The Americans are still being like the rogue Empire in Star Wars. Only they can attack and invade countries, start wars. No one else can. They can coerce all their allies and colonies to support their wars like the Empire. No one can support Russia. They are trying to isolate Russia to destroy Russia. When Russia is broken up, next would be China and the rest of the world would be under the coercion of the evil American Empire.
The rest of the world must unite behind Russia to be free from the American oppression and domination. This is the last battle, the last chance. Losing this battle would be Days of Darkness under the evil American Empire for eternity.

Wormuth is the latest US official to openly discuss the fact that the US is preparing for war with China. Earlier this year, a four-star Air Force general predicted the US will be at war with China within two years and ordered his forces to be prepared. "I hope I am wrong. My gut tells me will fight in 2025," Gen. Mike Minihan, the head of Air Mobility Command, said of war with China in a leaked memo.
'Wormuth’s plan would involve sending more troops and advanced weapons into the region, including hypersonic missiles. She said the buildup would be an effort to deter war with China, although Beijing has been increasing its military activity in the region in response to US actions.
Wormuth laid out three ways the US Army would work to build up forces in the region. First, by increasing cooperation with allies, which she said would "complicate" Beijing’s decision-making. Second, the Army will establish "theater distribution centers" to pre-position weapons and other supplies in the region.
She listed Australia and Japan as two places where weapons could be staged and said non-lethal equipment might be stored in the Philippines and Singapore. The third aspect of the plan would be to place more visible combat forces in the region. "Our goal is to have Army forces in the Indo-Pacific seven to eight months out of the year," Wormuth said.'

The USA will place more visible combat forces in the region, but Australia, Japan and Taiwan will have to fight to the last Australian, Japanese and Taiwanese. If all is lost, the USA will simply run away with tails between its legs, like in Vietnam, leaving the South to deal with the North. Or like in Afghanistan, leaving the USA supported Government troops to deal with the Taliban farmers. Unfortunately, they also learned from the USA how best to flee with tails between the legs, which they did.
Do not be misguided that the USA stationing more combat troops is to be used to fight to the last American. Far from it. They learned their lesson in Vietnam and Afghanistan.

There are 4 things that need to happen for Yuan in the unlikely, imho, event of it replacing the USD
1) Open capital account
2) unfettered movements in and out of very large integrated capital markets
3) persistent trade deficits
4) minimal political interference. Can't see any of the 4 happening anytime soon or even at all, can you?
One may hate the USA for all one wishes, the point remains better the devil you know than the devil that you don't. The reserves managers ain't stupid. So not likely the USD will be knock off its perch as the reserve currency of choice and even if it did, Yuan won't replace the USD - at best just one among several.
China will not allow the Yuan to replace the US$. It is too risky and open to American manipulation. But the Yuan would be allowed to be a major player so that China and the rest of he world would not be blackmailed by the US$. The US$ would continue to exist but in a smaller role, cannpt exploit and take advantage of the rest of the world. No more free lunch for the Americans.
China would protect the Yuan to be a safe currency for international trade in a multi polar and multi currency world.

I believe China already mentioned that it is not intending to make the Yuan as the global reserve currency. China just wants to allow the Yuan to be a major player like the Euro, and together with BRICS members are exploring the creation of an alternative global reserve currency and a new settlement system away from SWIFT. Sure, it will take time, but it will come around at some point.
The US$ will still remain, just like the British Pound, but would not be the only alternative currency for trade.
