Why is the USA not selling its highly touted and expensive reaper drones to the Ukrainians? This is their business opportunity to make tons of money. First reason is that USA made drones are junks and performance wise left much to be desired. Even the Israelis are ditching them. Furthermore, at about US$30 million each, Ukraine does not have that deep enough pocket to afford them to be used as clay pigeons for the Russians. The other possible reason could be the lack of raw materials now being controlled by China, like Gallium, Germanium and Antimony on top of legacy chips needed for such drones to operate effectively.
So, despite all the demonization of Chinese products, the USA Government is discreetly lying to its own people about security issues relating to Chinese drones and other products, when it is itself not doing what it preaches.
Another more sinister lie that the USA Government manage to cook up was telling tech entities not to use Chinese made legacy chips in their products for security reasons, while the USA military itself relies heavily on Chinese legacy chips in their weaponry, missiles, submarines and aircraft carriers. What could be more important to National Security than the USA defense system having to rely on Chinese chips. See the hypocrisy?
Trump himself is using Tik Tok during his campaign, while the USA was trying to force the owners of Tik Tok to sell it to a USA entity. We thought cotton from sheep already took the cake for stupidity, but for Cotton to keep insisting that the CEO of Tik Tok, a Singaporean, is a member of the CCP is even more than stupid for someone supposed to be more knowledgeable being a Senator in the USA, just to fit an agenda.

DJI drones possesses the cutting-edge technology that the USA needs to incorporate in their outdated drones to make them more effective. However, those are just civilian drones modified for military use, nothing like the real military drones made for the PLA, which, by logic, should be even more lethal and top of the line. That has never been publicly acknowledged, which is good for China.
Traditional thinking of the Chinese is keeping the most important final and most important critical move in the family and not passing it outside the family. Keep the enemy guessing is the most effective deterrent in times of war.
The West had been talking about China's 6th generation fighter jet and downplaying its capabilities as always. All they saw were the test flights conducted by the Chinese and they seem to know a lot about those planes already just watching it from the ground. Have they been on board? All nothing but guesswork.
The same is being talked about China's Fujian aircraft carrier doing sea trials and comparing its inferiority against USA aircraft carriers. Without being on board and just viewing blurred satellite imaginary, they seem also to know a lot about the Fujian, its weaponry, its sea trials, its catapult launchers, its pilot practicing take-off and landing on deck from the rubber marks on the deck.
I guess without the old 4G telecommunication system to use for spying purposes and China moving away from Windows and Microsoft, and with China incorporating 5G and now 6G in their communication network, guesswork is the only avenue available to the USA and the West.
Absolutely. An excellent response. Well done.
The US Congress is attempting to ban Chinese drones used in the USA. Is this good or bad for the USA as a whole? If the USA bans Chinese drones, how are they going to gauge the effectiveness of Chinese drones incorporating cutting-edge tech and comparing them against their obsolete drone technology? Oh, I know, they will still claim Chinese drones are junks whatever happens.
A year or two down the road, the USA is again going to wake up and getting shocked that they are far behind the Chinese in drone technology, just like in EVs, batteries, space exploration, infrastructure and needing to raise fictitious issues against China's overcapacity in drone manufacturing, LOL.
Initiating and passing laws to contain and ban others by giving up competing just because the USA can no longer compete against, is no solution to counter China's drone technical superiority. It is another foot shooting policy.
China can just flood the world with its innovative drone production, while the USA can sleep under a rock and let the world pass by.
The sickos will undoubtedly quote national security and all their inbred rednecks and hillbillies will echo that till they are frothing in their mouths.
Imagine taking over Greenland is a yankee national security issue. How sick can one get?
