The Evil Empire has no interest in a peaceful world. It thrives on permanent warfare in the service of the Anglo-Saxon Jewish Zionists Rothschild Cabal and the 1% elites war barons in Wall Street and Washington. US now has over one thousand military bases all over the world not just to contain Russia, China, Iran and DPRK but to hold all other countries in servitude and fear .

USA the Evil Empire of choas has since the 1600s inherited from its forebears the satanic British Empire the inherent penchant for wars of aggression and conquest. White men from Europe first went to America empowered by an aggressive militant religious doctrine " The Doctrine of Christian Discovery " to search for non-Christian lands to conquer and to dispossess and kill all those natives who refused to be converted to Christianity. Armed with this pathological doctrine and subsequent other evil doctrines like the ' Doctrine of American Manifest Destiny " and  US Exceptionalism " the satanic United States went on a never ending rampage of conquests of all the then existing independent native American states, killing, murdering, and genociding all the natives.

This was followsed by decades of never ending wars of conquest against Mexico from 1840s to 1890s. Having conquered all the lands in continental North America except for British Canada the Evil Empire cast its evil eyes for territorial expansion across the Pacific and Atlantic ocean. From 1890s to 1905 It destroyed the Hawaii sovereign nation , deposed its queen and took control of the Hawaii Kingdom by force beforc formally  annexing it in 1957.

Other Pacific Ocean islands were similarly conquered including Guam and the Philippines which the Evil Empire occupied and ruled brutally from 1898 to 1948.

The Evil Empire thirst for aggression and conquests seem to be endless It has openly stated that it intends to form a one world order under the total control and hegemony of the United States. This evil dream and intent of subjugating the whole world under US dominant control and hegemony however is objected and fiercely opposed by all countries in the world and vehemently challenged by Russia, Iran, North Korea and China.

The Evil Empire created endless brutal wars in the Middle-East with the objective to obtain full control of the region so as to grab the rich oil and mineral resources of the region. However, it is checkmated by the Russians in Syria and face strong opposition from Iran .

As its aggression in the Middle East faces temporary setback it strikes out against its backyard neighbours in Latin America . Venezuela is now facing the gaunlet of American aggression. Other victimised countries are Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, El Salvador, Mexico, Ecaudor, Chile, Brazil, Peru and Argentina.

However the Evil Empire's plan of military intervention in Venezuela is now thwarted by Russia which has been officially invited by the Venezuela government of Maduro to send both civilian and military aid in helping Venezuela to resist American aggression. US now resorts to subterfuge of economic sabotage like sanctions, blockade, cyber warfare and destroying Venezuela's power stations.

With its aggression being stopped by Russia in Syria and Middle East and now in Venezuela, the Evil Empire is now planning to shift its war of aggression in the South China Sea posturing a geopolitical action against China to constrain and contain China;s peaceful development under the guise  of freedom of navigation and under the false pretension of helping the South China Sea littoral states vis-a-vis China.

In actual fact the Evil Empire intends to eventually take control of the South China Sea so as to grab all the vast oil and mineral resources under the sea bed. To achieve this sinister objective it has to instigate and foment wars among the South China Sea littoral states against China. This will both enable the US evil Pentagon's Military Industrial Complex to sell billions of dollars of its military hardware and weapons to the unsuspecting South East Asian countries and to eventually hold sway over the entire region up to Papua New Guinea and Australia.

If the South Chiona Sea countries are not careful they will fall into the insidious trap of US evil designations. South East Asian countries must think carefully whether US is a friendly benign power or a satanic power bent on subjugating the whole world in slavery to its evil dictates and machinations.

In the 242 years of its independence from Imperial England, US has fought not less than 230 years of aggressive wars of conquests and domination leaving behind endless trails of death, killings, murders and genocide of native people and causing tremendous pains and sufferings to the fateful survivors who are kept in isolated derelict places which they call " Native Reservations " an euphemism for concentration camps. In the concentration camps the natives are ill treated and starved with very meagre food and limited water supply. They are given laborious low lying jobs with no pay or little pay. Their women folks are being sterilized with injections to prevent them from being able to procreate. Their children are being taken away from the warmth of their parents and family and most of them die a miserable death due to bad treatment and starvation. This abominable practice is still carried on in United States and Australia.

China, a civilization of more then 5000 years where the people are known as the Han people had never attack or invade other countries except for two short periods where the Chinese themselves were attacked and invaded by the Mongols and the Manchus. The Mongol invasion of China , Asia and Europe was short lived . The Manchu invasion of China, Burma, Indo-China and Japanlasted a little longer from about 1644 to 1911 .

But China like most other countries in the world and ain all the continents were soon succumbed to 500 years of the most abominable western imperialism and colonialism. This western imperialism adopted a policy of divide and rule and subjected all invaded countries to slavery and servitude and unlimted exploitation of their wealth and rich natural resources.

From the period of the Opium Wars 1832 - 1856 to early 1940s China was torn asunder, her lands ripped apart and occupied and colonized by England, France, Germany, Holland, Japan, Russia and United States. It was not until 1949 when China after a long struggle and fight against these imperialists managed to unite and coalesce again as a great country under the leadership of the Peoples Liberation Army - PLA , led by by Chairman Mao Tse Tung and his colleagues with the patriotic of the Chinese people.

With the example of China shaking off the yoke of Western imperialism and colonialism , China showed the way and helped all the Asian countries to fight and struggle for independence after the Second World War in 1945.

But the western imperialists and Japan were not happy that because of China they had all lost their colonial empire. The British lost India, Burmaand Ceylon after over 300 years, the Dutch of Holland lost Indonesia after 400 years of occupation, France lost Indo-China after about 100 years and of course US lost the Philippines after about 60 years. Japan was driven out of Asia and China by the Chinese people.

However, because of the grievous grudge the imperialists West and Japan bear against China for the lost of their empire and colonial territories they have never stopped as a revenge to demonise China and to to paint China in a bad light in the same canvas of evil western imperialism. In doing so they hope to stir up animosity and hatred among the South East Countries against China which has acted as a bulwark against return of western imperialists now epitomize by US wild ambitions.

US has since the end of Second World War fought many endless wars of aggression and conquest killing over 20 million innocent lives and causing immeasurable suffering and pains to many more millions of others. The wars on DPRK, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan. Somalia and Yemen and many others were savage, brutal and most inhuman in cruelty.

Now South Eazst Asian countries and their leaders have to think wisely and decide which country is evil and post great danger to their countries. USA has never stopped attacking and invading other countries since its independence. It is on the verge of invading Venezuela now. It is sowing seed s of choas and dissension in many other countries in South and Latin America and in many countries in Africa and Central Asia. All these evil plot for what if not for the pruposxe of enabling the Americans to grab power, riches and wealth in the service and for the benefits of the Anglo-Saxon Jewish Zionists Rothschild Cabal and 1% elites  of the rogue robber barons in Wall Street and Washington.

Has China ever invaded your country both past and present? Has China ever exploited your country? You think for youselves. The answer is definitely NO.

China has amicably settled and signed border treaties with 14 of its 16 neighbouring countries except India and Japan. In dia wants to hold on to the mantle of British imperialism by holding on to Chionese llands forcibly taken from China by the British. Japan refused to to return to China the Diao Yudao and the iu Chiu islands.

South East Asian countries must be wise and not fall into the US trap of plunging the South East Asian region into another warfare of endless dimensions and quagmire just for the benefits of the American imperialists.

How important is fake news to our govt?

The length and time spent on this fake Bill could sum up how important is fake news to the govt. No issue in Parliament has had such an extensive discussion and coverage in the main media. Think of the time and manpower expended to explain this bill, the cost involved has been quite staggering.
 
What is the outcome of the debate so far? Govt’s power in fake news Bill not absolute, govt must make first call but there is legal safeguard for those who disagree with the decision. This is the headline in thenewpaper. Also in the same paper is a comment by a former US Secretary for homeland security, Michael Chertoff who said, ‘when it comes to laws against fake news but there are no easy answers’. It was also reported that ‘he refrained from commenting directly on the draft laws Singapore introduced on Monday to combat fake news, he said it was useful to draw a distinction between a “clear falsity” and opinion.
 
Was it out of respect or caution that this former US secretary refrained from commenting on our fake news Bill? Americans are well known for shooting their mouths with no respect for anyone or country when they think something is not right. Freedom of expression is a core American value that would not be easily challenged or cast aside. But he did said that one has to be careful about a clear falsity and to respect or recognize opinions if I read him correctly.
 
Chertoff was quoted to have said, ‘Rather than debate aspects of misinformation that are outright deceptive – such as impersonation and intervention by foreign entities – the harder question to answer is what constitutes fake news.’ Not difficult at all when Singapore is concerned. In Singapore, fake news is when chenghu said it is fake news. Period. If you don’t agree, go to court, provided you have the money to pay for expensive legal fees.
 
Another taken for granted fake news is political propaganda and agenda in the main media. These are accepted as the conventional truth without the need to question where it is coming from, especially when it came from the Americans or the West. Our silly bananas would swallow them hook, sinkers and line as the gospel truth. In Singapore, the official position is that main media never lies, never spread fake news. So, other than chenghu said so, what you read in the main media are by professionals, all well researched, verified and documented and must be real, including from foreign journalists and wildlife. There is no need to question what is printed in the main media, only question the suspected social media that are supposed to be telling lies and spreading fake news, like mysingaporenews.

'UOB fit' or foreigner fit

Not Asian, so no job? No proof UOB discriminated against London banker, but there was unfair dismissal A former senior officer with the United Overseas Bank (UOB) who accused the bank of denying him a new job because he is not Asian has lost a racial discrimination claim at a London employment tribunal. The above is reported in Today online. Can you believe this angmoh has the audacity to sue UOB for dismissal on the ground of him being non Asian? Did he believe that Singapore is still a British colony and angmoh tua kee, that he could walk around thinking he was 10 foot tall because he was an angmoh? Asian companies, particularly Singapore companies, must take note of this risk of being spuriously sued by angmohs and foreigners for providing jobs when they could not find jobs in their home countries. Singapore companies do not owe these foreigners any duty or obligation to solve their unemployment problem and should not be unduly stressed by employing them and to be treated exceptionally because they are foreigners. Why risk having such silly problems when they could hire Singaporeans and provide jobs for Singaporeans and take care of Singaporeans? Hope UOB and other Singaporean companies learn from this episode and avoid and reduce their employment of foreigners. Foreigners are not really tua kee. Most of them are rejects from their countries, could not find employment in their own countries, so have to run away to this corner of the world to look for jobs. There is no need to bend backwards to hire these wildlife. The wildlife think they are special and Singaporeans are stupid, Singapore owes them a living. And they think they can come here to beat up daft Singaporeans as and when they like.  Who is creating this wildlife problem in Singapore? Who is putting the safety of Singaporeans at risk? The day when Singaporeans walk the streets in fear of wildlife would be the day Singaporeans lose their country.

Investing in junks is gambling, $713m is placing big bets

The Asia Times reported last week (8 Mar) that Singapore’s Government Investment Corporation will subscribe to 50 billion rupees ($713 million) worth of Bharti Airtel’s rights issue in exchange for an approximately 5% stake in the latter. The Delhi-based Telecommunications Company is the second largest mobile network operator in India and the third largest in the world with operations. It has operations in 20 countries across South Asia and Africa.
Airtel said that the rights issue was initiated to “further strengthen our balance sheet with desired financial flexibility so as to meet future opportunities, particularly in the rapidly transforming Indian mobile market.””....


Just last week, Moody’s has lowered the credit rating of Bharti to “junk” grade Baa3 as it has concerns over weak cash flows over the next few quarters.
In the same article, Moody’s forsees that this would increase Airtel’s cost of borrowing by 30 to 50 basis points.
As at 31 Dec 2018, Airtel’s net debt stood at more than $15 against a Market Value of around $17.5 billion.

People reading the above would have the impression that this kind of investment in junk status companies is bad. No need to think further. Why would anyone throw good money after bad money? This is the view of the common laymen, taking things superficially.  This investment made good sense, just like buying all the junk American and western banks during the world financial crisis. It is a rare opportunity to be able to buy once good companies at junk prices.

Think long term, in the long run or long term, junk companies would turn from ashes to gold. The rupee too in the long term would turn up as India is the next super power. They claimed they had shot down a Pakistani fighter aircraft, which the Pakistani have proven to be a lie. They also claimed to have shot down a satellite, no one has proven that this is also a lie.  Lie or truth, in the long term everything would be right or alright.

It takes geniuses to invest in junks and hoping to turn them into gold. It requires exceptional talent and foresight. This is better than venture capital investment where they hope to  make one good killing after hundreds of failures. The principle of investing in junks or failed companies is the same.

The advantage of investing in junk stocks over venture capitalists is that one is investing in a failed company that was once successful. The other invested in companies that are just starting from scratch and has yet to see success. Sure one would be lucky after a few hundred misses and the one good junk stock could earn back all the monies lost. So do not worry about the hundreds of millions lost or billions lost in failed investments. In the long run, all the losses would be recouped with a few successes in junk stocks.

This is just my view, please feel free to disagree.

When telling the truth is outrageous

LONDON: Britain and Gibraltar reacted with fury to a European Council document published on Friday (Feb 1) that described the British overseas territory as a colony.

The document, laying out proposals to give British nationals short-stay, visa-free access to the EU's borderless Schengen area after Brexit, contained the description in a footnote.

"It is completely unacceptable to describe Gibraltar in this way," British Prime Minister Theresa May's spokesman told reporters.

"Gibraltar is a full part of the UK family and this will not change due to our exit from the EU," he said.
Gibraltar, home to 33,000 people, was ceded to Britain by Spain in 1713, in perpetuity.

To the Brits, Gibraltar is not a colony.  Saying that it is a colony is outrageous. Were Singapore and Hong Kong former colonies of the British Empire? This is how white men create their lies and demanded the rest of the world to accept them as the truth. How did the British seized Gibraltar from Spain? Spain willingly gave Gibraltar to the Brits? Gibraltar a part of the British islands in the north Atlantic Ocean?

Oh, the bananas in Gibraltar are also angry that they are called a colony of the Brits. I think Singapore bananas and Hong Kong bananas would not share the same feelings. They would want to be know as a full part of the UK family and sing God save the Queen and fly the Union Jack, colony or no colony never mind. This is what would happen when people has no pride in themselves, in their ability to govern themselves and would want to be governed by the white men despite being treated like second class, subjects of an Empire.

Medhi Hasan - What is the human cost to USA's economic miracle?

My title to this article is inspired by Medhi Hasan’s Head to Head programme with a similar title, What is the human cost to China's economic miracle? Broadcast by Al Jazeera on Mar 15, 2019. The Medhi Hasan programme had these paragraphs as an introduction,
 
‘In this episode of Head to Head, Mehdi Hasan challenges Charles Liu, Senior Fellow at Peking University, seasoned Chinese entrepreneur and informal adviser to the Chinese government, on Xi Jinping’s record in power so far, the government’s crackdown on the Uighur Muslim minority, and what role for China if it becomes the 21st century’s military and economic superpower….
 
But the economic boom has been paired with an increase in state surveillance and crackdowns on dissent, as well as the repression of the Muslim Uighur minority. So at what cost has China’s economic miracle come? And what’s the future for civil liberties of the Chinese people?....’
 
To cut matter short, Medhi Hasan’s main agenda was about China’s treatment of the Uighur minority problem and the militant Uighurs being detained in reeducation camp in Xinjiang. He claimed that according to western analysts, American sources and satellite images, there were 1m Uighurs arrested and detained in the reeducation camp and treated cruelly by the Chinese authorities, suffering from interrogation and harsh treatments. Mehdi Hasan loved what he was doing and acting so smug as he read out his prepared questions to humiliate his Chinese panel of experts on how bad China was in treating the Uighurs.
 
I have only a few questions to ask him. How reliable were his sources of information on the 1m Uighurs in detention camp produced by the Americans and western sources? Could satellite photographs really show 1m detainees? How much land or buildings would be needed to house 1m detainees? 1m people is more than a small city or a big town.
 
Anyway, I would want to put him on the stand and ask the same questions he asked the Chinese on the American economic miracle and the human cost involved. If I can remember, several tens of millions of native Americans were terminated under the fire power of white American invaders called soldiers. Many were terminated, especially the womenfolks, the old and the young by European diseases planted into the villages which they had no exposure and resistance to, thus wiping out thousands of native Americans in the process.
 
That was not all. The survivors of this nationwide genocide were sent on a long march to the reservations, ie poor desert land, to thrive and survive on their own. No, the white Americans did not send them to reeducation camps. And the number of surviving natives from the genocide was still in the millions, not 1m Uighurs.
 
The human cost of the American economic miracle did not stop at the massacre of the native Indians, to the tune of several tens of millions, but also include nation wide slavery of African slaves. These slaves had no protection of human rights from their white predators. They were hunted down like animals in Africa and brought to America in slave ships, chained and caged like animals.
 
What is the human cost of this black slavery of Africans? Could Medhi Hasan give an answer to the genocide of native Americans and slavery of Africans?
 
Another question I would like to ask Medhi Hasan is how to solve the violent problems of the Uighurs? They were conducting terrorist attacks all over Xinjiang and the neighbouring states, suicide bombers and attacking and killing people on the streets?
 
If he can’t find a good solution, I would suggest that he proposed to China to learn from the white Americans and do what they did to the native Americans. Then, after wiping them out from the surface of the earth, there will be no more problems from them. Then China can go all over the world championing human rights, without the native Indians and African slaves, just like the Americans are doing today.

Unthinking Asian journalists perpetuating American agenda and narratives

Indeed, North Korea could not even survive without Beijing's support, let alone stand up to the might of America. Trump's key strategy on North Korea is to use sanctions to apply maximum pressure on the isolated country.’

Why is North Korea a threat to the USA and not the USA a threat to North Korea? Simple, this is what the Americans and the West have been alleging and it has become a truth to unthinking Asians. North Korea is a threat to the USA is as good as what Trump has been drumming up about the immigrants from the Mexican border as a national crisis as if the USA is going to collapse immediately if Trump’s Great Wall of the USA is not built immediately. It is like the allegation that Huawei is a threat to the American’s and western countries national security because the Americans said so, no need any proof or evidence.
 
North Korea does not have a single soldier outside its territory. North Korea could not even survive without Beijing’s support, how could it be going around threatening the Americans? Punching above its weight? Only mad politicians would think this is possible and would brag about it like real.
 
The Americans are amassing thousands of troops on the North/South Korean border and conducting numerous military exercises simulating an invasion of North Korea by hundreds of thousands of soldiers. These are very offensive as the training exercises could turn real by changing the blanks with live bullets and moving across the border.
 
The Americans have always been threatening North Korea with a preventive strike against their nuclear and military facilities. And the Americans not only have soldiers and military bases in South Korea, but also in Japan and in Guam, that could hit the North Koreans at any moment.
 
The North Koreans could not do so and even if they do, it is sheer madness and inviting a total annihilation of the North Korean people. The North Koreans cannot be a threat to the Americans, only the Americans are the existential threat to the North Koreans, a clear and present danger.
 
Now why did the unthinking Asians keep on harping about the North Korean threat instead of the American threat? Why would the unthinking Asians be talking about debt trap of Chinese aid instead of the benefits China is offering to the countries receiving Chinese aids? Because the unthinking could not think, could not come up with their own agenda and narratives. They depended on the Americans to think for them, what to say, who to attack, who to badmouth.
 
When unthinking Asians have no ideas, the Americans would conveniently plant ideas into their thick skulls, to say what the Americans want them to say, to think and talk about what the Americans wanted them to. Without the American agenda and narratives, these unthinking Asians would not know what to write or talk about, except about what to eat and what to drink and how to take care of pets.

Shanmugam – A sensible speech in Parliament on hate speech

Seldom did we hear such an elaborate and detailed speech by Shanmugam on an issue being debated in Parliament. On the new bill being tabled on hate speech, Shanmugam spent time labouriously to explain the rationale of wanting this bill but also made a provision that even though it is being tabled, it is for discussion and may or may not lead to a new law.
 
What is pertinent is the way the govt will treat and judge what is hate speech which also includes offensive speech. Offensive speech can deteriorate and slide down to become adverse and may lead to ‘discrimination and eventual violence’ like hate speech. But before a judgement is passed on hate speech or offensive speech, the govt will look ‘at how offensive the materials or words are, and assesses its impact on the reaction of the different communities…depending on who says it and in what context’. It is thus not so simple to brand everything from the word go as hate or offensive speech. The govt will also look ‘at the nature of the event where the speech is made and its reach…the immediate reaction, and consider the security implications, both short and long term, such as the deepening of fault lines.’
 
All in all it is also about common sense and a bit of give and take. The govt will be neutral and recognize the different histories and traditions of various groups but would not ‘be directed by the viewpoint of people who are extremely sensitive’.
 
Hate speech and offensive speech is not simply black and white and every case must be carefully determined before the govt would take action, at least this is what I read from Shanmugam’s explanation.
 
Ok, you guys here, please avoid offensive speeches and comments that could lead to division and hate and eventual violence. Be very careful and sensitive towards others and their feelings. I know many of your comments border on offensive speeches. Please do not continue to repeat them.

Hyflux, caveat emptor or someone should be held accountable?

“We have not lost faith. If we all vote no, maybe MAS (the Monetary Authority of Singapore) and the SGX (Singapore Exchange) would step in and investigate this. It’s time for them to take over to see if there was any misrepresentation of information,” he said.
Another perpetual securities and preference shareholder, who wanted to be known only as Michael, told CNA that he thought MAS should have stopped Hyflux and the local banks from selling the perpetual securities in 2016.
“MAS should have stepped in to investigate overzealous selling by the banks because the banks were paid a sum to sell these shares and got a substantial amount of commission,” said Michael, who invested around S$10,000.

The above are angry comments from desperate investors in Hyflux preference shares and securities that have turned to dust at a protest in Hong Lim Park on 30 Mar. Tan Kin Lian was the main sponsor of this event organised by an investor by the name of Alex.  Some of the investors, these are not speculators but people who sought to place their savings in supposedly safer securities hoping to earn some kopi money for retirement, felt that the whole affair is very unfair to them. This is another case of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. Millions were made by some while the small investors lost their nest eggs. 

Another comment was that the plants were built by funds from small shareholders and that it was unfair for PUB to announce taking over the Tuaspring desalination plant for a song. The investors were hoping that PUB would pay for it at a fair value so that the investors would not lose every cent of their investments. 

The investors must all be wondering why, why is it that no one is held accountable for this fiasco? The management of Hyflux were paid very well running the company, the banks were paid very well issuing and managing the preference shares and securities. They felt that someone did not do his due diligence. Is this a fair view, that when something so good turned so bad, and no one is responsible or held accountable?

Another case of caveat emptor? Is there any investigation going on to apportion responsibilities? An estimated 50,000 investors would see their investment in Hyflux turning to zero value. This is the beginning of the opening up of old wounds and suppressed anger of small investors losing their savings in the stock market because of the abundance of failed stocks, delisted stocks, suspended stocks, stocks where owners simply ran away and disappeared. No room for grievance settlement or to recover some of their investments.

The schools sent in their supporters en mass to cheer their school representatives competing among the men and women in the various events. The school supporters and their parents contributed to an otherwise empty stadium and boosted the spirit of the game.

The organisers of such events need to create more publicity and find ways and means to bring in the crowds to keep the events alive and favourably received. It needs great effort, coordination and support from all the agencies and organisations to make such events successful.

The next big event would be the Singapore Masters Open cum the inaugural South East Asia Masters Meet in 3-5 May at Bishan Stadium and Home of the Athletes. Would there be supporters and crowd to cheer the seniors competing in the fields? Would there be publicity given to the event to inform the public and supporters to turn up and liven up the spirit of the game?

The main media could do a lot to lend a helping hand in such promotions and publicity.

Brad Bowyer left People's Voice out of the blue

Singapore – On March 28 (Thursday), former PAP turned opposition Brad Bowyer announced his resignation from the People’s Voice (PV) opposition party.

Through a post in his Facebook account, Bowyer said that as of March 24 (Sunday), he no longer has any direct association with Lim Tean’s opposition party.
The reasons for his separation remain unclear, although he did mention personal health issues....

While there is still no word from Lim Tean regarding Bowyer’s decision, netizens are already giving their suggestions for Bowyer’s next steps.
Hass Kamsun suggested joining the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) and hinted that Bowyer would fit in nicely.

How many more opposition candidates would resign from their parties suddenly like being struck by lightning and claimed health reasons and wanting to start on a new journey? The clearest sign of lightning struck is this comment in theindependent.sg, 'Khong Marcus and Jack Ng suggested going independent although Bowyer replied that his path is still unclear'. Lightning struck victims often appeared blur or lost.

Would there be more akan datang?

I think Bad Bowyer should join the PAP, safer and better future. Guaranteed would not be struck by lightning. And if he is thinking of getting into parliament, no need to look elsewhere.

Fake news that senior managers applying for junior secretary job

Martin Gabriel, who runs HR consultancy and training firm HRmatters 21, shared on Facebook last weekend that a quarter of the 100+ applications his client received for a junior secretary job came from “applicants above 40 years of age and previously held senior positions making much much more than 3k.”
Mr Gabriel wrote: “I don’t usually discuss the confidential part of my work so openly, but I think it’s good to alert everyone, how bad the job market is. Recently my client advertised for a junior secretary position for a salary of about 3k plus.

“What was astonishing was that, even senior Managers and Directors were applying for that position. Most of them, out of work for more than 6 months.

“More than a 100 applications were received for one position with about 25% of the applicants above 40 years of age and (sic) previously held senior positions making much much more than 3k. That’s is how bad the job market situation is in Singapore.”

In a comment, Mr Gabriel added: “I don’t want to call people out, but even here in FB, I have friends who are desperately looking for a job and had (sic) gone into depression. There is even one person who had to seek medical treatment for 2 years and was suicidal. I feel so sorry for this person.

“No mainstream media would dare interview me for such stories because I can easily come up with 5 to 6 stories that would drive people to tears. And these are real stories, not made up. I’m a hands on person. My course of work brings me up close to such people and unfortunate situations.”

My instant reaction is that this is fake news because with all the rosy reports in the main media that unemployment of PMETs is not serious and so many are getting employed, this type of news cannot be true. If it is, then PAP cannot be elected with so big majority election after election. 

Also you don't really hear PMETs complaining about being jobless or unemployed, at least not in the main media that always tell the truth. The only time you hear such news is from the social media like theindependent.sg and Gilbert Goh's unemployment blog. And you all know that social media are always guaranteed to be unreliable and famed for posting fake news, mysingaporenews also included. So you be the judge if this is fake news or truth.

I personally know of a PhD applying to be a cleaner supervisor. This one I swear is true. 

So, unemployment of PMETs real problem or fake news? Many senior remisiers are also going to be jobless soon, I know.

No jokes please, this is Singapore

Edmund Zhong, 20, saw the news clip of the Australian Senator Fraser Anning being hit on the head by a youth with an egg and made a comment in his Facebook ‘I wanna do that to K. Shanmugam. I awear.’ This posting, to him it was a joke, was taken very seriously by the police saying a report was lodged against Zhong for the comment. And Edmund is now assisting the police in their investigation ‘for the offence of communicating an electronic record to incite violence under Section267C of the Penal Code. 

This has sent a cold chill down my spine knowing the numerous comments in my blog. KNNCCB, please be warned that no jokes like this is allowed in my blog. Please, please, be very sensitive about other people’s feelings and fear of being attacked. Do not make this kind of jokes in my blog and also, as a piece of friendly advice, not in any where in Singapore. Everything is taken very seriously and all it needs is ‘somebody’ to make a police report against you and you will be in deep shit.
 

Now let’s here what our brilliant and learned lawyers have to say about this comment by Edmund. Ashwin Ganapathy, a lawyer, said this, and I quote from the ST, ‘The violence is not just in persuading or suggesting. It must go further. It must at least instigate, spur or stimulate vigorously an action.’ Sure, and the police must investigate to see if the comment will at least instigate, spur or stimulate vigorously an action, ie, you will be invited by our friendly police to assist in their investigation. If you want to avoid this, please take my advice, no jokes please, especially against political leaders or rulers in Singapore even if you subscribe to the legal view of Ashwin who had this to add, ‘Saying that you want to egg Mr Shanmugam, without doing or saying anything more, is unlikely to fall within the ambit of the provision(S267C?)’. I am very kiasi and kiasu, so I would avoid making such jokes even with this assurance from Ashwin.
 

Ok, another view by a criminal lawyer, Rajan Supramaniam, ‘the action taken by the police sought to send a strong signal against irresponsible and extreme Facebook postings…this action will serve as a deterrent…’ This is good advice for the kiasi and kiasu Singaporeans. Just be careful, be very careful in what you post or say, always remember the OB markers.
 

Ok, you are free to take the advice of the lawyers or my advice on such matters. Not that I have not warned you, this is Singapore and Singapore law and Singapore is a rule by law country and it takes is law very seriously.

Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam has revealed that he “laughed off” the Facebook comments from two netizens about wanting to throw an egg at him, when he was informed about the comments.

I hope Shanmugam would also laugh at this pic and not to classify it as fake news. I swear I did not create this pic. Just received it in my whatsapp. Please, I will remove it if this is offensive, if it is wrong to repost this pic here or anywhere. Please, just let me know, I am a law abiding person, no intention to offend anyone or to break the law.

The Evil Empire - Everything is against the security of the USA

We have heard the Americans going around the world telling its allies that Huaweis 5G is a security threat without any proof. Huawei is now suing the Americans for lying and demanding that the Americans come up with proof of their wild accusation. 

The Evil American Empire has been using this red herring of security threat as an excuse to attack its enemies and the murdering of their national leaders, in Iraq and Libya and now Venezuela. They are still accusing the North Koreans for being a threat to their security when it is the Evil Empire that is a threat to North Korea and threatening them everyday with military exercise and possible invaation and preemptive strike. The Evil Empire is using this threat to impose sanctions on North Korea and the Venezuela causing severe economic problems and poverty to these countries.

Now it is using the same excuse to demand that the Turkish govt not to buy Russian S400 missiles. And Erdogan has outright told the Americans off, that the purchase has nothing to do with the security of the Americans. The only threat to American security is for the missiles to shoot down American planes attacking his country.  Below are some quotes from Yahoo News on this issue.

The "issue was not about the S-400s" but about Turkey "taking actions on its own accord", especially in Syria, he added.

The last part about compatibility with the alliance's established weapons systems is the way the Americans blackmailed its allies once they bought American weapons. They cannot buy weapons from Russia or China anymore. Singapore is likely caught in this bind as well. Once a member of the mafia, forever a member of the mafia. There is no way to get out, like what Turkey is trying to do in wanting better ties with the Russians after the failed military coup against Erdogan by the Americans.

When your land is stolen from beneath your feet

The title The Atlantic selected for the video—”When Your Land Is Stolen From Beneath Your Feet”—may sound emotionally manipulative until we remember that theft was what the Singapore Prime Minister advised Singaporeans to do in order to stay ahead of global economic competition. As reported in TODAY, PM Lee Hsien Loong urged, “Singapore must not only protect its lunch but steal other people’s lunches.” This is not merely an unfortunate use of language, but a refrain repeated by Singapore’s leaders and citizens. However, one can no longer excuse Singaporeans by thinking that they are victims of brainwashing by the state. No, they are in cahoots with the government to extract the most from their poorer neighbors for themselves—sand, water, human labor. It makes one deeply ashamed to be a Singaporean, to be so morally bankrupt.

Jee Leong Koh posted the above in an article in the TRE. This Mr Jee or Mr Koh, I am confused, only bananas could do this kind of thing, to confuse others in the way they write their names, has an important point to make. His article was about Singapore buying sand from Cambodia by dredging its rivers and causing damage to the rivers ecosystem. True, everything human beans do affects the environment and lives around them. Dredging the river is only a small part of it, nature will repair it when things settle down, just like the reclamation of land from the sea. Life will find its own way back and thrives again, as long as the damage done is not permanent and beyond repair.

There are many worse things that we are doing daily to destroy the ecosystem and life on earth that we do not seem to care about right in the heart of this island. The worse thing that we are doing to kill ourselves and planet earth is the indiscriminate population of life on earth. Thing of all the things and livestock needed to sustain a life of 80 or 90 years. Thing of depleting the ocean of fishes because of the growing population, the consumption of raw material and energy and energy production etc etc. Dredging some rivers, if done responsibility is a necessity, to keep the river healthy for the ecosystem. It is greed, and irresponsible actions that are most destructive, just like natural population grow and death against inflating of population recklessly and irresponsibly.

But this is not the main contention of my article. My point is from this sentence, ”When Your Land Is Stolen From Beneath Your Feet”. Do the daft Singaporeans understand that your land is being stolen from beneath your feet by the foreigners being imported here in huge numbers that are unsustainable? Think of a confine space with 2 white mice, then 10, then 100, then 1000 and so on. When would the numbers reach a point when every mice will be fighting and eating each other?

The foolish concept of economic growth without looking at the limitation of space and the ecosystem can only come from fools with eyes blinded and not seeing further than the tip of their nose. Our country is being stolen from beneath our feet without the daft knowing what is happening.
