So mean testing is here

I only have a few simple questions to ask? Why are the hospitals insisting on providing expensive wards when many people do not want them? Are the hospitals serving according to the needs of the people or dictating their needs to the people? Why can't or won't the hospitals provide more C and B2 wards when the demands are there? This is another case of who is determining what is good for the people. Unfortunately the people have very little say in this. And the hospitals are determining what they should pay. You got money you must eat in restaurants.

Why are you complaining. The govt is trying to be fair. C wards are meant only for the poorer people who cannot pay too much for hospital stay. The C wards are subsidised by the govt so if you can afford it you must go to the more expensive wards I think this system is the fairest of all. Sorry you cannot see it, but I think it is the best way to make sure there are ample C wards for the poorer people.

if the govt is to serve the people's needs, and the people want to be admitted in C and B2 wards, why is the govt refusing to provide more of these wards?

It is important that the government applies more energy and enthusiasm into the state-run and owned Bio Tech Sector, especially in the field of EUGENICS.

When they finally genetically engineer The Perfect Singaporeans, they can build into each being a fixed life-span — say for argument, 65 years. Of course there are more than one class of genetically engineered Singaporeans, so individual design aspects will vary. For e.g. workers will get the 65 yr life span, intelligentsia will get 90yr or greater.

It would be then easier to plan the hospital system and to allocate medical assistance as required.

In a totally planned society, no medical expenses will have to be incurred by patients — all provided free by the government. However, not everyone will receive treatment. The state will only save those persons who are OF VALUE to the states present and future plans.

In this way, the state could run a very cost-effective public health system, and no one need worry about exorbitant bills.

with the advancement in genetics and medical science, we can create the exact replica of anyone we like. and also the perfect human specimen like the workers bee, the soldier bee and the queen bee.

the future is so exciting. sad thing is that there will be no need for sex.

If I may correct you:

There won't be need for sex for procreation, sex can simply be enjoyed for its own sake.

The govt genetic program will produce special sex workers — male and female for USE by the citizens. They will be able to use their credits on the NRIC which is used to buy goods and services from the state. Because credits are limited according to the way the govt designed the particular citizen — workers get less, intelligentsia and elites get more — no one will be able to have unlimited sex.

Sex is important because it gives the citizens something to look forward to. And because it is completely controlled by govt, the activity can be closely monitored and planned.

Having state-provided free sex will negate any possibility or reason to form families. Families are units where individual autonomy and dignity can be enjoyed. To have a totally controlled state, individualism must be prevented and cut off at the root. The root of individual development is always the family.

The state simply cannot allow the influence of adult members of a family to bring up New Citizens (formerly known as 'children'). It is the states role to develop these New Citizens into obedient ones.

Just wonder, will there come a day whereby an adult Singaporean earning below a certain income will be categorized as a lesser citizen.

I do see it coming, maybe I am too cynical or imaginative. I do think that low class(ward) patients will be given cheaper drugs(medicines).

patriot.

it is already done. but don't worry, we have a senior minister looking after them full time.

Under TOTAL GOVERNMENT CONTROL all citizens are LESSER when compared to those more responsible, capable and intelligent people in the government. And everyone, including the government is LESSER compared to the Supreme Leader — the picture proudly displayed on the right.

The super talents who run the state are infinitely superior to the lowly citizen who should listen and follow the governments edicts to the letter.

These super humans are paid vast sums of money to remain responsible and corruption free, and no one should be allowed to question their omniscience.

In other 'democrazy' countries, the govt has limited term — 4 or 5 years. This is nuts. The party in power has that time to pillage and rape the country with no reason to hold any 'long-term' view.

The only correct way to rule by total government control is to do it DYNASTICALLY. Certain families, namely those offspring who have spawned from the loins of The Supreme Leader have the genetic makeup to rule over the citizens for hundreds, if not thousands of years.

you are worthy to be a great master.

i wanted to criticise them but just cannot find any flaws.

Will the Authority exercising the Mean Testing becomes more mean(or meaner?) to make the Mean Testing more to its'(Authority) requirement as tme goes?

puppy.

Chua Chin Leng aka redbean said...

don't worry puppy. once people get used to being mean, it will become easier the next time round. it will become second nature even.

this is just like people with millions and millions in their bank account and will never be satisfied with another few hundred thousands. they got used to the big numbers and anything lesser will be just peanuts.
