Thoughts of Virgo49

Wow thought wasting our breaths in further commenting on the Daft and Selfish and Self interests Singaporeans.

But actually for certain categories of lower and vulnerable Singaporeans, they have really no choice but to vote and have the PAP in power as they are helpless and feared whether if the Opposition were to be the Ruling Government were they given a beggar lifeline to survive.

Firstly the unfortunate lower income and destitute Singaporeans who thru their years of hard work and slots had no real savings to tide them over in cases of need and emergency.

Our high cost of livings and their meagre incomes especially our old generations when our time if you are not holding any executive or managerial jobs you cannot have much savings in cash and CPFs.

Even though our cost of livings and holdings are not so high at that time. But most also living from hand to mouth as have to support their younger families.

So the Papies using the taxpayers monies to once a while thrown some scraps for them to catch their breaths had them no choice but to keep them in power.

Also, many of them are under the mercy of various Government departments for favours and fears that they be not granted further assistance.

For instance those needed every now and then to renew their vocational licences and tenancies.

Also, some no choice scorned and spurred by our Singaporean womenfolk who are too high class and demanding of their men had many of the lesser endowed men took Foreign spouses or girlfriend.

They have to beg and be under the balls and mercy to obtain approvals even now and then for them in long term stays.

So no choice have to vote the Papies in power. If their constituency were to be under the Opposition then heavens have to bless them to get all these favours and approvals.

The PAP in power for so long since LKY's time had already tighten the nooses and leashes on all Singaporeans.

Every damn vocations and professions needed licensing. Tighten the noose if you go against them. Pulled the leashes if you dared go astray.

Next, we have the middle class Singaporeans who made good mostly with executive and managerial positions.

They with still immigrant behaviours had ideas that as long as we are okay and am confident that our children are also on a way okay with full advantages over the other Singaporeans children why upset the boat.

Why worry and concern about other's plights?

Since LKY's time, been drummed into their heads and psyche that's "NO ONE OWES YOU A LIVING" mantra.

So most Sinkies already lost their souls with this hardened thinking. Too bad, you are just no good and useless as processed by LKY. So even hide in hypocrisy that we are Singaporeans. Singing We Are One and even served together in National Service.

In fact Sinkies feared their own more than the Foreigners.
Also ad I said we are so comfortable and most had good connections either with their peers or even their alumni that have special and reservations choices for their children and kins so just kept mum and enjoy the benefits.

Then we come to the worst class of Singaporeans. The so called Elites who made good on the sweat, blood and tears of their fellow Singaporeans.

These are the most comfortable and well paid of all the lots. Aiya stay on top what's the fark look down for what's?

We had all the connections and are the privileged lots for any benefits. Let the peasants fight and killed themselves.

What's Singaporeans and Comrades in arms ah?

Most even in civvy streets just because they are appointed as Officers in their Service with their fellow Singaporeans still want to pull ranks on their subordinates in their work places.

Just like that how lian Keppel or Sembawang guy who are chosen to run in the last election.

Many had criticised of his arrogant and crude behaviours of bullying and scoring his peers and

Shud be bullying and scorning his peers and colleagues.

These Imbeciles never think that they are just salaried men as defined by the Japanese. What's do great even you are just an Exec CEO of an organisation. You are still a salaried man.

You are not your own boss even for a small time kachang puteh stall. In fact he is more capable as he needed to run his stall well as ups and downs on his business

Your company collapsed and you just patted your backsides and off you go still with the millions that you are paid with.

So all these so called Elites are the worst and most selfish lots NOT to rock and sink their boat of treasures and luxuries.

So do you think they open their golden mouths to speak on behalf of their fellow less fortunate Singaporeans..?

SinkiesLAND is just a myth in Nation Hood.

All these loose and indifferent and selfish beans the PAP will rule forever.

Cheers

Virgo

Singapore is a meteor, a flash of lights and it fizzles out into the darkness of oblivion.

What the father built, the prodigal son destroys, especially nationhood.

40 years of nation-building destroyed in 10 years. All because of greed and stupidity.

"Grow GDP at all costs"? At the costs of the citizens suffering and regressing, instead of a better life and progressing.

Those who actively discourage others from vaccination should read this and think again!

In September, she tested positive for the coronavirus and was hospitalised as her pregnancy put her at higher risk. But Madam Khoo was asymptomatic and discharged after a week of observation and negative tests.

So, when she started to develop symptoms a month later and got a positive result from a self-test kit on Oct 22, she decided to rest at home instead of going to a clinic or hospital as she thought she would recover as quickly as before.

On Oct 26, Madam Khoo noticed that her oximeter reading was at about 80 per cent. A normal blood oxygen reading is typically between 95 and 100 per cent.

So she called for an ambulance and was taken to Changi General Hospital (CGH).

She was then transferred to SGH because she was pregnant while having an underlying medical condition, which made her case complex.

By the time she reached SGH, her oxygen levels were as low as 70 per cent and she was immediately intubated and connected to a breathing machine.

The multidisciplinary medical team at SGH considered immediately delivering Madam Khoo's baby so that she would need less oxygen support to survive. But Madam Khoo's condition was deteriorating rapidly, leaving no better alternative than Ecmo life support.

Dr Sewa Duu Wen, a senior consultant at SGH's respiratory and critical care medicine department, said Ecmo, which takes over the function of the heart and lungs, bought precious time for the Covid-19 treatments to take effect on Madam Khoo and for her lungs to recover.

It also bought time for Madam Khoo's then unborn son to develop in her womb while she was being stabilised and treated.

Dr Tan Wei Ching, senior consultant at SGH's obstetrics and gynaecology department, said: "We had to think about whether we could minimise any complications for the baby, who was premature... If there is any prolonged deprivation of oxygen to the mother, the baby will definitely be affected."

Madam Khoo said she was wracked with guilt as she blamed herself for what her young infant son had to go through. Choking up, she said it took her almost two weeks to muster up the courage to see her son and to touch him.

"If I had been vaccinated, I think my body would have been able to fight the virus and I wouldn't have dragged my baby down with me," she said.

MOH
The Ministry of Health (MOH) is aware of a video circulating on social media which contains misinformation regarding the COVID-19 vaccination exercise for children aged 5 to 11, including claims that the vaccine is experimental and unsafe for children, and that in the event of any severe adverse event (SAE) post-vaccination, it is “not the Government’s problem”.

The Pfizer/BioNTech mRNA COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years old is not experimental. It has been approved by several regulatory authorities around the world, based on data collated through comprehensive international clinical trials.

During Phase 3 of the clinical trials, the vaccines were administered to over 2,000 children of the age band, with no serious vaccine-related adverse events observed. Since then, millions of children have received the vaccination, with a recorded incidence rate of about 1 in a million for myocarditis, which is one of the serious adverse events of greatest concern. Side effects such as fever, chills, fatigue and headache were reported less frequently and were milder in children aged 5 to 11 years than in adults and adolescents.

On the other hand, amongst children who are infected with COVID-19, while the great majority experience mild symptoms and recover well, a small number suffered from Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C), which is a serious and life-threatening condition. Vaccination for children will be very effective in preventing such adverse outcomes from COVID-19 infection.

These are some of the key considerations that led to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and the Expert Committee on COVID-19 Vaccination (EC19V), after reviewing international studies and clinical data, to conclude that the vaccine is safe and efficacious, and that the benefits of vaccination for children outweigh the risks.

In the unlikely event that a child experiences serious side effects that are assessed to be related to the vaccine, the child will be eligible for the Vaccine Injury Financial Assistance Programme (VIFAP), so long as they are Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents or Long-Term Pass Holders.

The video also distorted the purpose of the vaccination consent form. The consent form is to obtain the informed consent of the parent/guardian for the child/ward to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, after having reviewed and considered the risks and benefits of the vaccination as outlined in the accompanying vaccination information sheet. This practice of obtaining informed consent is consistent with what is done for other medical procedures, including childhood vaccinations, such as Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Diphtheria, and Tetanus.

The video also falsely exaggerates the dangers and potential long-term side effects of COVID-19 vaccines for young children, and seeks to discourage parents from having their children vaccinated. This is a great disservice to our children, who need to be protected against COVID-19, especially with the impending emergence of an Omicron transmission wave.

We strongly encourage parents to have your children vaccinated if they are medically eligible, to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection and severe illness, and to keep your families and wider community safe. Remember, COVID-19 does not make you sign consent forms, does not inform you of the risk of infection, nor offer injury assistance. It will just infect and harm us. The fact that the Government is taking all these steps does not mean vaccines are therefore dangerous. They are good and correct policy and administrative practices.

It is up to us as a society to implement and support the right public health policies, and as individuals, to take care of ourselves and of one another, to keep our society and children as safe as possible.
