China must not accede to Guterres request for a visit to Xinjiang

UNITED NATIONS: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres told leaders in Beijing he expects them to allow UN human rights chief Michelle Bachelet to make a "credible" visit to China including a stop in the troubled Xinjiang region, his spokesman said on Saturday (Feb 5)....

But China has so far denied Bachelet, a former president of Chile, a long-sought independent visit to Xinjiang.

The US government and lawmakers in five other Western countries have declared China's treatment of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang a "genocide" - a charge flatly denied by Beijing. CNA

China must not simply give in to Guterres request for such a visit. Guterres is under pressure from 6 countries, a small gang of mafia and trouble makers, to want to demonise China. The visit would be a farce and the result and report of the visit would probably have been written and would be published in mischievous western media, with or without the visit. A visit would only help the ill intented gangsters to make a fake confirmation that they have been there and found out that their allegation and fabricated lies are true.

China must say no to Guterres, who just have to go through the motion of asking at the behest of the evil 6 countries, and has to report back to the devil behind this demand for an investigation. The world is more than the 6 miserable countries. Yes, or no, Guterres would be able to tell the devil that he has done what he was told to do, to make the request. End of story.

At the very least, China must demand a similar visit to the native Americans in the reservations to investigate if there is discrimination and oppression against the original people of America. It must be a trade off, not a one sided affair. The evil Americans would continue with wild allegations and fabrication of lies to make such demands and China would be made to open its house to be searched for evidence of crimes or fabricated crimes.

China must stop be so foolish to let the evil Americans have their way, to dictate the agenda, to make China do as the Americans want it as the intent is to harm China. Nothing good can come out from such visits. Period. It is a scam from the very word go.

PARIS: French President Emmanuel Macron spoke again on Sunday (Feb 6) with Europe's President Joe Biden in a "coordination logic" ahead of his trip to Moscow on Monday, the French Presidency and the White House said.

The 40 minutes-long call allowed Macron to brief the European President on what he planned to speak when he met Putin in Moscow. and to take directives from the European President.

Singapore President Halimah Yacob met Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday (Feb 6) agreed to continue upgrading bilateral relations and welcomed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will further cooperation in giant panda research -- MOU just for an animal !??

How does it benefit the country to research further into the panda, a native animal from China which the Chinese already know better ??

Why not sign a military base, or some other big deals !

The things that are important to Singapore are dogs and cats, hawker culture and gardening. So now panda is also important.

Singapore now engages in 'Panda Diplomacy', now that 'Ping Pong' diplomacy is not working.

How is the Panda research going to help Singapore? Maybe they want to rear Pandas in the Istana.

Oh, I now understand. Pandas have two black eyes. Singapore will get two black eyes soon, one from USA and one from China. That is what I call 'Panda Diplomacy'

LKY betted on the right horse and Singapore rode the gravy train to prosperity.

The time has changed or is changing. Looks like the son is betting on the wrong horse, and Singapore would miss the next gravy train.

Singapore is already paying China $5M EVERY YEAR IN TAXPAYER MONEY to keep the 2 pandas. So far the pandas haven't earned back our Singaporean taxpayers' money, especially with the covid lockdowns & restrictions for 2 years & counting already.

How many poor, handicapped, destitute or homeless Sinkies are given Millions every year to survive? Better to be a panda than a Sinkie in Sinkie-land. You die your bizness.

Never let the White devil or their doggies into your backyard or your home. They have only one agenda and that is to find fault with anything they see in Xinjiang when they go home. Already we can see them stirring up issues at the Winter Olympics and it is playing out as planned with their paying off athletes to create trouble.

Now that China has downplayed the importance of not having the USA diplomats and it's doggies boycotting the games, nothing had been missed at all. It really is good riddance by not having those pests around, otherwise it spoils the whole spirit of the games.

But Washington, which is far away from the region, has been hyping that war is on the verge of breaking out. US media Bloomberg has even released fake news that "Live: Russia Invades Ukraine." The US has not only fanned the flames of public opinion, but also provided arms to Ukraine and enhanced military deployment around the European country. The US' intention is to urge Ukraine to "hold on" and not "fall behind" in its confrontation with Russia.

Washington intends to instigate wars, in a bid to increase the legitimacy of NATO's existence and the bloc's internal cohesion to tie Europe - which has shown some signs of departing from Washington - more tightly to the US. Some other analysts say the US can take the opportunity to sell arms - a reasonable suspicion based on history.

In short, the US is trying to hit various birds with one stone, but it is playing an immoral and dangerous game. The New York Times reported that "even many reliably hawkish voices in both parties show no appetite for seeing US troops fight and potentially die for Ukraine." The US is pushing Ukraine into the firing line, but it itself has jumped aside to avoid being implicated.
