Uniquely Singapore - Political wisdom transforming Singapore

 Quote 1

The best way to check a govt is 'Ownself checks ownself'.

Quote 2

The best form of political system is a 'One party democracy'.

Quote 3

The best way to prevent corruption in govt is 'Pay them so well that they see no need to corrupt'.

Quote 4

'Anyone earning less than S$500,000 pa is mediocre.'

Quote 5

'No degrees never mind, can work can oredy.'

Quote 6

A degree is only a piece of paper, cannot be eaten.

PS. Can't remember who said them. Not important. The crux of the matter is the meaning and wisdom. These are political wisdom arising from more than 60 years of a one party ruled democratic country with no talents except politicians. The brightest people in the island, the most talented, undisputed, are politicians, oops, ruling party politicians only. And they are all exceptional because they all earned an annual salary of more than $500,000 pa with many earning more than a million. This obviously is talent, backed up by the realities of their ability to earn such incomes from jobs they need not apply, need not submit application letters and resumes to compete with anyone except among themselves.

Even foreign fake talents with their best fake degrees, the best in the world, would not be better than the qualifications of these political talents. Or is it can work good enough, no need degrees?

Legalised Or Not, Corruption Is Still Corruption

Basically, the ruling party, right from the very beginning, was a COMMUNIST PARTY OF SINGAPORE, an off-shoot of the COMMUNIST PARTY OF MALAYA, which was an off-shoot of the COMMUNIST PARTY OF CHINA. There is no democracy in its true sense. But there is the Dictatorship of the Proletariat of a COMMUNIST System.

That's why until today, the ideology ingrained in the present lot of the ministers within the PAP is ONE PARTY RULE is the BESTEST for Singapore, and only the Party can check itself because the Party is also the Government.

Totalitarian countries are bound to have rampant corruption at the top to the bottom. And any political party that holds power for more than 10 years is bound to be deeply and widely corrupted. However, most of these corrupt activities are done under the table.

The top brain in corruption methodology device a system to legalise corruption so that he and his cronies and sycophantic followers can corrupt over the table in broad daylight.

No matter whether it is illegal or legalised, corruption is still corruption.

As long as people in power helped themselves to fatten their own bank accounts; as long as the money transferred is from the public funds; as long as the transferred money has made them multi-millionaires within a very short period of time; as long as the public is unable to bring justice to bear, it is corruption at the highest level, though in an indirect way, by manipulating the Parliament to give it a legal basis to corrupt.

I rest my case.

Does it mean that in a UK-style of Parliamentary Democracy, there is no political corruption at the top?

Does it meant that in a US-style of Democracy, there is no corruption at the US Congress, Senate and White House?

Read the following brief news and you will realise that corruption of the political parties are alive and kicking assess. Today, it is kicking the assess of its own institutional instrument of Human Rights Champion, the Amnesty International, that it has created and supported in the past to demonise other countries that refused to tow the Evil US Empire's line. What a joke!

Washington, DC – In an era of hyper-partisanship in the United States, a new bipartisan consensus appeared to emerge on Capitol Hill this week: condemning Amnesty International over its report accusing Israel of committing the crime of apartheid against Palestinians.

Dozens of US lawmakers from both major parties, including powerful legislators and heads of key committees in the House of Representatives and Senate, have released statements rejecting Amnesty’s findings – with some accusing the group of fuelling antisemitism.

This is a clear example of the highly manipulative corrupted minds at work. No doubt about it.

The "unique" thing about Singapore, is actually not so "unique" because....wait for it...drum roll please, honour guard Hormat Senja-TA!...everyone stand for National Anthem:

𝒯𝒽ℯ 𝒫ℯℴ𝓅𝓁ℯ 𝒢ℯ𝓉 𝒯𝒽ℯ 𝒞ℴ𝓊𝓃𝓉𝓇𝓎 𝒯𝒽ℯ𝓎 𝒟ℰ𝒮ℰℛ𝒱ℰ

...and all politics is downstream from CULTURE ie. whatever the culture is---the memes, the zeitgeist, the shared values etc---form the basis for the spontaneous emergence of the nation's POLITICS. 💪🏽 💪🏽

Corruption? Just legalise it.

USA's political campaign donations not corruption tainted? There is no such a thing as a free lunch without strings attached.

Trump must have pocketed a pile from Big Oil when he went against solar energy usage, electric cars and wind power during his term. He even invented the story of windmills killing birds and threatened tp punish those buying electric cars. All because he supported the fossil fuel lobby and the fracking business that donated much dough to his campaign.

Now the USA is pivoting to Asia from the Middle East, knowing that oil is no longer the main driver of the future and clean energy becoming more relevant. Otherwise, the USA would have already done a regime change in Venezuela, which holds the biggest oil reserves in the world, even more than Saudi Arabia.

The Russians and Chinese are exerting more of their influence in Venezuela, and if NATO, prodded by the USA, still persists in their expansion eastward towards Russia, you can be sure the Russians will have a military base in Venezuela and Cuba as well. As they say, sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

==========

1. True, that is the simplest definition of self governing REPUBLIC.

2. One party cannot be a democracy. However it can be chosen by (fake) democratic process. If everyone subscribes to the same delusion, then a lie isn't a lie anymore. It becomes FACT, and part of THE CULTURE.

3. In Singapore, everyone "over values" their sense of self worth. And everyone loves money cos the culture is anchored firmly in materialism. It is what keeps the economy pumping, and is the envy of the world. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What exactly is a government anyway? The most direct and 100% factual definition is that ☞ ☞ The government is just a BUNCH OF PEOPLE ☜ ☜ chosen or self appointed to run the nation. What drives these folks to "originate" from the kampong? THE CULTURE 🍻😎

These people come from the same kampong as anyone else. Anyone can be in the govt or the State. President H used to sell nasi lemak as a kid in her parent's stall downtown. Back in the day folks used to "ta pau" during their visits to the Chinese YMCA nearby, and that stuff was delicious. Who would imagine that this young girl would one day end up as President?

You want a materialistic Singaporean to do something: PAY THEM ridiculously In Singapore your social status (FACE) is largely determined by your EARNING POWER...ie the more you earn, the better human being you are.

It's the culture lah. Stop being a baby about it! 😂

4. That's just opinion. My opinion is different. The whole idea is to work less and have more money. So it isn't how much you earn, but how much you keep and compound over time.

As the SEALs say: Smooth is slow, and slow is fast. Add to your pile smoothly every month. At first it is slow going, then EXPONENTIALITY (a fact of math) takes over and the small pile of money you started off with becomes very LARGE. 📈 💰

Why would anyone want to spend the best years of their lives working as a mindless robot for some deadbeat boss making the owners of that corporation rich? All those childhood dreams and passions are busted, down the toilet 💩 🚽...and all you get is old and tired, and JADED.⚰️ ☠️

5. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. 🏆

Anything else and you're just looking for an excuse to FAIL, play The Victim and blame it on someone or something else.👍🏻 🍻

6. A degree or accreditation is just some arbitrary "token" which says you can do certain things...that you are "qualified" (whatever that means).

It doesn't mean you actually did things to ACHIEVE RESULTS or CREATE VALUE. And until you get off your butt and actually ACHIEVE, a degree is just a piece of expensive toilet paper...which incidentally, can be FAKED. 😝

Sin is a paradise to many, in and out of it.
It is also a queer and freaky tiny rock by nature. A Stanford Raffles miraculously saw it's potential and developed it to one of the Best Seaport in the World and prospered it to be a First World Country.
Unfortunately,
it is regressing backward fast.
This
tiny barren rock evolves to want autonomy by some of it's inhabitants. The Wish was presented on a silver platter to the Locals by the British Colonial Master some 60 Years back.
It underwent a period of gestation but ends up very much a still-born despite showing good sign initially. Alas, nationhood ends up as an infinite aspiration.
Now,
there is talk of mass desertion and abandonment from the Inhabitants soon. Is the Paradise faring this bad after these many years in the Hands of the Best Talents?

How does the Pessimism come about? What happens to the Faith of the People have in their leeders ?

Don't bother to read the rubbish of a CIA-Australia Spy lah. You write long long grandmother stories also useless lah. Who cares about what you say har?

Singaporeans Living In A Country Of Fakes

1. Singapore is not only importing fake talents to generate the fake growth of the GDP, it, by itself, has fake talents at the top running the country like running a business corporation, enriching only its fake talents masquerading as ministers and civil servants, who are supposed to be apolitical but are actually not.

2. It is also a fake independent country with strings attached to UK and USA, fully controlled and influenced by the Whitemen Masters.

3. It is also a fake parliamentary democracy, administered by a group of fake parliamentarians, selected from the fake elites, run by the fake natural aristocrats, for the families and cronies of the fake natural aristocracy.

4. Its national pledge is also revealed as just an aspiration by its first PM before he died. That means all the while the nation building was a fake.

5. Its national housing scheme of home ownership is fake because the legal documents signed between the HDB and the people is between a leassee and a leassor for a tenure of 99 years lease. At the expiry date of the lease, the value of the property is $ZERO and the leassee has to handover the property back to the HDB without fail.

6. Its national vaccination programme stated as voluntary is also fake because those who have chosen not to be vaccinated by the mRNA fake vaccines have been relentlessly and persistently hounded, hunted and unreasonably and atrociously penalised and punished throughout, to the extent of deprivation and degradation to their dignity and livelihoods.

Conclusion

Singaporeans are living in a fake state of being, in a country full of fakes.

@Matilah, @All,

In S'pore you're either an elite, a pawn, or a parasite. But being a parasite in S'pore is an art since we don't have easy welfare.

It still requires hard work, sacrifice, ingenuity especially in the first few years. Then suddenly you get to enjoy the benefits of elites & pawns without the downsides.

That's EXPONENTIALITY --- nothing happens for a long time. Then suddenly everything happens.

HDB heartlander, NSman, salary worker, millionaire -- from -$25,000 to $2,000,000 in 10 years. No Toto required.

Was piqued by the Title Escape From Paradise, of a book written by John and May Chu Harding. It turned out to be quite specifically of a Singaporean Family.
Piqued because was wondering why would anyone wants to escape from a paradise. After reading, l am no more surprise that there are many wanting to scoot away from Paradise Sin anymore.

@All,

I've also highlighted the below 2 Sinkies before. They're both from HDB backgrounds, average salary workers who put in the hard work to escape being pawns.

Lady who is sole breadwinner for family, became millionaire at 38 and has now over $4M in cash & stocks, excluding property & CPF.

Became a multi-millionaire thru reits & stocks, fired his boss at 45, and now collects at least $150,000 a year in passive dividends. Spends his time online gaming, exercising, tidying up his condo, & looking after elderly parents.

HO Ching

As we decided how and when to loosen up the covid restrictions, we should be mindful that:

a) Omicron has proportionately much lower risks of serious infections, but is much more infectious - this means everyone should be mentally prepared to meet the virus within the next few days, weeks and months, and the smaller proportion of serious infections out of a much bigger number of infected cases can still be a large number of serious cases overwhelming for hospitals;

b) Hospitalisation follows infection, oxygen cases pop up later, followed by a certain proportion going into ICU, and finally the deaths - these are cascading and lagging numbers - we should not make decisions on loosening up based on what we see today, but should try to estimate the lag effects on the serious infection numbers - nonetheless, there are some silly restrictions which should be done away with as some folks have pointed out, some are rules which may make sense when the virus is less transmissible but will not make a difference when the virus is more transmissible and yet it is impractical to be even more restrictive;

c) Yet, perversely, if we are confident that our hospitals are not going to be overwhelmed and that the vast vast majority are well protected, perhaps we should loosen up now while the booster effects are still fresh and able to protect very well against serious infections.

Not an easy judgment to call, but something which we are likely to be able to make soon to continue opening up to live wi to covid.

For individuals and families, vaccination and boosting is one powerful defence against severe illness.

True, we should expect higher vaccine breakthrough with the Omicron or later variants. Their key antigens have drifted further and further away from the targets which the antibodies from vaccine or past infections were trained to grab.

But vaccination and esp boosting will significantly reduce the risk of severe illness or death from the Omicron.

Just accept that the lowered risks doesn’t mean zero risk. This is esp for the vulnerable like the immunocompromised or the elderly.

The virus is not a static target to beat, but an evolving and elusive threat that is not easy to grasp.

Nonetheless, with vaccines in process of becoming available over the next few months for our young children, we should see a phalanx of fully vaccinated and also boosted people to help reduce the transmission spread further. This will in turn better protect our vulnerable, and not just ourselves.

And should we plan on a 2nd booster?

This is unlikely to be as useful except for the vulnerable such as the immunocompromised who mount weaker immune defences and need more “repeated” training from additional vaccine shots.

For the rest of the general population, we don’t have to make that decision for an additional booster unless:
(i) there is another variant that is more dangerous that pops up;

(ii) there are newer vaccines which are more effective in preventing infection, such as an Omicron targeted vaccine, or a nasal spray vaccine which can stimulate a different group of antibodies, the IgA, which patrols the mucosal lining in our nose, throat, which are the first point of entry for the virus.

The vaccines are pretty good at training up the IgG which are antibodies patrolling in our blood stream, and can reach all parts of the body, but they don’t patrol the mucosal lining which is where virus can first land.

The IgG is still very important for respiratory infection type viruses, as we can breathe the virus into our lungs. So the IgG play a critical role in preventing lung damage and the consequent pneumonia, etc.

If we can add the IgA type antibodies, we hopefully can give a one-two punch against the virus, and thus further protect ourselves and the population better.

HO Ching,

Why are you so concerned, talking about it everyday without fail, while your husband the Prime Minister does not talk much about it? Are you not overshadowing your husband's responsibility?

I had a look at turtle investor's (Kevin L's) blog. It is very good. I gleaned a heap of stuff myself about finance/ investing in the Singapore context which apart from collecting rent I know NOTHING (zero, zip, nada, kosong, bo liau) about.

This fella has a Discord channel and a fan base/ community built around his ideas. Plus he covers crypto with the spirit of a young fella instead of an old boomer like myself. He's part of the F.I.R.E (Financially Independent Retire Early) global movement.

3 years ago, turned my young nephews and nieces onto FIRE. In a world where "long-term job security" is fast disappearing, I think kids need stuff like this, or they will end up bitter and angry like many of their stubborn parents 🤡...with the financially lethal "borrow and spend" mentality to accumulate stuff they don't need, can't afford, to impress people they don't like---seeking some sort of "social validation" which traps them into a life-long cycle of just having to work to pay bills. Well. their choice, I suppose.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended. 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻 It also gives insight to how these "young fellas and gals" are thinking about their lives.

She must be very worried until cannot sleep day and night. Too much at stake.

If the mRNA fake vaccines are exposed and established as useless by Neutral Parties, and the WHO confirms it, then all those who jumped on that bandwagon for monetary gains will also be exposed.
