With Elon Musk's running of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) going out of favor with USA voters and even fueling widespread protests, what is Trump going to do? Moving DOGE forward with job cutting measures is being met with unrests, more joblessness, more homeless people without jobs and putting pressure on wages in the private sector. That is a bonus for business owners and the super-rich, who are already going to benefit from Trump's tax cuts for them. The USA voters who supported Trump are going to be also just collateral damage, so 'just hang tough' in there and let Donny Make American Great Again standing on their backs and shouting.
But finding US$4 trillion to fund the tax cuts is not that easy, even with DOGE doing due diligence, even touted to be targeting Congressmen and women. That is sure to ignite fire and fury.
One item I am very interested in seeing happen is Elon Musk doing an audit of the gold in 'Fort Knox'. But the truth can be suppressed in the context of the 'Empire of Lies'. Nothing is beyond suppression through lying.
Talking about gold in Fort Knox, Germany is now asking the USA to return the gold it placed with the USA for showing its confidence in the credibility of the USA in the past. Why is Germany now having second thoughts about its gold held by the USA? Will Germany get its gold back? If the USA refused to comply, it is going to send a signal to others that their gold is also no longer there. This is going to be interesting.

Wait a little longer and be patient. Let us see what the 145% tariffs on Chinese goods is going to do to the USA voters just a couple of months down the road. Everything is going to cost more than double. 'Hang tough' gloated Trump and wait for manufacturers to move back to the USA to make things for them. No longer cheap, but much more expensive for sure. Let us just sit back and enjoy the soap opera that is going to unfold. In the meantime, Trump and his cronies are ripping off the stock market with his manipulation by making big announcements and immediate U-turns.
China's export to the world is more than US$3.5 trillion, with a 'T', with US$500 billion with a 'B' to the USA. The USA is therefore not the only country that China can export to, and with goods that cheap, who does not want them. Would people navigate towards expensive goods from the USA when manufacturing returns to the USA, not tomorrow, not day after but years or decades down the road? Even cutting off all exports to the USA, which is about 14% of all Chinese exports globally and is not going to collapse China. Markets can be substituted by building up more exports to countries like Africa, South America, Canada, EU, ASEAN and Bangladesh, with the last country now engaging in trade and investments from China on the cards. Xi Jinping is touring ASEAN to snarl a bigger slice of the two-way trade.
This is happening while the USA is preoccupied with cutting trade with many countries with its tariffs and Trump touting about countries having to go to Washington to kiss his arse. How shameful is that to be humiliated so openly. Taiwan is said to be the first to go to Washington to kiss Trump's arse, and seems to be proud of it like an obedient dog, to enjoy the first horrid smell of the stank. Taiwan would then have to tell the world that the smell was 'fragrant and beautiful' which Trump will demand that they announce it to the world, LOL.
Here's another quote from Winston Churchill: 'A nation that tries to tax (tariff) itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle". How true.
What happens if 'Fort Knox' turns out to be 'Fort Nought'? Hope China has no gold in there.
Trusting a thief to keep your valuables is a no brainer. Why are some leaders so stupid I cannot understand.
Throughout history I think no other leader ever tells the world that they have to go to kiss his arse. This man is really sick and mentally retarded to say this.
Having said that, I believe some will do it as they are just obedient dogs, even willing to lick arse if forced to. I really cannot believe a leader of supposedly a world superpower going along to posture himself as if the whole world belongs to him to humiliate like slaves. Even the almighty would never go to degrade himself by saying that.
Crude, ignorant, boastful and egoistic is what Trump really is. And the worst part is being surrounded by sycophants feeding his hunger for attention.
China is ready and undoubtedly serious to de-couple completely from the USA. China may sacrifice totally the loss of the US$500 billion trade. I think that will settle everything, but will be catastrophic for the USA, as no other country is capable of producing all the stuff being needed by USA consumers. Not on the scale, the low price and certainly not within the next couple of years. Bear in mind that while other countries like India can step into China's shoes, they still have to depend on the raw materials from China. And China can just cut off such raw materials to put an end to allowing even India to fill the void.
Hang in there USA consumers. Trump is going to make America really great again.
Trump is also waiting for the penguins on those isolated islands to go to Washington to kiss his arse. Funny they have not been mentioned and none of the 50 are named, including the penguins. Only Taiwan so far.
