When the lies are exposed, they could not cover it up,
like in China, and they became desperate and illogical. The progress,
the infrastructures, the high-speed trains, the happy and satisfied
population are all there for foreign visitors to see and report on. When
the MSM controlled news worldwide in the past, hiding the truth was
easy. Today, everything is like an open book, and the MSM has lost its
monopoly of news and propaganda dissemination, and with it also its
credibility in the process.
Of course, in any country there can
never be a 100% satisfied population with differing ideals, and there
will be those against the Government, and these are the ones easily
manipulated and bought over by those wanting to destroy the country. The
USA, working the ground using the CIA and their funded NGOs, knows who
are those that can be brought into their circle to instigate regime
changes or create unrest. This is clearly shown in Hong Kong.
In
every country that the USA is eyeing for a regime change, you can bet
the CIA and NGOs are working the ground diligently to recruit
dissatisfied citizens with incentives to ferment unrest.
The
Thai Military Government had long been aware of such clandestine
activities and have proposed a law to require NGOs operating within the
country to disclose their funding sources, which the West obviously and
vehemently opposed. The disclosures will ultimately lead most of them to
be under foreign funding sources, particularly the NED, the USA created
and funded regime changing arm.
In Myanmar the Military
Government realized the direction the country was moving towards when
Aung San Suu Kyi was elected and took positive steps to remove her from
office knowing who she was consorting with and being used by.
We
also are aware that the USA Government is eyeing Laos and Cambodia and
serenading Vietnam to pivot from China towards them, perhaps
orchestrating regime changing moves. Cambodia was defined as a
democratic state, 'gradually advancing' towards Socialism. These are
therefore Socialist countries with close relations with China and highly
dependent on China for trade. Regime changes are not going to work.

They deluded West does not have a choice. Democracy vs Socialism is dead, and the mantra no longer works. But then democracy has been seen to have lost much ground to socialism. So, what else can they do? They invented the 'Rules Based Order' hubris to hijack the UN recognized International Law, so that they can continue to do what they used to do without looking stupid.
The USA and the West continue with destabilizing countries, terrorizing weaker states, forcing smaller states to support them with their 'either with US or against US' ultimatum, using imaginary threats to form alliances to look after the USA's interest are all being done. And the new weapons they are using are human rights, fake freedoms that do not even exists inside the USA itself, the oft repeated mantra of protecting democracy from what I do not know, and even trying to use issues like LGBTQ to help promote their agenda. Since the end of the Vietnam War and the breakup of the USSR, socialism has never been used as a force to destroy democracy as what democracy tried to do to socialism earlier.
The Global South countries of Africa, South America and South Asia have no time for such nonsense, as all they want is infrastructure development for progress and lifting people out of poverty. And the BRI provided that opportunity which they looked up to. They know what to do to get rid of Dictators that colluded with the West to destroy the country.
The USA and the West can continue to wallow in their corrupted way of life and denying others the road to progress. But that cannot be stopped when these countries know there is a way out of their misery. China was and is the beacon of hope that they can see with their own eyes.
And the USA and the West wants to keep China down from being a beacon for the Global South. They still want to promote themselves as the beacon that the Global South and others must follow.

Whew.... close call eh? I remember how Western mainstream media tried SO HARD to sanctify her as some sort of "Mother Theresa-esque" figure - and yet like the actual mother theresa, she turn out to be a fraud.
