Douyin, a very successful app in China, was created by ByteDance for the Chinese people. It was a commercial success. But this was only available to the Chinese people. The owner, ByteDance, wanted to replicate this same app for the whole world and created an international version. It was an immediate commercial success as well. TikTok is an app that is well appreciated and welcomed by users for recreation, creativity, expression and also for business.
The whole world is embracing TikTok as a way of life. The Americans too, 170 millions of them. It all started as fun, an expression, a way to communicate to the world, a way to show one's talent and creativity. It does not stop there. Many turn TikTok into a tool for business and advertisement of their goods and services.
TikTok has changed the lives of many users, keeping them occupied and happy. And many users are happily using the app to generate income. TikTok creates employment, TikTok creates jobs. Hundreds of millions of people have benefitted from TikTok, improving their lives and wellbeing. TikTok is a life changing app that not only benefit individual users but countries as well. It creates employment and contribute to a country's GDP.
America benefitted greatly from TikTok directly and indirectly. Then in came the rogues, using the fake idea of national security to want to ban it. Oh, TikTok is taking all the data of its users and passing it on to the Chinese govt to harm the evil American Empire. The world's most powerful Empire is fearing the threat of a commercial app! The data that the app was accused of collecting is the same as all the data collected by Meta, X, YouTube or any business and enterprise, for commercial purposes, to generate more income for the organisation by understanding the customers' needs and spending patterns.
The overstretch allegation that it is a national security threat has been overplayed by some politicians to serve their own interests. And using national security threat, they want TikTok to be taken over by the Americans or be banned. In the process, if they succeeded in banning TikTok, many users, hundreds of millions of them would be financially and economically affected. Many businesses would have to fold up, many companies would not have a good platform to advertise and sell their goods and services. Many people would have lost their jobs, their source of income. It would create unemployment and hardship, it would affect the economy, directly and indirectly.
The pros and cons of banning a useful and economically beneficial app are there for all to see. TikTok brings so many benefits to the country and people, and so little negative effects except those exaggerated by the evil minds for their devious agenda. The version of TikTok being used in America is specially designed and modified for use and for the benefits of the American people. If they are harmful stuff in the app, they can be easily filtered out or controlled. It is not something so dangerous that it was made out to be.
America and the Americans must be thankful that such a useful app is being designed for them. It gives them more choices and they can avail themselves with the best app suitable to suit their needs. And they have done that and enjoying it and benefitting from it. But the evil men and women are out there to ruin this privilege and to take this app away from them.
Can you imagine how the banning of TikTok can affect the lives and livelihood of hundreds of millions of Americans, all because of a wild allegation using fabricated lies when there is no evidence to prove the case? The only thing Chinese about TikTok is that the app is Made in China. Everything else in TikTok in America is American. The users, the content, the narratives, the adverts, the funds, the business entities, the beneficiaries, the language used is English. TikTok staff are also Americans, the offices are in America. The servers are in America. The service providers are Americans. The American regime can always monitor and censor anything they want. It operates under American laws. The security services can infiltrate the TikTok office easily with their operators. Where is the threat, what is the fear? No American is going to post any sensitive material or state secrets in TikTok. Give me a break.
The evil rogues and gangsters are using 'national security' as a tool to control and deprive the Americans of their freedom of choice and to have a better life. In the name of national security, the Americans are forbidden to use an app, forbidden to use 5G technology, forbidden to use mobile phones Made in China, forbidden to buy cheap and technologically advanced EVs, drones, also forbidden to trade with China and some countries to do business.
China has a Forbidden City in Beijing, used to be the resident of the emperors. America has been turned into a forbidden country by the gangsters, rogues and liars in Washington. America is a Forbidden Country. America is not a free country. It is turning into an authoritative state with strict controls and restrictions on the life of its people, exactly the same things that it accused others of.

That is perhaps why the USA is so keen to force Tik Tok to be sold to a USA entity under its control or face banning in the USA, apart from the political reason of acquiescing to the demands of Israel over the apps catering to the pro-Palestinian stance of its users. The USA is thinking that taking over of Tik Tok in such a manner may be one way of 'taking hold' of Chinese technology which it would otherwise be accused of 'stealing'.
One USA vlogger was shown to be telling everyone that practically everything in USA homes is made in China - the sofas, TVs, furniture, clothes, sundries and even medicines. Trump's MAGA hats are also made in China. The USA flag is also made in China. Why is the USA Congress and Government not taking issue with the manufacturers?
