPA, so to speak.

As such, when the Prince is in Total Command, same as running a military organisation, HE called HIMSELF The General and behaves like a General (for real or not is immaterial as long as he feels siok). Thus, HE says and does only General Things - those THINGS that will only benefit HIMSELF and HIS FAMILEE.

Moreover, firstly, HE surrounds HIMSELF with other Generals (actually Paper=Generals easily obtained from the Kalong Guni Man).

Secondly, HE also surrounds HIMSELF WITH Rear-Admirers, who cannot even differentiate between a Nurse's Profession and a Low-Grade Manual Bangla Man's Job inspite of being a Politician-cum-Mini$ter for humpty years, yet still a book-worm through and through.

Thirdly, HE brings in People who stamps their feet and "Don't Know What To Say" as well as some Snake-Oil Sellers. These jesters, jokers, creepers, parasites and sycophants are there to do His biding. So, HE simply ORDERS them around and DICTATES to them what to do. All in the nice name of national interests BUT actually to do the bidding for him and his FAMILEE.

So, what to say? What else to say? Better say: I don't know what to say already. TIOK BOH?

For enjoyment by those who can lah. Also as a fictitious emotional "anchor" for politicians to con the Dumb Sheeple into believing that they are important because the cuntree "belongs" to them---and the dumb sheeple fall for this ruse time and again. :-)

Gullible much?
