China moving towards food sufficiency

China is weaning itself from USA and EU agricultural products. China has found alternative supplies from Russia and Brazil, among others.

Food security is one area that the USA may try to weaponize and China knew that all along. That is why China is attempting to be relatively less dependent on imports from USA and EU and concentrating on producing more food domestically. China is relentlessly reclaiming deserts to grow food, an area that no other country has done on such scale. China is building artificial canals for water diversion to barren areas for growing food, which no other country has done on such scale too.

China is developing aquaculture for fish breeding in the Bohai Sea with massive structures, even using large unused ships to provide fish tanks to rear fish in the sea. These are to supplement the imports that it currently is doing. Which is why China can survive after cutting off Japanese seafood earlier due to the Fukushima wastewater scandal.

When China wants to do away with importing USA and EU sourced foodstuffs, it is going to make life really miserable for farmers in the USA and EU. Russia and Brazil are laughing all the way to the bank with China as their biggest export market for agricultural products. China is killing two birds with one stone - on the one hand giving BRICS countries all the benefits rather than benefitting those that are out to destroy China, and secondly to preserve China's food security, the next weaponization usage against China to come.

China just gave Russia a big boost with a 50,000-ton order for pork. This will be a big loss for the EU. Rival pork producers are eyeing the Chinese market, the biggest in the world for pork.

China is retaliating against the tariffs on EVs in many ways. And it is now being directed at where it hurts most - agriculture and farmers. You see, farmers in EU are already attempting to keep out cheaper agricultural products from Ukraine, the result of less stringent measures over environment issues during production. Remember the farmers protest that erupted in Brussels that were the result of this? Farmers in the EU are unable to compete and are desperate. EU may even become a net importer rather than an exporter of agricultural products if famers close shop and lost their livelihood to cheaper imports.

Now China is targeting farmers in the EU, and they have no way to retaliate. China found new sources of pork from Russia and Brazil to enable it to move away from the EU and the USA. This is going to hurt farmers in EU and USA. It will encourage more farmers in Russia to raise more pigs to satisfy the demand from China. 50,000 tons is just 3% of the pork consumption in China annually. Russia is targeting 10% of the Chinese market. That is bad news for the USA and EU.

The West is gearing up for a trade war and they will get it.

Talking about stupidity, the Israelis are talking about targeting Iranian nuclear sites and oil installations. People in glass houses should not throw stones is the advice many are saying. Iran also knows where Israel's nuclear sites and oil installations are located. There are intelligence gathering on both sides.

Iran targeted the Nevatim airbase in Israel, said to be the USA air base in Israel hosting the F35s. Many planes were destroyed, although the Israelis and MSM refused to admit that for obvious reasons. The Iranians targeted military sites, while the Israelis targeted civilian buildings, refugee camps, schools, hospitals and even UN aid sites. The Israelis really think they can do as they like.

If Israel targets the Iranian nuclear sites and oil installations, what do you think the Iranians will do? Just sit around and twiddle their thumbs? Iran already warned that the next retaliation will be even more severe than the past. Remember that Russia is supporting Iran with more destructive weapons, even nukes that many are suggesting. Can Israel survive with a full -fledged Middle East war? Missiles and drones will come from all direction. In war there is no such thing as the 'Chosen People'. They will die the same way.

One thing not discussed about the retaliation by Iran days ago. How accurate were those missiles from Iran, more than 1,100 miles away? Out of about 180 missiles fired, around 30 were reported to have landed on or near the Nevatim airbase, but did not cause major damage, if you believe the MSM, although satellite images tell a different story. That should give an idea of how developed Iran's hypersonic missiles are in taking out targets.

Iran was targeting only military targets and Mossad HQ and a few other military targets. The 200 missile were spread over several targets. If the Iranian missiles were not accurate, they would have strayed into Tel Aviv and civilian targets and killed civilians.

It would be good for the Iranian missiles to be inaccurate and hit a few cities.
