Trump was fantasizing about Xi needing to meet him in Washington 'very soon' to pay obeyance to the enforcer. He probably thinks his tariff war is going to scare Xi out of his wits, thereby forcing Xi to rush to Washington to beg for mercy. Instead, Xi is going to Moscow to meet Putin for an important meeting of two adults on the next step to take.
Now Trump is realizing that his miscalculation is backfiring with Xi retaliating against his tariffs. Trump has been pushed into a corner now. What is he going to do? Nero was fiddling while Rome was burning, so said some, when Trump rushed to play golf while the stock market was crashing.
Furthermore, Putin is ignoring Trump regarding the peace deal in Ukraine. Putin and Xi are going to make Trump lose his mind soon. The man is already mentally unsound and further pressure might push him into the cuckoo's nest.

Trump says many world leaders are calling him to kiss his arse.
“These countries are calling us up. Kissing my ass. They are dying to make a deal: ‘Please, please sir, make a deal. I’ll do anything,’” Trump claimed.
Trump is adding insult to injury, claiming countries are going to have to kiss his arse. Are countries feeling ashamed in the face of such insults and still groveling at Trump's feet?
Small countries must wake up. The USA is not the only market for them as in the past. There is BRICS to fall back on and the Global South as well. Do not be fooled by the threats that only the USA can provide them a market. That is no longer the case.
Just look at Africa, going full throttle to get rid of the Imperialist Western colonizers. African leaders know the world is bigger than the USA or the Anglo-Saxon enclave. They rest of the world can still produce the same things, at the same costs, sell at the same price and making the same profits without the tariffs by just avoiding the USA market and build up their relations with others. The world has been brainwashed so thoroughly that some leaders are still sleeping under a rock.
I want to talk about Burkina Faso's leader, Ibrahim Traore, who declined the offer by Saudi Arabia to build 200 mosques in Burkina Faso. 'Thanks, but no thanks' he said, having seen the Arabs in the Middle East throwing the Palestinians to the wolves while talking about building mosques instead of helping the downtrodden. The Saudis are under the control of the USA, and any attempt to use the Saudis to sabotage Ibrahim Traore is not far from his thoughts. Traore is the new poster boy of Africa's rise to real independence from Western tyranny.
Trump and his clowns continue to spread the lie that China would come crawling to Washington to make a deal and Trump would act as if he is so generous to offer a deal. This kind of stupidity can only come from hillbillies.
China has taken a stand to fight the Americans to the end, like what Mao did in the past when China was still very weak. Today, the weaker opponent is the Americans. The American economy would collapse very quickly, in a matter of months without the cheap goods from countries around the world, from China. The Americans would be rioting in the streets crying for the removal of Trump. Who knows, they might even shoot him in the head. And this time is real, not fake assassination attempts like before the election.
The pain is real and hurting real bad. Living by the paycheck Americans cannot afford the rising prices of basic and essential goods.
