MOH said that it was alerted by Ng Teng Fong General Hospital of the lady’s death on July 25. She had been treated at the hospital’s emergency medicine department the same evening.
The death of a 64-year-old Singaporean woman whose demise occurred on the same day she received her first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine was "caused by hypertensive heart disease and coronary artery disease," the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Saturday (Aug 7).
The ministry was responding to queries from TODAY over a post by Facebook user Charlene Yong.
Ms Yong had written about how her mother had collapsed eight hours after taking her first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at around 10am on July 25.
Ms Yong said that her mother, who led an active life, had been mopping the floor just before she collapsed.
Ms Yong had questioned if the vaccine had triggered her mother’s death or if it was just “pure coincidence”.
She wrote: “My mother leads an active life and is mostly healthy except for controlled hypertension and mild diabetes. What could have happened during the course of the vaccination that robbed her of her life?”
Everyone has medical conditions, especially those above 50 years old.
The question on many people's mind is:
Could the vaccines triggered or aggravate the existing medical conditions to the extent of causing imminent death?

If she had not listened to PAP's propaganda to go and get vaccinated, she most probably would still be alive.
The most sickening thing is that the authority whom she had trusted is trying its very best to deflect the blame and responsibility, and deprive her of any claims for financial aid that has been catered for such eventuality.
Many oldies are dying or develop serious illnesses after the jab, likely due to their health and other medical conditions.
What did the medical experts got to say about this?
It is quite obvious of the bias being trotted out by the powers that be and the MSM.
Elsewhere, some younger people have serious complications when they are infected with the virus, but the narratives that follow will leave out the part of telling us whether they have been vaccinated or not. That is an important point.
Here in Red Dot, when old people have serious complications or death, the first thing I read will always be that those oldies have not been vaccinated and thus have complications. The arguments have always steered towards hearing the good stuff about vaccines and blaming the bad on inherent conditions.
Of course I understand Temasek has invested millions in those big Pharmas, even undertaking a bond issue perhaps for a bigger piece of the cake.
Is this responsible reporting?
This is selective reporting and is followed by every MSM worldwide. Of course you cannot accuse them of lying, but they select and highlight the news that the Powers that be wants to propagate, leaving out the news that they do not want the public to know. They even generate propaganda, distribute them to these MSMs to be published globally.
Just take a moment to digest why citizens of the USA and the West know very little and only all the bad stuff about China like backwardness, poverty stricken, dictatorial leaders, ill treating minorities, having concentration camps etc all stuck deeply inside their minds from consistent brainwashing by the the MSM over the decades, with the blessing of the USA Government. Progress in China is never a thing they will relish and publish.
It is now only through social media and, lately, the work of a group of Caucasians, like Cyrus Jansen, Gweilo60 and Barrett to name a few, living and working in China reporting on the real China and it's real progress, through sight and sound, that we are seeing a change in thinking by some quarters in the West and waking them up to see China themselves in person.
This group of Caucasian's undertaking has hurt the MSM and the West obviously, with accusations that these are people paid by China to say those things. It is to be expected when they lost the ability to compete and convince. The MSM has even lost it's credibility nowadays.
The best business, the easiest business, to do is to be able to use the law to coerce people to buy, like compulsory insurance schemes, compulsory savings schemes, compulsory vaccination....

You have said nothing but the truth. Compulsory insurance schemes like Medishield, Eldershield and Careshield are all ponzi schemes to suck in the people's hardworking sweat money. Can you believe, I am an octogenarian and yet every time I try to use those shields for payments they throw in a lot of hurdles and excuses and said under such term I could not use those shields for payments. What makes the people more angry is the fact that all these shields make billions of dollars in nett profit annually as reported in the press.
They are elected to serve the people but they only serve themselves and lord over the citizens. Real disgusting.
The wickedness of these schemes is that they don't spare the oldies, retired, no income, struggling to live, no money to buy food, but their little savings in the CPF being robbed.

SINGAPORE — A 69-year-old Singaporean man died on Wednesday (Aug 11) from complications due to Covid-19.
In a media statement, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said that the man developed symptoms on July 28 and was admitted to Tan Tock Seng Hospital the next day where he tested positive for Covid-19 infection.
“He had not been vaccinated against Covid-19, and had a history of stroke, diabetes mellitus, hypertension and hyperlipidaemia,” MOH said.
Hyperlipidaemia, a blood condition, is one of the main risk factors for coronary heart disease and stroke.
This is the sixth death from Covid-19 this month. The first was a 34-year-old Ukrainian man who died on Aug 1 while the fifth death this month was an 80-year-old Singaporean woman who died on Aug 7.
There are now 43 people who have died in Singapore after contracting the coronavirus.
On Wednesday, Singapore recorded 63 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total tally to 65,953 since the outbreak began.
