All that talk about USA seizing Panama Canal, Greenland, Mexico and Canada are distractions to cover Trump's misinformation and disinformation, arising from his promises during his campaign, which he knows he cannot realistically fulfill.
Trump will not be able to carry out those promises by any stretch of the imagination, like deporting of illegals en masse that will cripple farmers, restaurants and retail outlets, raising tariffs against other countries that will cause inflation to spike uncontrollably. Right now, we have examples of Trump's promise to lower the price of eggs for example. With egg prices spiking and consumers complaining, which he already tried to 'address' by telling consumers that anything that is getting more expensive is difficult to bring down. What kind of an answer is that?
Trump gloated that he is going to use force to take over Panama, if necessary, which is going to make the Panama people really furious. Trump is also going to raise tariffs against Denmark if it does not cede Greenland to the USA. That is wholesale bullying using Mafia tactics, clear and simple.
Trump is now using his tariff template in every other situation, thinking it is one solution that fixes all problems. The USA's two political parties always have the same modus operandi that can be used, against Russia or China as scapegoats and punching bags when anything goes out of control. The other even more sinister weapon is the use of sanctions and tariffs that both parties are resorting to when handling differences with Russia and China. Incidentally, that modus operandi is also being used now against allies, friends and foes alike. It is going to isolate the USA even further and push them to align with BRICS and escalate de-dollarization.
With regard to Trump's intention to absorb Canada into its 51st state, to enlarge the USA's land area plus coveting all the resources, Trudeau is making a belatedly strong stand that is too little too late. Years of bending over backwards to accommodate the USA in its dispute with China, showing his weakness, which he already knew, he cannot deal with the prospect of facing the USA under Trump's rhetoric and is throwing in the towel early by resigning.
Amidst all this, would the 'Principled' one dared to open his mouth. I think not.

Canada and Greenland have rich resources to be exploited by the USA. Panama had the canal, a money spinner that the USA is eyeing. Mexico holds the bulk of Chinese investments that Trump wants to take over. Trump is using the same fabricated China threat as a pretext to take over all the above countries.
Trump's also wants to use Greenland to control the Arctic, or should I say to be used as blockade in times of conflict, which Russia and China are also exploring the Arctic Shipping route, now being more navigable due to climate change. Russia and China have little foothold in Greenland other than the several visits made by Greenland leaders to China and given all the protocol expected. That does not mean China is controlling Greenland. Greenland is an autonomous territory of the Sovereign State of Denmark and has freedom to conduct relations with any other country.
Suffice to say, Canada, despite all the fire and fury over Trump's rhetoric, may be a possible addition to the USA as its 51st state, but not the others. After all, Canada has been behaving like a colony of the USA already, doing what the USA dictates and following the USA in whatever it does. Canada will wag its tail when ordered by the USA. When told to jump it will just ask 'how high'.
Some are making the comment jokingly that Canada should make the USA its 11th province, instead of Canada becoming the 51st state of the USA.
Trump is equally long on promise but short on delivery. Already proven during his first term. Need more proof in his second term? Nah, not what we are seeing now.
