Hot News from the press: DBS Duplicate Charge on Credit and Debit Card Users.

DBS customers - Credit and Debit Card users were shocked to discover they were double charged on single transactions. This should never have happened bearing in mind DBS is the biggest local bank and has iconic status in not only Singapore but also in ASEAN countries. Coffee shops gossips asked," How could this happen? Don't we have the highest top talent from India taking charge of DBS as its CEO? Did the bank become aware of the duplicate charges only after complaints lodged by affected customers.? What if customers did not realise the double charge earlier and thus the duplicate charge will keep on going? How can they claim it is due to the glitch of technicality - the machines? It is not so simple as that. Are the highly paid officers sleeping over their jobs? MAS should carry out a thorough investigation and ensure that there is no element of criminality. Will heads roll ? The ball and ultimate responsibility stops at the table of the Bank's CEO."

Don't worry, heads will not roll. Just a warning and business goes on as usual.

If heads roll, the first to go must be the CEO of the bank. But then no, for he is the top talent from India. Why is Singapore so unfortunate to suffer this type of problem all the time - the problems of fake imported talents.

The eunuch pee-ayam has no balls to sack anyone lah. Will never happen. His father would have ensured heads roll immediately. No such hanky panky business behind the IT scene. What technical glitch! That is an obvious excuse to cover up something sinister. Some foreign IT "talents" must have manipulated the networkworking scripts at the main server of DBS. And only those who have the secret password can access the main server.

Well, when the head is an Indian, they do what they do in India. Does not surprise me at all!

POSB account holders better check carefully their transactions too! Most likely trying to claw back their losing fiasco in bailing out a failed bank in India.

If Alibaba, Tencent, Taobao, Shopee etc were to use Indian software, they would have to close down long ago. Imagine the millions and billions of transactions daily, not a single double payment or fault.

That is the level of technology that the Indian IT cannot reach or come near to.

If a clerk or officer takes some money from his company and quickly refund the money after being found out. The guilty officer will still be charged in court, pay a fine plus jail sentence.

If someone by mistake deposited a sum of money into your bank account and you knowing it is not your money but still you quietly withdrew the money. After being found out you refunded the money to the bank. The court will not entertain any claim of ignorance. You pay a fine and go to jail or prison.

Similarly DBS cannot just claim it is due to the glitch of the bank's machines. Any claim of innocence or fake excuses are all spurious and MAS should not entertain any one of them. Investigations must be carried out thoroughly. The court will decide on the gravity of the case and may either impose a fine and a jail sentence. Also some heads must roll too.

Everyone must regularly print a hard copy of his bank statement just in case. All your data can be wiped out by hackers and crooks after stealing all your money.

Did someone try to do a parallel billing and divert money into his special account?

A thorough investigation is in order.

Be alert and beware of the Anglo-Saxon American online robbers. They are famous for robbing bank customers credit cards online of millions of dollars. These financial robbers are no different from highway robbers only they rob more with impunity. These big time financial robbers can be from Wall Street behemoth banks and business tycoons own by Anglo-Saxon crooks and scoundrels and who make use of proxies to do the dirty job of online robbing. Thus when caught they are not answerable for their proxies will bear the responsibility after being well compensated.

The loss of money to cover back these cockups is again a black box. Many people have money that were charged to cards reduced to zero.
