Evil American Empire using economic coercions against allies and cronies

Now the USA and five allies are barking like rabid dogs that China is using 'economic coercion' against them by going after Western Tech companies like Micron. This is as good as slapping their own faces to remind them to look inside their own cupboard of coercion tools, and at themselves in the mirror.

Trade War and the wholesale raising of tariffs against Chinese goods is not 'economic coercion'? Oh yes, Trump even warned China not to retaliate. The USA thinks the world is as stupid as their leaders and ignorant as their consumers, being told that China is paying for the tariffs, when the opposite is true. What has the trade war done to them? Multi billion Supermarkets and big shopping malls are now closing down, with expensive goods that nobody could afford and suffering huge losses, year on year. Thousands have lost their jobs, and yet they claim employment figures are strong. What about saying that more people are taking on two to three jobs to make ends meet, inflating the employment figures. It is all a master stroke by the 'Empire of Lies'.

Using national security issues, yet unproven, to get rid of Huawei and Tik Tok among others are not 'economic coercion'? When they could not compete, the Administration had to take action to comply with domestic pressure put up by Big Interest Groups to get rid of foreign competition. Why do we think these Big Oil, Big Pharmas, Big Tech big Wall Street Giants are donating massive campaign funds to support Presidential candidates? For fun and laughter? And when China hit back, after tolerating for years, they started howling like wounded dogs, crying 'economic coercion'.

Using sanctions against countries that do not follow their dictates are not 'economic coercion'? What are those more than 14,000 sanctions against Russia, Russian citizens, Russian companies, Russian sports people, and Russian music even trees and animals for?

Forcing USA and Western companies to leave Russia is not 'economic coercion'? These Western companies are going to lose big in Russia as those vacant business entities can easily be taken over by Chinese, Indian and others, not to mention the Russians themselves.

Coercion by using Tech subsidies and Inflation Reductions Act, by pouring money into subsidising and using threats to pressurise global Chip Manufacturers to set up factories in the USA is not 'economic coercion'? If not, why are EU countries up in arms over such a move? Such a move can be construed as 'economic coercion' even against close allies. How ridiculous. And yet they are shouting in unison with the USA about 'economic coercion' by China. Stupidity has no cure.

I do not understand how come the visit by Blinken on 18 June to Beijing is only officially announced on Channel New America quoting official USA sources, with no official word about that visit by China? Did I miss something?

Compare the official announcements by the Chinese side concerning the visit by Palestine President Mahmud Abbas and Honduran President Xiaomara Castro reported widely by Chinese and other global medias. Both visits were at the invitation of President Xi. Someone is obviously not welcomed in Beijing and needs no guessing.

Micron deserved it. They were especially keen to implement the sanctions on China, toeing the US administration's line.

Another one that should be sanctioned by China is military industrial company Textron. They earn money by going after foreign companies that "violate" Textron patents. The way the court case against DJI (drone company) leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.

Textron is playing the cheating game, trying to steal DJI technology. They did not have any commercial drones and got the guts to sue DJI for patent violation. What they wanted was to force DJI to expose their technology in court for them to copy.

Typical cheating and lying Americans.

This is like the Americans alleging that Huawei stole their 5G technology when they don't have 5G technology.

This is a repeat of how IBM stole the computer technology from an American Chinese by suing him and got a court injunction to prevent him from production. At the same time they stole his technology to run ahead to produce ahead of him. Text book American trick.

There was a report that TSMC admitted, albeit long ago already, that it made a massive mistake setting up a high end chip manufacturing facility in Arizona, after being lured by the subsidies being trotted out by Biden of US$52 billion.

In order to be eligible for the subsidies, TSMC must disclose sensitive information on production volume, client information and technological blueprints to the USA, on top of not being allowed to expand its production facilities in mainland China for ten years, plus other restrictions. In other words, it is as good as saying goodbye to the Chinese market for good, which TSMC can ill afford. TSMC found out too late the problems it encountered, and will continue to encounter in its Arizona plant.

It is reported that TSMC, if true, has now also decided not to apply for those subsidies, which is a shock move for Biden. The USA will now not be able to steal the high end technology from TSMC, but rest assured there will be consequences. TSMC's investments in Arizona has now grown to US$43 billion, with more to come.

Another move that TSMC is now reported to be making is building its first chip manufacturing facility in Japan, partnering Sony. Whatever, that still needs the Chinese market, which is going to be gone once China is self dependent. So, who are they selling all the chips to, competing with each other. Soon they will be competing with MacDonalds and Kentucky Friend Chicken among others in terms of pricing.

Is the cost of production in Japan cheaper than in the US?

Jumping from the frying pan into the deep blue sea?

What game is TSMC playing? Without the Chinese market, is there a need to produce more chips?

Read long time ago, a (Singaporean or Malaysian) Chinese in Shenzen claimed Apple stole his idea for pinch to zoom, which he demonstrated to Apple but failed to patent it.

Fortunate that China built its own space station, without ever being involved or allowed being on board the International Space Station built by Russia. The Chinese built their own Tiangong Space Station, which the USA could not claim was based on their technology.

Realistically it was all a blessing in disguise for China that the USA and the West forbid China from participating in many high tech fields like Space exploration, Rocketry, Jet engines, otherwise China would now be forbidden to proceed with such projects on their own and would now be stunted for good.

It is very important that China moves away from using ASML technology in chip production, using other mediums instead, so that the USA cannot sanction China on those mediums claiming it is their technology. Computer chips is probably the only last hold that the USA had over China to prevent China from overtaking the USA. It will not stop China and will fail.

The father of American rocketry is a Chinese, Qian Xuesen, who also cofounded the origin of NASA. Qian was then the top expert in rocketry in America. With Qian returning to China, American rocketry could not progress much. With Qian in China, Chinese rocketry overtook the Americans. Now we are seeing the results of the expertise of Qian.

The father of Boeing is also a Chinese engineer, Wong Tsu. He was the first chief engineer of Boeing who helped built the first sea plane that was a commercial success.
