A brief survey over the last few months shows that Singaporeans are very concerned about the following (not in any order):
1. CECA, including job losses/displacements, fake qualifications, racism, FTA, social problems, etc
2. Covid-19, including Delta version, which vaccine? to vaccinate or not? re-infections, death, mental problems, lockdowns, etc.
3.
MTF, including performance, confusing policies, social restrictions,
hospital or home recovery, reopening of borders, government assistance,
etc.
4. The Elected President, Ministers’ & Town Council
Managers’ high salaries, performance (esp. in parliament), government
secrets, etc.
4. CPF withdrawal, high cost but depreciating HDB value, etc.
5.
Performance of opposition parties, esp. WP’s performance in parliament,
their ability to cooperate and solve problems within the law/system,
etc.
However, there is scant attention on closing of TOC and TRE (tentatively set for next Feb), or the leadership succession plan?
Are Singaporeans not concerned about having a public forum to voice their unhappiness?
What about the uncertainty that Singapore faces, in not having a clear leadership succession plan?

Majority of Singaporeans have been ingrained into their brain over the years by government "education" until they have become apolitical and bo chap, cowardly and irresponsible.
They care only about themselves. They do not care about long-term national issues.
They care only about bread and butter issues, just like the Stone Age people. Only basic needs.
Such a nation of people is bound to be overwhelmed and over-run by an invading force. It is only a matter of time.
I don't see Singapore can last more than 100 years in the present form.
From the comments section here, only one person has bothered to comment, this shows Singapore people are really can't be bothered type. Sad.
Deaths will be higher at the start of the transition to endemicity because our population is Covid-naive. But with vaccination and with more people recovered from infections immunity in the community will increase and the situation will improve.
[As restrictions ease and borders reopen, we must be prepared for severe cases and deaths to rise – this is an inevitable consequence of easing the societal and economic toll of the pandemic.
Unfortunately, there is no magic formula that tells us what number of deaths from COVID-19 would be acceptable. This is something that every society, including Singapore, must grapple with.
Until we do, we can expect to live with a great deal of uncertainty, with periodic changes to our collective and individual freedoms.]
