India is partnering EU to build 6 Gen fighter and EVs...the blind idolising the blind

Understand that Modi has an understanding with the EU to co-operate in the EV battery sector in order to counter China's dominance.

Now, the EU does not have much of a reputation in the field of EV battery manufacturing, and so does India. Perhaps the blind leading the blind can come up with something earth shattering. Moreover, China still controls all the raw materials, like Lithium, for the manufacturing of EV batteries. China presently holds 70% market share of global battery manufacturing.

Having said that, China is now moving away from Lithium based EV batteries and is already into mass producing sodium-ion based batteries that are a better storage medium and have longer charging life cycles than Lithium based batteries. Such batteries are safer, generate less heat and less likely to explode and causing destructive fires.
