Below is a short extract from an article in RT written by Norman Lewis that told a story of American arrogance, conned by Gordon Chang that China was about to implode 20 years ago, self delusion, American pride and believing in their own dismissive myth that the Chinaman was destined to be cooks and laundrymen with no talent, good for nothing coolies. In a short 40 years, while the Americans continued to be intoxicated in smoking weeds, the dragon arose from its century snooze, and the Americans did not seen it coming, refused to believe that it can be true.
Now the dragon is standing at the door of the Americans, breathing fire at the Americans in shocking disbelief. How did it happen, how could it happen? This is the price for believing in one's own foolishness, that the Americans are the chosen race, to rule the world, American Exceptionalism.

A new study from Harvard’s Belfer Center comparing the technological capabilities and progress of the US and China is an alarming read for Americans – and illustrates why the predictions of many experts were ill-judged.
The report, titled ‘The Great Technological Rivalry’, has concluded not only that China has made extraordinary technological leaps, making it a “full-spectrum peer competitor,” but that it looks well placed to dominate the future.
In less than a quarter of a century, America’s preeminent technological leadership of the world has been reversed. China has displaced the US as the top high-tech manufacturer globally, producing 250 million computers, 25 million automobiles, and 1.5 billion smartphones in 2020.
But besides becoming a manufacturing powerhouse, as Graham Allison (one of the Harvard Report’s authors) and Eric Schmidt (former CEO of Google) note in an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, “In each of the foundational technologies of the 21st century – artificial intelligence, semiconductors, 5G wireless, quantum information science, biotechnology and green energy – China could soon be the global leader. In some areas, it is already No. 1.”
This is a remarkable turnaround, and one that most Western experts arrogantly did not consider possible.
The Harvard Report observes, for example, that in 1999, the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine declared that America’s “uniquely powerful system for creating new knowledge and putting it to work for everyone’s benefit” would remain the single largest determinant for the 21st century.
The Harvard Report also recalls how Time Magazine, in its special issue ‘Beyond 2000’, asserted that “China cannot grow into an industrial giant in the 21st century. Its population is too large and its gross domestic product too small.” China scholar William Kirby in the Harvard Business Review, reflecting the prevailing wisdom of the experts at the time, asserted that “China [was] largely a land of rule-bound rote learners” that could only imitate, not innovate. Only free thinkers, apparently – not copycats under authoritarian rule – could innovate in the era of information technology....

Blinken cancelled his visit to Thailand after a member of his delegation was tested positive for Covid. Or was it that the Thais told him not to bother as his aggressive trouble making agenda was not welcomed?
As expected, Malaysia thought it was worth it to work with the Americans to mess around with Myanmar's domestic affair, forgetting what the Americans did to them in the MDB case. Malaysia did not think it would be their turn soon.
The smarter Indonesians stood their ground, not wanting to be dragged into the American's mischief making and shit stirring agenda in the region.

Gordon Chang has done an excellent job for China, to buy time for China to rise without the Americans in harms way. Now the Americans are desperately trying to bring down China but it is already game over.
Do not be surprised Gordon Chang would be invited to China and presented with a meritorious award in the next China National Day.
President Widodo is smart. Earlier he already said that Indonesia would not want the big powers to stir up this region and drag them into their confrontation. He has not changed his mind fortunately. But unfortunately the USA and UK are going to use Australia sooner or late to destabilise the region.
Of the Malaysians, they probably think that the USA will continue to protect their NEP of racial politics as in the USA. The USA only cares for the racial politics in BB Xinjiang, not the racial politics in India and Malaysia. In any case Malaysian politicians will sell their grandmothers for any benefit that the USA can promise. Look at the way they sodomised each other for power grab. Even the sly old fox fell into the trap despite his decades of foxing his way over his opponents.
You can be sure that the agenda of Blinken's visit was to coax Malaysia and Indonesia to take the USA's side to counter China. Of what purpose does it benefit Malaysia or Indonesia to take the side of the USA to antagonise China?
They say it well enough that it is better to have a close neighbour than a far away friend. But then they also say that Money talks and Bullshit walks.
The reality is that we do not even have to keep repeating the 'China Miracle' as the world can clearly see the rapid rise of China, economically, militarily and improving their own people's living conditions, not to talk about their diplomatic efforts to help poor countries improve their infrastructures for development. The only thing they did not do was create wars.
It is a fact, not an illusion. Not the kind of illusion that Gordon Chang created to bolster the ego of the USA and the West. They swallowed that illusion, became complacent, arrogant and assumed that China can never overtake them.
The reality hits them like a bolt of lightning. But it was too late a realisation and they panicked, became nervous, jealous, not knowing how to compete and, as expected, resorting to sabotage China's progress in all possible aspects, just like what they did to Japan. How pathetic!
The Americans are running around like a rabid dog, trying to bite anything to bring down China. Unfortunately all the fools around the world are dead except for a handful. The rest of the world would stay far far away from the ugly and warmongering Americans.
They tried to boycott the Winter Olympic when they were not invited. So far only the 5 eyes Anglo Saxon are boycotting while the rest of world happily got invited and supported the Games.
No longer can the savage Anglo Saxon be calling the shot.
Even though Russia had been banned from participating as a country, Putin has indicated he will be there under invitation by Xi. That is a loud and clear statement that Russia stands closely behind China in taking on the USA and the West.
