Xi is not going to Washington, but will be visiting Moscow, slated to be in May this year. Wang Yi in Moscow recently is setting the groundwork of what is to come in talks between Xi and Putin.
The coming visit of Xi to Moscow is telling the world that despite all the attempts to tear them apart, even with concessions for Putin in Ukraine, it is not going to work. Wang Yi and Sergey Lavrov have given their relations a deeper and closer link, calling it a 'friends forever and never enemies', nothing like all the 'iron clad' relations between USA and its allies that could not even move beyond the imposition of tariffs. But then, as Henry Kissinger said, it is fatal to be a friend of the USA.
This coming visit of Xi to Moscow must be over something very important going to happen with BRICS, besides the geopolitical issues over the war in Ukraine and Middle East.

Xi is not interested in talking to a grown man having the mentality of a spoilt child. It is better to talk to right thinking adults. Children should just continue to talk to children and play stupid games hoping for stupid prizes.
Xi is visiting Malaysia next week from 15 to 17th April. He will then be visiting Vietnam and Cambodia. Which must have left many wondering why Xi isn't visiting USA to talk to the man-child and kiss his arse like many others. The more Trump spins about Xi panicking, the more Xi is going to ignore him. Xi is not going to kiss his arse unlike some sycophant leaders just talking and not walking the talk.
Trump is now insulting world leaders claiming that they are all going to kiss his arse. This is the kind of rascal the Americans elected to be their leader. Might as well elected a donkey instead.

The USA had been complaining about China keeping the Yuan low to make its products competitive. China is going to let the Yuan fall further which will benefit its exports even more. Some blind people are celebrating that the Yuan is crashing. China is going to crash their party instead with a lower Yuan which will make its products even cheaper.
BRICS and the Global South will be happy about a lower Yuan. Chinese exporters can sell more to them at even lower prices. China is going to export more of its deflation to many countries. But expect someone to complain that China is resorting to currency manipulation and using subsidies to enable Chinese manufacturers to cut cost. Is that so? Apple's CEO. Steve Jobs already came out to say that Chinese manufacturing is able to be so competitive not because of low wages but it is China's skilled workers and adoption of automation and robotics. Steve Jobs did not mention subsidies.
Talking about currency manipulation, the USA, with its money printing practice, is the biggest currency manipulator in the world with no competitor to match. Who else can just flood the world with its currency, enabling the USA to export its inflation to everyone.
Talking about subsidies, the USA never look at itself in the mirror regarding the billions in subsidies thrown at foreign chip manufacturers to set up manufacturing in Arizona and those subsidies thrown at other manufacturing to set up base in the USA. The Inflation Reductions Act is another ploy using subsidies to attract foreign investments from Europe in particular to relocate to the USA.
