To be ranked as world best university by western organisations seemed to be a highly desired accolade for many universities. To be ranked among the top 10, the top 100, confers the graduates from these universities as among the best in the world, top talents. In general this looks like the case and of course there are exceptions. Some universities are ranked very high but produced duds, useless graduates that are good only at mid executive levels at most and many could not even find gainful employment and have to resort to part time jobs, some even have to drive for Grab.
Then there this outstanding exception that has stunned the world. India, without any university in the top 100, maybe not even in the top 500 best, is producing the most top executives for MNCs in the whole wide world. The Indian graduates are beating the Europeans and Americans in their home ground, taking over their companies not just as middle executives or senior executives but as the top dogs, the CEOs. There are thousands of Indian CEOs heading western MNCs, even Japanese MNCs and of course Singaporean MNCs.
Surprising, shocking, not true? Yes, the Indians have got their education system right. Many may still think the Indian education system is half baked, primitive, and basic. Think again, and look at the names of all the top CEOs in western MNCs, the big and reputable ones, the Fortune 500 companies, they are mostly Indians. They must be teaching the right stuff, and not the unnecessary and frivolous. And Singapore is salivating at the prospect of bringing in more Indians to fill the top posts in business and in govt. The Indians are the best in the world, in business and in govt. Ok, the latter still needs more proof.
The irony, very few foreigners would want to send their children to India to benefit from what they are doing right and to become future CEOs of big MNCs. And more surprising, some Indians are sending their students to study in Singapore's world class universities that could hardly produce a MNC CEO other than in local companies in tiny Singapore. Increasingly Singapore companies, the bigger and more established ones, are going to be helmed by Indians from India.
What is the moral of the story? Go to India to get a good education, an education that would turn graduates into future CEOs if that is what you want. And Indian education is relatively cheap. Do not send your children to super expensive highly ranked universities that are good on paper only, good to look at, good to brag about but turning out unemployeable graduates or graduates at best be good enough to work for MacDonalds or Grab.

This is survival skill, to compete with snakes and cheats.
Indian universities are able to produce millions of CEOs because they teach their undergraduates only three key subjects:
1. Positive Outlook and CONfidence.
2. Impressive Presentation.
3. Mastery of Language.
And for their post-graduates, they teach them two more subjects:
4. How to talk your way to success.
5. How to make your boss love you.
I will be sending my grand children to study at Indian universities as well as at the Philippines' universities. Both are cheap and good. Both are producing graduates and professionals who are highly sought after by Singapore, UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

The results of sending them to western Ivy League universities only show that they can become generals and CEOs of GLCs or ministers and nothing else. In other words, to make them CEOs of international MNCs or local companies is a big F, Failed!
India is the place to go for a good and marketable education and degrees. Philippines is next best.

New Zealand's PM has said nearly everyone entering the country from midnight on Sunday must self-isolate to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
Jacinda Ardern said the new measure also included returning New Zealanders. The only exemption is for small Pacific islands with no confirmed virus cases.
"I make no apologies. This is an unprecedented time," Ms Ardern said, describing the new rules as the strictest in the world.
New Zealand has six confirmed cases.
Speaking at Saturday's news briefing, Ms Ardern said the new restrictions would be reviewed by the authorities in 16 days.
PM Ardern also said that no cruise liners would be allowed to dock in New Zealand's ports until 30 June.

India has had the Best or rather unrival knowledge of the Cosmos and Divine of the Universe. Bhagavad Gita was writtened thousands of years back and so are many of the Other Indian Classic Mythologies.

The bible says 'bless are the meek for they shall inherit the earth" - indians are willing to work for long hours for very low pay until they get to do very important tasks and then they will ask for everything. not many willing to do that la. beware the meek.

To me the meek and the weak seemed to be bullied and exploited most by the unscrupulous and strong.
Like you need some extraordinary bad hats more terror than that bad hats to tame them.
In the 60s/70s we had many bad hats. But sometimes these bad hats also acted as a sort of detergent to the Rich and Evil Bad Hats.
They were also afraid of the other bad hats and thus acted as a balance to some meek and weak human beans.
Now, Sinkieland is too sanitised without this balance and the meek, weak are been bullied frequently.
The worse is that the Legal Protector of the meek and weak are also in the league to bully them.
They have not do their proper duties as in their given appointments and ranks to protect the meek and weak.
Fine examples of the Mee Toh Pri School bullies. Also, another of a poor father who slapped the rascal boy who bullied his child and was sent to jail.
The School Authorities do nothing even after he reported to them about the bullying.
These chia sais principals and teachers are gaji buta like the PAP MPs and Ministers.
So, the meek and weak must NOT be meek and weak. They must be strong to fight back.
After all, the bullying party is also human like you and he too has also fears of dying and maybe more than you.
