My estate burst into loud applause and clapping at 8pm sharp, a sound of appreciation to all the health workers fighting Covid19 in the front line and also risking their lives doing so. This little gesture is from the hearts of all Singaporeans, to every man and woman out there caring for the infected and trying to save their lives, keeping them alive and consoling them in this very lonely and silent war of life and death.
A big thank you to all of you. No amount of words and clapping could express the gratitude of the people for these gallant and self sacrificing people. This is real sacrifice by putting their lives out there, while trying to save lives. The govt can do more for these heroes and heroines out there.

My estate too burst into loud claps in appreciation of what the frontline medical professionals, staffs, assistants, helpers and volunteers out there risking their own lives and well-being saving others from this horrendous monster that is so tiny, stealthy, sneaky and cunning - a pest that is so vicious and evil, that pervades every loop and corner - causing immense damage, fear, suffering and deaths, called the COVID-19!
51 doctors in Italy have died and more than 600 health workers infected.
Other than Mother, Father and Sibling,
the Next Most Caring Folks are those that care for us when we are unwell.
The
Chinese has a Saying 医者父母心 meaning those that care for the Sick are as loving as ones' parents.
Though some medical professionals have become avaricious, most are by and large caring folks.
Most Nursing Staff are consistently angels in character.

In Spain than 40 doctors have died and in China unconfirmed news said that more than 100 doctors and medical specialists have died.
In Austria, 50% of private doctors have died.
In UK, USA, Russia, India, Iran and the Philippines, the number of doctors died went unreported, perhaps intentionally, so as not to create alarm!
These are mostly young and healthy people whose body's natural resistance against the virus collapsed because of prolonged fatigue, lack of sleep, lack of proper nourishment and lack of protective equipment! This is very unthinkable and very sad!
China's Doctors and their voulnteers medical workers even after stamping down their own epidemic in Wuhan flew to all parts of Globe which are also badly affected by the Virus to risk their lifes in helping to fight their outside war for others.
NOT wars of aggressions against others but for others. Risking their lives NOT their responsibilities as their own but as Human Beings with consciences.

Yet, badm mouthers bad mouthed them. Risking that some may even ever come back walking again but in caskets.
Even rejected their Govt extra gratuity or gratitude of only 1500 yuan.
Saying it's their duties.
Also, the humans that they might saved now in the future may not be grateful to them and may even harm them and their families and Country with devish Agenda.

A Statute of Commendation or a Mememerial of some kind should be erected to commemorate these frontline healthcare heroes & heroine who sacrificed their lives to care & save the victims of the novel coronavirus outbreak. They are to be honoured & remembered about this crises annually to all the people of their home country cause without them there would be never a peace, therefore these people who sacrificed their lived during this virus outbreak r equivalent to the world heroes & heroine. Hormat Senjata! Salute & respect with great gratitude to these heroes & heroine!
