Venezuela – Invasion 101, American boys and girls deserve to die

The Americans are gearing up for an invasion of Venezuela using a 20^th Century text book plan. Smear a popularly elected President, imposed sanctions to cripple the economy and turn the people against their President, then picked an American financed and sponsored outsider and named him the American chosen President with American support and the support of American allies.

When the American puppet is in place, warned the govt of the day not to touch him or it would be an excuse for a military invasion like they had done in the Middle East. In the meantime continues with political and economic pressure to bring down the govt of the day, for a text book regime change.

While preparing for an invasion, get the support of the neighbouring countries to give access to American soldiers to move to the borders of Venezuela to mount an invasion. Get the American allies to drum up support in all forms, including military aids, weapons and soldiers to form a coalition of the willing.

The Maduro govt is now underseige from external forces and internal rebels. Any small country would quickly crumble under such pressures from the Evil Empire. In this case Maduro’s govt is lucky to have the support of Russia, China and Cuba to provide all assistance needed to stay in power, military, economic, financial and political. The Russians also have a text book plan to counter such regime change they learned from their successful experience in Syria, ie meeting force with force. The only thing the evil Americans feared is a counter military force as strong as theirs.

The rest of the Americans, many still pretending to be peace loving people, are waiting for the invasion to take place. There are a lot of money to be made and a lot of war heroes to be decorated. They could look to military victory parades and raising the American flags high in the poles. Time for celebration.

But not all Americans would be partying. Many of the unfortunate and unlucky ones would have to receive their darling boys and girls coming home in black plastic bags. And they would have to live the rest of their lives without them except memories of their loved ones invading another country and died doing so.

The Americans must be reminded that many of their innocent boys and girls are gonna die in Venezuela instead of having their hamburgers and hotdogs on a Sunday morning in the parks while they cry for the blood of the Venezuelans, a people that did them no harm.

Venezuela will be Vietnam once more but closer to home. The sad thing is that some of the people neighbouring Venezuela would also end up as gun fodder, many would also die for no reason except being drag into a war by the Evil Americans. The Brazilians and the Columbians with mentality like some South East Asian people, thinking war is fun and very fun to fight on the side of the Americans, sure win wars, never mind if their people ended up dying for the Evil American Empire would be most ready to join in the fun.

Who says war is not fun? Who says people don’t like wars? The USA is a nation of people steep in the culture of wars and cannot live without wars. After decades of continuous warfare and seeing so many of their boys and girls coming home dead, they did not squirm or feel remorseful about it. They would create opportunities to start wars to send their boys and girls to die in wars.

PS. If this happens in Singapore, Guaido would be arrested immediately for conspiring with foreign powers to overthrown an elected govt. Singapore govt should open its mouth on grounds of principle that external interference in the internal affairs of a country to conduct regime change is unacceptable, illegal and against the rule of law.

Singapore football – Nazri did the impossible

Believe it or not, Nazri led the Lions to a 1-0 victory over arch rival Malaysia in the Air Marine Cup in KL, not on home ground. And this is an international event involving all Asian countries. Singapore will now meet Oman in the Finals while Malaysia will play Afghanistan for third place.

And believe it or not, Nazri is only a caretaker coach, not paid like the foreign coaches, and only in the job for a few weeks. And he did what the foreign coaches could not do in just a short time and with so little pay. A caretake coach cannot be paid much, definitely not the way they paid the super talented and super expensive foreign coaches.

Oh, some may say this was a flash in the pan event. Fluke lah. But a win is a win and Malaysia was not being kind to Singapore on home ground in KL. They would not kelong the match to make Nazri or Singapore looked good in beating the Malaysian national team.

It was a big win for Singapore. Now, are they still going around the world looking for the magic foreign coach to win matches for Singapore? Or would they give the job to Nazri and remove his caretaker coach title?

Nazri and his team did not disappoint in the Finals last night against Oman. The score line was 1-1 and Singapore lost the Airmarine Cup in penalty kicks 5-4.

Wildlife executed for savage robbery

Micheal Garing, a 30-year-old Malaysian, was executed at Changi Prison on Friday (Mar 22)....the Judges of Appeal saying then that the "sheer brutality" exhibited by Micheal, who had attacked Mr Dillidurai in a "totally savage and merciless manner", warranted the death penalty....

In May 29, 2010, Micheal and three other friends - Tony Imba, Hairee Landa and Donny Meluda - had set out from a friend’s house with a plan to commit robbery. Micheal had armed himself with a 58cm parang.

Over the course of that night and the wee hours of the following day, Micheal and his friends robbed and caused severe injuries to three other victims.

Mr Dillidurai was cycling on the footpath along Kallang Road when he was attacked by the group. Tony knocked Mr Dillidurai off his bicycle and Micheal slit Mr Dillidurai’s throat and cut off his left hand.

The victim, whose wallet was taken by the attackers, also suffered a skull fracture and deep wounds on his back and left forearm.

How many of these sweet wildlife are still among us and waiting to display their primitive savage instinct? There was no need for butchering the victims in a robbery. The wildlife was not thinking of robbery but wanton killing of the innocents on the roads. They showed contempt and total disrespect for the law and brutally attacked their victims, not just to rob a few dollars, but to kill and hurt like savages. How could we sleep in peace with so many wildlife in the country, in our neighbourhood?

How many daft Singaporeans out there are still in love with the unknown wildlife in their midst? Singaporeans' stupidity has no cure. The savages are inhuman.

In the above case the court commented that under Singapore's law, all foreigners and Singaporeans would be treated equally. I don't agree. Look at the case of the rioters at Silat Road as reported in Channel News Asia.

' Yadwinder pleaded guilty after a five-day trial to rioting with a deadly weapon, failing to present travel documents upon departure and extortion with common intention.

Two months before the riot, he and four others extorted S$200 from a 21-year-old Indian national. They threatened to report her to the Housing and Development Board (HDB) for supposedly having more than the legal number of tenants in her flat....

According to a list prepared by Deputy Public Prosecutor Jason Chua, Yadwinder had been committing crimes repeatedly since 2015, three years after arriving in Singapore to work in construction.'

Such unrepentant wildlife that committed repetitive crimes in Singapore should be deported long ago to prevent them from disturbing the peace and threatening the lives of Singaporeans.

Foreigners - How many more to bear before the problem goes out of control?

Referencing an editorial published in Chinese-language daily Lianhe Zaobao on Feb 22, Mr Chee said that the number of S Pass and Work Permit holders in the services sector has increased by 34,000 in the last three years.

“The editorial hit the nail on the head by observing that if we do not control the total number of foreign workers, it will affect the employment outcomes of local workers and lead to socio-political problems in Singapore,” he said. “We have seen this happen in other countries.”

This, he said, was the key reason why the Government proceeded with the tightening.

“On balance, we decided that it was better to make a move now to moderate the overall number of foreign workers in Singapore before the problem gets out of hand,” he said. “As the Zaobao editorial said, the DRC tightening is necessary bitter medicine.”....

Also known as the Dependency Ratio Ceiling (DRC), the quota tables the maximum permitted ratio of foreign workers to the total workforce that a company can employ.

The DRC for that sector will be further cut – in two stages – from the current 40 per cent to 35 per cent by 2021.

The S Pass sub-DRC will be lowered from 15 per cent to 10 per cent eventually in 2021.

The above are measures that the govt is going to take. Does the govt know how easy it is to overcome these changes and restrictions? Would the govt also be tightening the approval of foreigners to become citizens? If not, then they simply apply to be citizens like they used to do over the last few decades and no one is wiser with all the foreigners now becoming part of the statistics as locals.

What about the DRC, does the govt know that many companies in Chennai Business Park in Changi employed almost 90 or 100% foreigners, mostly from India? Or the govt is still sleeping, never been to that part of Singapore or simply does not want to know? Turn to look away? The enclaves of Indian nationals in Singapore, in companies and in private housing estates are so stark that no one can miss them and nothing is being done to it? Would the few comments in Parliament make any difference or just end in Parliament once Parliament goes into recess?

Look at the numbers from MOM below. No one knows what is happening? Everyone on holiday, never read these reports for so many years? Or because their balls are stuck in the CECA and afraid of being sued by India?


'The latest foreign workforce numbers released by MOM last week, however, showed that the number of foreign PMETs in Singapore has continued to rise.

The latest figures show that even though the number of foreign PMETs on Employment Pass (EP) has decreased slightly in the last 2 years from 192,300 to 185,800, the total number of foreign PMETs (such as those on EP and S Pass) has been increasing.

In 2013, the total number of foreign PMETs was 336,000. This number rose to 349,000 in 2014, 366,500 in 2015, 372,000 in 2016, 372,100 in 2017 and finally, 381,300 last year.

In 2018, the number of foreign PMETs on EP decreased by 1,900 compared to 2017 but the number of S Pass holders shot up by 11,100 in 2018, reaching a new high of 195,500.' Posted in theindependent.sg

The total number for foreign PMETs has been going up and up, from 349,000 in 2014 to 381,300 in 2018. The most painful thing is that more and more Singaporeans PMETs are being retrenched. What does this say for the pro Singaporeans or pro foreigners policy? Singaporeans, you die your business, foreigners can come and take over your place and your jobs.

Who voted the govt to do this to Singaporeans?

There is no lack of good jobs for Singaporeans, counting the 381,300 jobs given to foreign PMETs and probably another 200,000 given to new citizens. There is no good reasons why Singaporeans PMETs should be retrenched, formed the bulk of retrenched workers and with many young Singaporeans partially employed ie on part time or short term contract jobs.

This is a very serious problem affecting ordinary Singaporeans, not the millionaire politicians.

Govt log in data on sale

Front page news of thenewpaper read like this, ‘Govt log-in data on sale on dark web – Email addresses and passwords were ‘not leaked from government systems but from officers who used them for personal purposes’. Ok, the data were not leaked, but using them for private purposes would only reveal the email addresses, how did the passwords got ‘leaked’ or stolen? Passwords are not things that are laid in the open to be picked up.
 
The article said among the agencies named by a Russian cyber security company IB ‘were the Government Technology Agency(Gov-Tech), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and the Singapore Police Force. MOH has been in the news for losing 1.5 million SingHealth patients’ personal data, including Hsien loong’s, also breaches including illegal access of 72 HealthHub accounts and the infamous ‘leaked of information of 14,200 patients from the HIV Registry and improper handling of data belonging to more than 800,000 blood donors by a vendor last week’.
 
First question, were these leaked or stolen information arising from hacking by external sources? Or were they leaked by internal sources, or were they leaked due to mishandling or mismanagement? The ways the data were leaked or stolen have different implications. If from external sources hacking into the system, that is a protection problem, poor firewalls or anti hacking systems installed. If from internal sources, then who were the parties involved, Singaporeans, locals or foreigners hired to maintain the IT systems, or if due to mishandling or mismanagement, like the HIV case, the culprits and problems are different and needed to deal with differently.
 
The most frightening and dangerous part in the chain of IT protection is internal sources. Like they said, it is very difficult to prevent theft from within, thieves living inside the premises.
 
So what is what? Were the problems highlighted, with so many ministries involved, a matter of officers using their govt emails freely, indiscriminately, showing off their passwords to everyone, or was this a more serious problem that cannot be brushed away so simply and innocently? Cannot tell, don’t want to tell or telling it as something so innocuous?

Italy – The BRI is a new paradigm for humankind towards a share destiny

When UK joined the AIIB, the Americans freak out. The dam of opposition against this China initiative was broken and the rest of Europe and other pro western countries took the cue and joined AIIB as well leaving the Americans alone in the wilderness. But although the AIIB was a key pillar to support the BRI project, some of the key European countries ironically are still resisting to join the BRI. The western narrative is that BRI is a Chinese strategy to divide Europe, to invade and colonise Europe. The ludicrous narrative from Washington and major European capitals is unbelievable. The assets are built in their soil and they have complete control over them and could seize them for any false flag incidents or fabricated excuses.
 
China’s BRI or the New Silk Road is about building connectivity, roads and rails and sea routes to connect Europe and Africa through Central Asia to China that would improve and facilitate communication and transportation for trade. It is not about building walls like what Trump wanted to keep countries and people apart. And according to the western anti China narrative, this BRI is bad and would lead to war.
 
Italy is now standing up to challenge the American and western narrative by looking at the BRI as a new paradigm for a community of humankind, a share common future and destiny for humankind. And Italy is going to be the first G7 country to break the dam of resistance and lead Europe into the BRI. Italy is not the first European country to do so. 13 other European countries have already signed MOU on the BRI with China, including Spain, Portugal, Greece and many East European countries.
 
The Italian initiative to break ranks with the Americans and G7 countries has caused a major uproar in the US and the Americans freak out again, literally. The Americans even warned the Italians not to sign the MOU or face consequences as if the Italians are joining forces with China militarily to go to war with the Americans.
 
Italy is not going to be told what to do against its national interest like Germany is not going to stop using Huawei’s 5G technology because the Americans said so. Like the East European countries, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece have joined the new poor of European countries. Together they see hope in the BRI to bring economic growth, trade and development for their countries. Many cities in France and Germany, two major European countries still sharing the same hostile thinking as the Americans in opposing China for political reasons, are going against their govts and want to be part of the BRI.
 
The BRI and the immense benefits it is bringing to all the 156 countries in the project are too good to resist. Italy is not going to miss the boat. The BRI is going to revive the deteriorating economy of the Italians and this is a new hope to stimulate growth in Italy, linking Italy to Central Asia and China and also to Africa.
 
Nothing is going to stop Italy, not cry wolf rhetoric, and Italy is going to do the right thing for its own good. Xi Jinping is visiting Italy in the next couple of days to welcome Italy into the BRI. Once done, all the defences and negative allegations against China and the BRI would break down, and the rest of Europe would fall in line.
 
The last bastion of resistance is the USA. Would it be left out in the cold alone again, or would it also fall in and be part of the new paradigm of a common destiny for all humankind, a more connected world and grow and prosper together instead of warmongering, starting and fighting wars?

PS. Schiller Institute’s Helga Zepp LaRouche enthusiastically welcomed the decision by Italy to sign an MOU with China, to join the Belt-and-Road Initiative (BRI), as it demonstrates that the City of London geopolitical networks are losing their ability to dictate policy in Europe.

The Americans at their baddest best

The main media are quite reticent about the developments in Venezuela and the dirty parts played by the Americans to conduct regime change to bring down popularly elected President Maduro. The latest, all are options on the table, meaning an invasion and war. This is how lightly the evil Americans treat war, death and destruction of other countries and their people. The Americans are addicted to war.
 
After imposing trade sanctions against Venezuela to cripple its economy and bringing hardship to the Venezuelans, including destroying the value of its currency, it is now pressuring its allies to stop trading with Venezuela. India has been told to stop buying oil from Venezuela and the leverage, to remove India from the most favoured nation in trade with the US.
 
Is this what you called influencing the policies of another country? Is this not interfering with the domestic affairs of another country? How more bad things would the Americans do to convince the world that it is an Evil Empire? I think every country knows that but are living in fear that they would be next. So the next best thing to do, other than coming out openly to support the mischief of the Americans, is to shut up.
 
No country is going to tell the Americans that they are breaking all protocols and decency in international relations, not following the rule of law. No country would say anything in the name of rule of law when the world’s number One Outlaw is doing its evil best to destroy another country.
 
In the meantime the Venezuelan people are suffering from the sanctions with inflation running at record level, not due to mismanagement of Maduro but trade sanctions and the conspiracy of the white regimes to steal and rob their wealth, their oil, their assets and money in the western country’s banks. And the Venezuelan people did not have a clue who did it to destroy their country and their lives. And the western propaganda machine is putting all the blame on Maduro and praising the unknown CIA trained Guaido as the legitimate leader.
 
The latest, a week of nation wide blackout due to power failure done by you know who. People died. People that were hooked onto machine when their lives depended on power supply just died. Who were behind this? Maduro told his people he knew who did it. No need to guess. And who suffered from it? No need to guess. Who got blamed for it, Maduro of course.
 
Take heed, when the Evil Empire is at its baddest, the whole world cringed and hid themselves under the table, not to be seen or heard, or they would be the next victim of the Evil Empire. No one would be brave enough to open his big mouth to tell the Evil Empire to obey the rule of law based on principles.
 
Be frightened of the evil white men when they are out to kill and destroy. They are extremely vicious and hostile, and very destructive at their best.

The Rape of the Stock Market

There use to be a saying, the stock market is always there. No matter how quiet or depressing is the state of market activities, the stock market will not die or go away. This use to be the unspoken truth but I am increasingly seeing the stock market dying or shrinking to a point that it is no longer meaningful.
 
The whole rational for the existence of a stock market has been eroded by the proliferation of derivatives and computer tradings. Derivatives are instruments that piggyback on stocks and diverting interests from trading stocks directly, thus undermining the real value of stocks. The more funds are diverted to trade in derivatives, the lesser will be the interests in stocks. Algo and computer trading are more dangerous to the values of stocks as they have no interest or respect for the real value and prices of stocks. They trade either way to profit and could drive the prices of stocks against their real values, against their fundamentals. As a result, stock prices are in their doldrums and many are undervalued and defeat the purpose for listing. When listed companies could not raise funds from the market due to unacceptably low PEs against high listing fees and costs, many good companies would choose to delist instead.
 
Yes, there will be IPOs. But these are desperadoes wanting to raise some funds from the public. Unfortunately such fund raisings are likely to be a one time affair. After listing, through lack of investor support and a stock market in coma, many stocks would end up as penny stocks, worthless, left to die prematurely and ended up being suspended from trading.
 
The short sighted fund managers and exchange administrators could not see further than their eyes as to where the stock market is heading. Without the stock market, there would not be any derivatives to talk about. Without the stock market, the REITs too would disappear. Without the stock market, the computer traders would have no where to trade and exploit the small investors.
 
The whole stock gambling industry is based on the existence of a stock market, real or fictitious. Neglect and allowing the stock market to die a natural death would drag the whole industry into the grave.
 
New gambling chits could be devised as variation of derivatives without the stock market. Some may think this is a viable option, trading in fictitious paper instruments in place of real stocks and shares. If the administrators continue to choose to let the stock market peters away as an irrelevant or obsolete beast, can there still be computer trading, derivatives, fund investments, online trading etc etc that are parts and parcels of a thriving finance industry? The stock market is the corner stone on which a whole industry is built on.
 
The stock market depends not only on the derivative writers, the algo and computer traders, but also on the listed companies and the investors. A stock market that only protects the derivative writers and algo/computer traders and failed to protect the interests of listed companies and investors would lose its raison d’tre to exist. When companies see it futile to list in a stock exchange there will be no need or interest in the exchange.
 
Whither the stock market? Why is the stock market dying? When would the abuse and rape of the stock market be put to an end?

The white truth - New Zealand a safe and peaceful country

In a Facebook post on Friday, Mr Shanmugam condemned the attack as a "horrific massacre".
"New Zealand is a peaceful country. Seen as a model of race relations," he said. "Today it suffered a horrific massacre of 49 innocent persons."

"Hours later, an Australian senator issued an Islamophobic statement, describing Islam as a violent, fascist religion, and said it promoted savage beliefs," said the minister. "He also attacked the Prophet, and blamed Muslim immigration for the massacre."

Added the minister: "The senator’s statement is sickening. It is completely unacceptable. And he issued it when people are grieving."

The above CNA article shows the divergence of views between the whites and the coloured people, or between an Australian white politician and a Singaporean minister. One condemned the massacre of the innocents and another blamed the religion and its beliefs. Trump even said that the hatred against the Muslims and Islam is a minority view. Sure, enough minorities to kill so many people in broad daylight. 

Another glaring difference is that white supremacist and racist groups are not monitored the way the others are monitored and often left alone, unmonitored and free to spread their extremist views.

Another interesting white view of truth is this comment about how safe New Zealand is against this shooting, and also parroted by Shanmugam above, that New Zealand is a peaceful country.

This is reported in another article in CNA. Notice the glaring discrepancy? New Zealand is a peaceful country, a secure and welcoming place with 4.8m people and an annual statistics of 50 murders. Singapore has nearly 6m people, how many murders are there annually here? Can you imagine we have 50 murders in a year? If that is the case, no one would dare to come to Singapore. But in New Zealand, 50 murders is an accepted normal and good enough to call the country a secure and welcoming place.

Now another 50 dead will be added to make it at least 100 for year 2019, and by the year end could be more.

How many of you would accept a country with a population of 4.8m and 50 murders a year as a peaceful and secure place? Thanks for this report, or else we would not know that there are so many murders in New Zealand. We always have this impression that New Zealand is a safe and welcoming place. I have changed my mind about this peaceful picture of New Zealand.

PS. New Zealand is a peaceful country because they have planted that in your mind. Even Shanmugam parroted that notion above. Now with this statistics, do you still want to believe that New Zealand is a peaceful country? Of course the academics would say it depends on your definition or formula for peaceful. If 50 murders a year for a 4.8m pop is the yardstick for a peaceful country then it is peaceful. This is called technically peaceful according to a formula or yardstick.

Siti Nurhayati - Keep running girl

Arms pumping, legs churning, heart pounding, the 16-year-old blitzes down the lane. No distractions, no worries, no stress. ...Siti runs fast and she has to - she's part of Team Singapore's contingent of 30 athletes who will participate at the Special Olympics World Games 2019 from Mar 14 – 21. Held in Abu Dhabi, the event is for athletes with intellectual disabilities, and this year marks Singapore’s tenth year participating.

Singapore's athletics team has eight members and Siti is arguably the most experienced of the lot.

Sports can bring life to people in different circumstances and the para Olympics and other para Meets are occasions that give the para athletes a chance to show their prowess in their sports.  I wish Siti and her team mates all the best and bring back more medals to do Singapore proud.

3-5 May 19, Singapore would be holding the first South East Asia cum Singapore Masters Athletics Meet here. The importance of this inaugural Meet can be seen by where it is being held. It was initially to be held at Toa Payoh Stadium, then Gombak Stadium, and finally Bishan Stadium.  At one stage it was supposed to be held at the open practice track next the National Stadium. This is how important this Meet is, and how important the masters athletes are to the people in charge of sports.

I bet they would not even report about it when the event is being held, right here in Singapore.

And there is a bigger Meet in December, the Asian Masters in Kuching, Malaysia. Singapore or is it the Singapore Masters Athletics Association, will be sending a contingent of seniors to compete in this Meet. Would the sports officials be interested in them? Would the media be bothered to cover the events and the athletes like they covered the para athletes?  The seniors, the masters athletes, not important, no point covering or reporting about them?

When would they gain recognition and support from the govt and be treated at least as important as the para athletes?

So how CPF?

In December, Mr Toh checked the total amount in his CPF account and found that he had $67,562.78 in the account.

The retiree revealed that he received a letter from CPF Board recently, informing him that the balance in his Retirement Account (RA) balance is S$646.86. The letter said that his last estimated payout will be in May 2019, since he receives a $250 payout monthly.

Mr Toh shared: “On 31/12/2018 my total amount across my CPF was S$67,562.78, which means CPF is keeping S$66,665.92 of my savings in my CPF money away from me for Ordinary Account (OA), Special Account (SA) and Medisave Account(MA).

“Why keep so much of life saving money saved in my CPF account away from a 70-year-old healthy senior citizen? Is my lifetime money reserved for OA, SA and MA account more important than my money for retirement expenses?”...


“In the event that Ian commits suicide, kills someone or is killed, I will hold all relevant persons and ministries accountable for failing to release my funds for his alternative medical treatments…”


This was the warning an unemployed mother of a mentally-ill son issued to the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board recently, after the authority rejected her request to withdraw her CPF savings.
The mother, 55-year-old Carena Tan, had asked to withdraw S$70,000 from her Retirement Account to fund her family’s living expenses and treatment for her son, who apparently suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Noting that Ms Tan would not be able to set aside the full retirement sum of S$171,000 in her Retirement Account if she withdrew the S$70,000 she applied to withdraw, CPF Board rejected her request. It instead asked her to “re-consider approaching the Social Service Office @ Bukit Panjang for financial assistance.”

Both cases were reported in theindependent.  These are the painful stories that are being kept from seeing the light in the main media. There are so many grouses and pains inflicted on the people when they are not allowed, by legislation, to enjoy their life savings that are supposed to be for their retirement. These two cases are just the tip of the iceberg. Many are suffering in silence and living in despair, hapless when the govt decided what to do with their money against their will.

The people affected are starting to curse the people that made them suffered for the want of their own money under all kinds of ridiculous excuses and changing the goal posts. To be daily and repeatedly curse by the people is not a good thing to live with. The evil doers would not believe that the curses would hurt them in any way and would continue to scheme against the people and their CPF savings.

Let them be, let them live with the curses of people adversely affected by their bad decisions. Let them live happily with their millions in their savings and assets.

Planting white lies, western narratives and agenda into the heads of the unthinking and unwary

Many innocent readers, especially the English educated whose main source of news is from western media, would unwittingly be victims of western propaganda and white lies without knowing it unless they are conscious and critical of what they read. It is so easy to plant ideas, lies and narratives to the readers and over time these would become the talking points of the readers. They would talk about these narratives and assume the same thought process, with the agenda and phrases planted into their heads.
 
Many bananas, some highly trained and educated, even the supposedly critical community of journalists and academics, are passive victims to the western agenda and narratives. If one does not look at the world with one’s own eyes and look at them critically from one’s own interest and perspective, it is very easy to go with the trend, discuss or think about things that the western media want them to think and talk about, using their terminologies and their versions of the truth or their alternate truths.
 
Some of the common trends of thoughts and phrases are debt traps, an assertive China that is bad, China bashing, the Axis of Evil etc etc. The West is repeating the trap idea for China bashing while China is offering aids and knowhow to help the poorer countries. Aids and cheap loans are needed by the poorer countries to drive their economies to better the lives of their people. They need money and knowhow from somewhere and the givers are their benefactors.
 
Today, the benefactors like China are not colonialists or imperialists that came with guns to conquer and rob the countries at gun points. The aids, loans etc etc are negotiated and accepted on a willing buyer willing seller basis. There is no coercion or force or threats applied in these deals unlike colonial times when the victims had no choice, could not bargain or negotiate. The white masters, the invaders dictated the terms.
 
The idea of debt trap is created by the West to smear China while refusing to look at the benefits China brought to the rest of the world. There would be some that fell into debt traps, some due to corruption, some self inflicted, some due to mistakes or mismanagement, not intended in the agreements. These countries would not have signed on the dotted lines if they did not agree or if the terms were unfair to them. For every country that fell into a debt trap, there are tens of countries that are very happy with the aids and loans from China. If the Chinese assistance is so bad, they would have turned to the IMF or World Bank or their ex colonial masters for help. The Chinese aids and loans must be very much more attractive to these poorer nations for them to go to Beijing instead of the West.
 
Another example is that China is an expansionist power, an aggressive or militant power, Communist regime therefore bad. The latter need no explanation if one is willing to open one’s eyes to see the wars the Americans are conducting and engaged in. As for expansionist China, just ask what expansionist means. The US is all over the world, from the eastern Pacific Ocean to the western Pacific Ocean, from the western Atlantic Ocean to the eastern Atlantic Ocean and into central Asia.
 
Look at a chess board for easy analogy. The whole chess board is occupied by the USA with China in a corner with 2 or 3 squares. This is the current status quo or balance of power in the world. The Americans have expanded and occupied all the squares in a chess board except for a few in a corner left for China. Why is it that no one is talking about American expansion? And why is China called an expansionist power when it is trying to push back to take back a few squares from the Americans when the Americans have taken practically everything?
 
No, the western media would only look at China trying to move out of its little corner as expansionist. The occupation of the rest of the chess board is their normal. China cannot move out of its corner, it is expansionist. This is their narrative, their world, the American Empire. China cannot share the rest of the world except to confine to its little corner, within its land borders.
 
For the unthinking, they would accept this as the reality and status quo. Changing the status quo is bad. Therefore China is bad. This is the result of reading the western media unthinkingly and accepting the western truth and western lies and seeing the world from the perspective of the West as the Empire that rules the world.
 
Should this be the status quo, the accepted state of things? Why is it so wrong and so expansionist for China to want a few more squares to move more freely and breathe a bit more fresh air? Why is China’s financial and economic aid to the rest of the world be just about debt traps and not about helping these countries that needed the aid and the assistance from China? The ex colonies of the West have been exploited, robbed, looted and kept in various stages of underdevelopment by the West. China is giving them an opportunity to move out of their poverty trap caused by the West. Is this bad?
 
It is very dangerous not to think and see the world in one’s own perspective. It is even more dangerous to see the world in other people’s perspective without knowing that one is also a victim in the bigger scheme of things. It is silly not to know that one’s thinking and view of the world are being planted and dictated by others and against one’s interests in the long run.
 
Do not become unwitting accomplices of the West in China bashing. Do not allow the West to tell you what to think, what to say, and how to think.
 
PS. The country that is suffering from the biggest debt trap is the USA. And they are very happy about it, growing their debt bubble. Of course they could get away with it by printing more money out of nothing.

Land scarce Singapore?

Many would take this nonsensical comment that Singapore is land scarce as the gospel truth and would subscribe to all the follow up measures the govt is taking to increase land and building high and low and into the sea.  An analogy to this is the claim that the politicians are underpaid despite their multi million dollar salary that is out of this world. The logic is simple economics. They have unlimited wants and nothing is enough. Give them a billion dollar salary and they would claim not enough.

Singapore is land scarce, based on what logic or reasoning? When there are only 2 persons on the island, Singapore would have excess of land for two on the island. Singapore would still be comfortable with the existing 724 sq km of land if it does not have the megalomaniac desire to grow its population to 7m or more. Similarly, Singapore would have enough water resources if it does not have this wild and flirtatious plan for population expansion just for the reason of economic growth and growth that is unsustainable and a double edged sword that would eventually destroyed Singapore.

There is no need for all the extravagant and expensive building projects to create more land just to bring in more wildlife into the island. Be satisfied, enough, and grow the economy by quality, by higher productivity, not by adding more wildlife into the island and claims that land is scarce, water not enough, and must resort to very expensive solution that would only raise the cost of living in the island. 

The proposed futuristic islands in the sea are well and good, but at what cost and who can afford it? Are they necessary if we don't increase our population to the point of bursting at the seams?

Singapore has plenty of land, more than enough, if we stop this irresponsible and dangerous population explosion scheme. Singapore is not land scarce if the govt does not make unduly demands on the land by wanting to put in another few millions of wildlife here.

Boeing 737 Max 8 crashes

More and more companies flying the deadly Boeing 737 Max 8 planes are starting to suspend flights using these planes. The Americans would not want to be seen to do it for their own selfish reasons as the reputation of Boeing would be at stake. The big question is whether there is a very serious and dangerous flaw in the software or hardware of the Boeing 737 Max 8 that warrants an immediate stoppage of these planes. The two crashes came within months of each other and happened to almost new planes must have sent a red warning to all its operators. Would this be a case for playing safe and ground all these planes pending further investigations or to continue flying and believing that all is well until another crash?

There have been many speculations as to the possible causes of the crashes. One went as far as saying that they are testing if they have full control of the planes and can crash them as and when they wanted. And the two crashes were just part of their testing plans involving third world countries like Indonesia and Ethiopia and any death or loss of properties would be just collateral damages. This allegation is serious but not a total impossibility knowing how cruel and devious the Americans are.

Since the disappearance of MH 370, there have been talks of it being hijacked by someone or some country that were able to take over control of the plane. The need to control planes from the ground took on extra urgency after the 911 incident in New York. Hijackers must not be allowed to take control of planes in mid air and ground controllers cannot do anything about it. Ground controllers must be able to override the pilot in the cockpit and take over control of aircraft. Is this the new normal built into Boeing and American manufactured aircraft?

It is unimaginable that someone would willfully crash the two Boeing 737 Max 8s just to confirm that they have full control of the planes from the ground and could bring the plane down at will. Is this the reason why the Americans have no reason to fear about the Boeing planes crashing but for those operators that were inconsequential to the Americans to be unduly worried that the next crash test would be held at their expense?

From some videos being circulated in the internet, the vertical nose dive of the plane was not normal. It showed that the plane was diving straight into the ground as if controlled and the pilot could not do anything to recover from the steep dive. Not sure if these videos are fakes. If they are genuine, the story behind the crashes is very intimidating, scary and criminal.

Is this fiction or real?

CAAS has taken the initiative to ban all Boeing 737 Max 8 into and out of Changi. This is a prudent decision as Singapore cannot afford a B737 falling out of the sky and into a densely populated area. And what did the American FAA said, as expected, Boeing 737 Max 8 is airworthy. Really?
What would it said and do if the crashes were Russian or Chinese planes? Would they order the ICAO to ban all these planes from all the airports in the whole world? Would the narratives in the western media be so mild or with wild allegations and instilling more fear and making more demands on checks and inspections on the makers of the planes? Two similar accidents killing all the passengers not good enough?

Singapore fixed by CNN to be anti China

Singapore is in damage control mode after being complicit by a CNN report that it is a party to the American’s anti China policy in the region. CNN claimed that the purchase of F35 fighter jets was ‘indicative of growing concerns within Asia regarding China’s regional ambitions’. The report ‘also suggested that the acquisition carried a message to China as Singapore will become “the fourth American ally” in the Pacific region to won F35s, after Australia, Japan and South Korea”. It also made it a point to magnify ‘Singapore as a “close and long time US ally” that even hosts a US Navy facility’.
 
With all the praises of how close Singapore is in the American camp and with the American pitching against the Chinese presence in the region, Singapore has been dragged into the deep pit of the American design to contain China, in the camp opposing China. This message to China is what the Americans are putting into Singapore’s mouth to compromise Singapore’s position and forced Singapore into the American camp and unable to extricate itself. With friends like the Americans, who needs enemies?
 
Singapore is now furiously trying to dispute this allegation. Mindef has came out strongly to deny this and that the acquisition of the F35s ‘is for Singapore’s own defence deterrence and not directed against or to align itself with any particular country… and Singapore is not a treaty ally of the US’.
 
After being tarred and feathered deliberately by the CNN as an American lackey, would the explanation by Mindef makes any difference in the eyes of China? Would China really believe that Singapore is not anti China, and not to forget with so many anti China articles in the Singapore media, not only written by foreigners but also written and produced by Singaporeans?
 
How would China view Singapore with all these developments? How would Singapore convince China that it is not anti China? Is there anything that Singapore can do to tell China that these are all white lies, Singapore is innocent?
 
Is Singapore in deeper trouble with China now? As they said, jump into the Yellow River also cannot cleanse oneself. The Americans are hyping this purchase as confirmation that Asean countries wanting the presence of the Americans in the region. It is not so simple as buying 4 F35s. The Americans are exploiting Singapore’s purchase to fix Singapore as anti China.
 
Better send Chan Chun Sing to China as a special envoy of Hsien Loong to explain Singapore’s real position. Not sure if it would make any difference.

The unthinking bananas can only parrot the western narrative

“We can earn about the same amount, but we’d spend longer hours,” complained the 38-year-old. “They’d surely ride with their own people (Chinese-run tuk-tuk). They won’t ride with us.”

A country that had once struggled to keep up with its Southeast Asian neighbours is now one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. But has it truly prospered from China’s money?

Or will the investments trap it in a debt that would turn it into a client state? (The authors must be thinking this last sentence is a very clever statement to make.  A politically correct statement and music to the westerners. Sooo clever, sooo intellectual! The first thing that came to mind when I read this article in CNA is this, is this article necessary, what is the intent or agenda of this article? Why would our jornalists be writing this kind of article that badmouthed China instead of talking about the benefits that Chinese money is bringing to help the development of poor and developing countries? The thinking process is western, banana like, that everything China did is bad. This is the western narrative to smear anything the Chinese do and our silly bananas just swallowed hook, line and sinker, thinking, oops, they cannot think, that this how to view Chinese investments, they called it FDI, that is being courted by every country. Without the Chinese contributing to their FDI, they were be trapped in their poverty trap, no money, no know how to uplift their economies and the lives of their people.

The West have been writing barrage of articles to smear Chinese development in Africa in the same vein, bad. China has poured in billions and trillions of good money into Africa unlike the colonialists that went there to conquer and loot the countries. The white colonialists simply took everything from the African countries and also Asian countries like the IndoChinese countries and countries in Southeast Asia, includingSingapore. But the westerners and the bananas never say anything bad about the exploitation of the white colonialists.

China is now seen as a first mover in Africa and taking advantage of this move to gain influence in Africa by investing in infrastructure development. Why is China the first mover and not the Europeans that were there colonising the continent for the last few centuries? Why the colonialists did not have first mover advantage to gain influence in Africa. Because they were there to exploit the Africans and after taking all they wanted, they left the African countries like the skin of squeezed oranges. China only moved into Africa recently, and into Cambodia, Laos and Vietnem to invest, not to conquer and to loot.

Hey bananas, can you tell the difference between colonialism, conquest and looting vis a vis foreign direct investment, FDI, invited by the countries that needed the money and know how to build their countries left in a pathetic state after centuries of colonialism, exploitation and wars?

The only light in this article is that Singaporeans can write if given a chance, but are not given the opportunity to write about Singapore but about other countries. And Singapore news and interests are written by foreigners in our editorial pages. We give foreigners the right to write about us and to influence our people's thinking with foreign agenda and the end result is how bananas think like in the above article.

Why aren't our local journalists, shit, I am using a bad word, I mean Singaporean journalists, be given a bigger role in writing about Singaporean affairs, not about dogs and pets and hawker foods, or children formula milk powder,but serious political and economic issues in our main media? Use the talent of our journalists expeditiously to foster good relations with our neighbours not to parrot the western narratives.

It is in the interest of Singapore to stop badmouthing China to please the West or to speak and think like the West to smear China. It is for our own good to shut up and go quietly doing our things and not being busybody unless Singapore wants to make an enemy out of China. In that case, keep doing this kind of things and have more anti China articles written by the West and our very own bananas in our main media, written or visual.

When are the bananas going to grow up and remove the colonial yoke and western coloured lenses and start to think for themselves.

More instant trees needed in Singapore football

Other prominent names out of town are AFC “A”-Licence holders Aidil Shahrin (Head Coach, Kedah, Malaysia) and Stephen Ng (Head, Youth Development, Brunei)...

Another former national coach, who declines to be named, says the “top-qualified coaches should be pushed to the S-League clubs which is the pinnacle of Singapore football”. He adds: “The answer is not always with foreign coaches as we’ve experimented with so many from Trevor Hartley, Micheal Walker, Burkhard Ziese, Jan Poulsen, Barry Whitbread, Raddy Avramovic, Bernd Stange, Slobodan Pavkovic and Michel Sablon”.

Jan Poulsen, the ex-Denmark coach who was with the Danes’ Euro 1992-winning team, says: “Basically I agree with Vincent Subramaniam. In order to get football to progress you must have a good infrastructure, good coaches, a good youth development structure (competitive leagues) and a common philosophy – the Singapore way...'

What is the Singapore way? More Singaporeans or more foreigners, more instant trees? By the look of it, the Singapore way is about replacing Singaporeans with foreigners. They are now looking for another national coach. Are they going to bring in another foreigner to do the same again? For so many years, have they not wasted enough money on the foreign myth, that a foreign coach could turn Ah Meng into a football star? Stupidity is about repeating the same mistake over and over again.

Very likely until today they still have no clue why the Singapore football is in the current state of affair, going no where. And they are desperately hoping that a foreigner could tell them what is wrong and how to turn half baked footballers into world beaters.

Bet you, another foreigner is likely to be on the way here to collect his big fat pay for another few years and Singapore football would be where it is from today until he left laughing to the bank.

The football fraternity are completely lost in coming out with a solution other than repeating the same old trick over and over again. In this case, perhaps you need to bring in a bunch of system engineers, completely clean heads, with no historical baggages, to take a fresh look at the problems and try something new. The same old heads and minds would not be able to see through the veil they covered themselves and no breakthrough is likely to come about.

Maybe a super talent politician could do the trick. It is possible to spend a few billions, like buying the F35s, to buy a complete international team to win football matches. Or at least it would awe the competition that we have the best money can buy.
