The USA was the country that kidnapped Black Africans to works as slaves and probably did not even pay them slave wages. As Putin always say, whatever the USA accused others of doing, it has done it itself. Is the USA not ashamed talking about slave wages? Obviously not!
Now, we have come to the stage of a nuclear war. Which country had ever been known to nuke another country in the history of mankind? Not once, but twice. And yet accusing North Korea of being a threat to the world with its possession of nukes. Will the world wake up and be sensible as to who is a greater nuclear threat to the rest of the world.
Now psychotic Trump is again talking about trying to have another meeting to persuade Kim Jong Un to de-nuclearize. De-nuclearize and let the USA flatten it? Who is realistically going to trust the USA leaders like Trump. Kim is not as foolish as Trump may think, although he is trying to flatter Kim by saying he is a smart guy. When his back is turn, Trump is a different kind of person, and as someone commented, Trump will even sell out his own grandmother.

In this current state of affairs in the world, the only nuclear deterrent is possession of nuclear weapons.
Right. And that is what Iran now wants.
Oops, Red Dot is also doing feasibility studies about having nuclear power stations if I read correctly. A feasibility study in 2012 had deemed it unsuitable for safety reasons. If it does become reality, I wonder where that nuclear power station will be sited. Will neighbors take issue if it is sited on one of the satellite islands close to them? Maybe the Istana will be a good place, next to the President's palace. But in case of a nuclear accident, everyone on the island is going to lose their lives. We have nowhere to be evacuated like Ukraine or Japan. Perhaps just underground MRT stations, LOL. But for how long can Singaporeans remain underground and how many people can those underground stations take in? Nuclear fallout is not a day or two to be settled. Even smog took weeks to clear. We are talking about years, decades and centuries even.
Just my two cents worth thinking about it. Maybe the experts have already studied the issue and knows how to deal with it. Moreover, China is on the verge of having small nuclear power generating equipment, maybe even portable ones, LOL. Problem is there are still nuclear waste to consider.
The world should have seen that the most dangerous country threatening the peace of the world is nukes in the hands of the USA.
Red Dot is waiting for neighbors Indonesia and Malaysia to build nuclear plants, after which it can expect little opposition from these two countries. Otherwise, I am sure it is not so easy to just go ahead unilaterally and do it.
Philippines already had a nuclear power plant, but not yet functional after 41 years, but said to be operational by 2032. We do not know yet what is already obsolete in such a facility built between 1976 and 1984. On and off, study after study all came to nothing being put into operation.
