Sino-India Border War Looms as Talks Fail

India has been consistently provoking small troubles at the border and increasing troop numbers, infringing upon China's territory and sovereignty

China and India held the 13th round of corps commander-level talks on Sunday, during which India insisted on unreasonable and unrealistic demands, adding difficulties to the negotiations, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Western Theater Command said in a statement released on Monday.

China has made tremendous efforts to ease and cool down the border situation and fully demonstrated its sincerity, the statement said.

China's determination to safeguard sovereignty is unwavering, and China hopes India will not misjudge the situation and take actions with sincerity to safeguard the peace at the border, according to the statement.

The Indian military not only obstructed a routine patrol by Chinese border troops on September 28, it also fabricated rumor that "Chinese soldiers were detained for crossing the borderline" via the mouthpiece of the Indian media.

Chinese military warned the Indian army and media not to mistake China's restraints over such rumors as tolerance for slander.

India media News18 cited government sources as saying on Friday that the Indian army temporarily detained a few Chinese troops in Zangnan area of southern Xizang (Tibet) for "incursion" in this area. The Chinese military source said Chinese border troops conducted a routine patrol on September 28 in the Dongzhang area on the Chinese side of the Sino-Indian border and encountered "unreasonable obstruction" from the Indian military.

The incident in the Dongzhang area, where the Indian army obstructed the Chinese border troop's routine patrol, shows India's deliberate provocation and distortion of facts as it did on last year's border skirmish in which 20 Indian soldiers died in a barefist fight with Chinese martial arts soldiers in the Galwan Valley in June 2020

China's border regions with India have been facing pressure of being encroached by the Indian side. For instance in 2001, Indian troops tore down a bridge leading to a holy waterfall in Dongzhang region in Shannan city of Xizang, where Chinese residents could take water there, and set up a military checkpoint by the river. Indian troops were also garrisoned at a grassland in Dongzhang, driving Chinese herders out.

At southeastern region of Xizang, villagers complained that Indian troops and residents have crossed the border several times. The Indians have been trying to "claim their existence" by painting slogans on big rocks.

The Indian government, military and media habitually create an illusion for the Indian public that the Indian army is taking the upper hand in everything.

But Chinese troops would not step back in any circumstances and is ready to give the Indian military a bloody nose..

Just passed the FICA law not enough?

Now want to pass more laws.

This really reflects the true weakness and serious lack of self confidence on those fat cats.

Becoming too fat and too lazy. Always finding for easy ways out. Must have lots of things to fear.

Filthy rich people usually have lots to fear.
