Two years and China and Hong Kong are still struggling in the race to compete with the West in this pandemic. Hong Kong was reported to be in trouble with 300 over daily cases, a warning sign that it is not doing well. China is in bigger trouble with less than 100 daily cases, and the West are all eagerly waiting for China to give up in its zero covid policy. China must open up like the West, to be like the West, freedom, and let the West into China freely, like the West, to share the virus with the Chinese people, something that they started in Wuhan. Unfortunately the uncooperative Chinese did not want to play according to the western script and stubbornly refused to welcome the virus into their community.
The most successful country in this pandemic is notably the USA with nearly 90m cases and 900,000 deaths, followed closely by several European countries all having several hundred thousand infections daily. The Asian countries that are trying to catch up are India and Japan. Japan has just been able to report more than 100,000 cases a day. Then there is tiny Singapore, now proudly reporting a daily infection of more than 10,000 cases and hoping and expecting to hit 30,000 cases daily. In a population of 6m, this is no mean feat.
The point to note is that all the top performing countries not only use the same 96% efficacy mRNA vaccines from the Americans, they also have very similar practices and policies, like respecting individual freedom, lesser restrictions, opening of borders, discrimination against the non vaxxed and encouraging boosters to raise their daily antibody counts. The more boosters the safer as the antibody counts would remain high for longer period.
China and Hong Kong and a few Asian countries that refused to do as the West, refused to use the best mRNA vaccines, would never be able to catch up with the West in number of infections and death cases. This is the biggest victory for the West to be able to convince many countries in the world to buy their very effective mRNA vaccines, with proper data to prove how good they are except that no one would know the full details of the data as it has been locked up for 75 years by the Federal Courts of Justice, to protect the manufacturers, oops, to protect the vaxxed that used the vaccines.
China and Hong Kong would not be able to open up to the people of the mRNA vaccine users, would be the losers, while the West could live happily with the virus in their community and bragging about how many thousands of infections daily and how many thousands of deaths caused by the virus as a badge of honour.
The West have won. They have succeeded to co exist with the virus, like the common flu, with or without their super vaccines. Actually they could have saved a lot of money and effort from the beginning without having to produce and jab their people with their vaccines. But then they would not be able to make so many billions selling their world best vaccines. It is now all back to square one, with the virus all over their community, people infected like having the common flu, and dying.
The only big difference is that everyone in the West must continue to be jabbed and jabbed with the vaccines in a never ending story, as often as the pharma companies recommended them to do so. The pharma companies are very happy, their govts are also very happy, and their people are also very happy with the outcome of the very effective vaccines. And they would also continue with mask wearing and restrictions in social distancing but no restrictions at all for the braves.
What a beautiful story of deception for the unthinking and the blind.

Chile Begins to Mass Vaccinate Its Population With Fourth COVID-19 Shot in Midst of Record Wave of Daily Infections

The fourth dose had already begun to be injected on January 10 into immunocompromised people, health personnel and the elderly in long-term residences, resulting in 2.1% of Chile's population having received one so far.

China's Sinovac to invest $60 million in vaccine facility in Chile
SANTIAGO (Reuters) - Chinese pharmaceutical Sinovac Biotech Ltd on Wednesday said it will build a fill-and-finish vaccine plant in Chile with an investment of $60 million, consolidating its presence in the Latin American nation that has used its COVID-19 shot the most.
Chile has run one of the world’s fastest vaccination campaigns, so far fully vaccinating more than 60% of its population, including with 19.6 million doses of Sinovac’s CoronaVac already delivered.
The plant will be built in the Santiago region in the first quarter of 2022. Sinovac will also build a research and development center in the northern region of Antofagasta.
Since mid-July, Sinovac executives have been looking at the possibility of building a plant in Chile with a capacity to produce 50 million vaccines of diverse types.
The Chilean government bet big on Sinovac’s COVID-19 vaccine, part-funding along with local businesses CoronaVac’s trial in the country, and ordering 60 million doses of the drug over the next three years, later topping up with more orders.
The health ministry has also indicated it will consider issuing third doses of vaccines to bolster their effectiveness in the face of new variants such as the Delta strain presently nudging up infection rates around the world.
Data released by the Chilean government on Tuesday suggested CoronaVac’s effectiveness at preventing symptomatic infection among its recipients fell from 67% when measured between February and April, to 58.5% when measured again at the start of July.

Will be launching my first NFT collection titled 'The Beast' to night. It will be an abstract painting of a very muscular human like beast created using the Art of RAR technique that I developed. RAR stands for Reflection and Refraction.
The painting is from a moment when light travelled through the medium water and frozen by the camera. The naked eyes would not be able to visualise what kind of images were captured, just plain water. The painting would only appear after tedious processes of darkroom processing, today called lightroom processing using software. It is like polishing and carving a piece of jade from raw stone.
The painting is conceptualised and created literally by Mother Nature. Mother Nature the painter. I am just the photopainter helping to make it visible to the human eyes.
There will be 9 pieces in this introductory collection, tentatively priced at 1 - 5 ethers each depending on the quality and complexity of the paintings.

China must never try to overtake the USA, in viral terms, that is. China just must keep up it's progress economically, upgrading it's military deterrent and helping poorer countries to rise up from poverty. Countries will then feel and appreciate China's tangible help as they also progress. That is all that China must continue to do without fail, not to please anybody or any country like the USA and the West.
The most exploited and neglected countries by the West were all found in the continent of Africa. After sucking Africa dry for a few centuries, the West just scooted off, thinking nothing about their responsibilities to the Africans. They thought there was nothing left to exploit in Africa and leaving the Africans to fend for themselves like the Red Indians in the reservations.
The West, the former colonial masters, simply don't care about the well beings of the Africans unless they needed them to stir trouble for China or Russia.
Everything new in Africa today, every big infrastructure, railways, ports, airports, highways, sports facilities, govt buildings, dams, factories, schools, etc etc were contributed by China or with China lending a helping hand.
But the West is still there to smear and demonise China, selling the narrative that China is there in Africa to exploit the Africans. They expect China to be the Santa Claus, building everything free for the Africans. They claimed that China was there for the resources.
What else is new? The Africans have no means to pay for the infrastructure and had to exchange their resources for them. It is a more direct way to pay for what they want and need. The other way is to sell their resources to a third party to exchange for money to pay China for the infrastructure. If no one wants to buy their resources, many would just remain as resources or dirt. They need a big buyer willing to pay for them.
By the way, the West, the former colonial masters, just took the resources in the past for free as colonial masters. Today the Africans would negotiate a fair price to trade with China, not giving away their resources for free.
The West were the robbers. China is doing a business, willing buyer, willing basis. No guns pointing at the head of the Africans.
Worry not about others. Sin is the Envy of the World, pandemic or no pandemic.

Children aged 5 to 11 currently have the highest rate of Covid-19 infection here, Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said on Tuesday (Feb 8).
Speaking at the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards 2022, where he was guest of honour, Mr Ong said that while hospitals may not currently be stressed in the same way as during the Delta wave, there is a need to ensure there are sufficient paediatric beds.
This is because the Omicron variant is more likely to infect children than the Delta variant, he said.
The infection rate for children aged 5 to 11 is currently about 67 per 100,000 population, said Mr Ong.
Those aged 12 to 19 have the next highest infection rate, at about 55 per 100,000.
"This is quite different as compared to during the Delta wave, which mostly infected older adults," said Mr Ong.
He added that the current infection rate among older age groups is lower, but did not give further details.
"With more children and young people getting infected, severe cases are inevitable and we need to ensure that there are sufficient beds for them," he said, adding that public and private hospitals are standing up more such beds, while Covid-19 Treatment Facilities are also converting more beds for children and their caregivers.
One such facility is Connect@Changi at Expo, where 660 beds are being prepared.
Fortunately, said Mr Ong, hospitalisation of children due to Covid-19 is often precautionary in nature, with short stays of about two to three days.
"Notwithstanding, it is important to get them vaccinated to protect them against the risk of severe illness should they get infected," he said.
Mr Ong emphasised that vaccines and booster shots continue to make a significant difference to the clinical outcomes of infected individuals.
He first noted that currently, 0.3 per cent of patients, whether young or old, infected with the Omicron variant need oxygen supplementation or care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Then, citing the example of seniors, Mr Ong said that while the average percentage of those aged 60 and up who are infected with Omicron and required oxygen supplementation or ICU care is 1.8 per cent, this varies depending on vaccination status.
For seniors who have taken their booster, said Mr Ong, this figure drops to 1 per cent or less. This rises to around 4 per cent for those fully vaccinated with no booster.
But for those who are not fully vaccinated, the rate of such severe illness is about 10 per cent.
"Hence a senior above 60 and not fully vaccinated is more than 10 times likely to fall severely sick when infected with Omicron compared to someone who is boosted. And that is why vaccination and boosters, especially among seniors, continue to be our key priority," said Mr Ong.

COVID-19 CASES: THE ART OF REPORTING HALF-TRUTHS
"Singapore reported 13,011 new Covid-19 cases as of noon on Tuesday (Feb 8), comprising 12,791 local and 220 imported infections.
It is the third time in a week that the daily caseload has surpassed five figures." ~ TODAY.
The figures given by the authorities are not the whole truth. It is partial truth. Those figures are reported from the ivory towers given by feedbacks from hospitals, polyclinics, private clinics and other healthcare establishments.
The reality on the ground is different.
The figures are much more. For every one infected person reported, there is at least one other infected case that went unreported.
Moral of the story is:
Whatever people who stay in ivory towers say, discount 50%. That's called half-truths.
When persinal image, glory and reputation are at stake, people seldom tell the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth.
So it seems Pfizer is admitting there are legitimate concerns about its clinical data integrity:
