India still fantasising its big power dream. Only low thinking leaders will be mesmerised by India

India thinks it is a favorite dog of the USA all along. It gets invited to the G7 and with that it thinks it can sashay inside BRICS as well. Trump probably threatened India not to join the BRI and the Indians complied. Joining BRICS was a different matter, as it means India became the Trojan Horse for the USA inside BRICS. Now, India is like a stray dog left behind by other countries in Asia.

Thankfully, India was also invited to join the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) the largest free trade agreement in the world made up of 15 nations around the Indo-Pacific region but chose not to join. That was a blessing in disguise for the others. The Indians think too highly of themselves, refusing to join knowing that China is the dominant nation. India is only interested in bullying its smaller neighbors like Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka. When Pakistan and Bangladesh moved closer to China, India was not happy. India is behaving like the USA, not allowing China to have any influence over any other country.
