Washington clowns woke up to know that real AI talents are Chinese

US should ‘steal’ China’s best talents, Senate hears

The US should welcome China’s best scientific minds into its universities to compete with the mainland’s success in AI, American lawmakers in Washington heard on Thursday, as Chinese start-up DeepSeek unnerved the global tech market this week.

“Let’s steal their best engineers,” said Melanie Hart of the Washington-based Atlantic Council at a hearing convened by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Referencing the Chinese talent behind DeepSeek’s AI models, Hart testified that “we’d be better off if the engineers behind that were working here in the US”.

To achieve that, she continued, students from the mainland would need to feel safe in America, adding: “We can beat Beijing at making Chinese scientists feel safe.”

Hart’s comments came as Washington debates how best to retain top talent while safeguarding US intellectual property rights and national security.

They also coincide with a growing trend of US-based Chinese scientists returning to the mainland, driven in part by concerns of racial profiling under American national security policies.

Nobody in their right mind will want to go you the sickest country on earth unless they want to get shot, discriminated upon and abused by the rednecks and hillbillies. And pay through your nose to live.

The already stole the Chinese scientists and engineers in the past, by attracting them to study and remain in the USA to help in the development of the sciences and technology.

But they made a big fatal mistake to discriminate against them, fabricate lies about their spying and forcing most of them to return to China. Now they want those scientists and engineers to return to the USA. It is not as simple as giving candy to a kid to change their minds. Once bitten twice shy. China is now able to retain them to help its technology sector with all the fundamentals for them to innovate and progress without discrimination.

America has loosed their edge over many other countries. their superiority over other in almost everything is lacking - manufactur’g (unit cost), internal infrastructures - transportation, hospitality, cost of living and medical affordability.
If you have a felon for a leader, there is no justice in the system????

We all know only a couple of important Chinese inventions that changed the world. The most well-known are the seismograph, compass, gunpowder and paper and printing. These five are already inventions that benefit mankind tremendously, as they undergo refinement and innovation.

The seismograph allowed the prediction of earthquakes and where it occurred, allowing fast life-saving response. The compass allowed ships on the high seas to navigate accurately, which is why the Chinese under Admiral Zeng He was already leading expeditions to as far as East Africa and as early as the 14th century. The invention of gunpowder in the early period was for celebration purposes, which later evolved into development of weapons and present-day rocketry and space exploration. The most profound invention must be paper and printing which allowed the mass dissemination of knowledge with the printing of books which promoted mass education.

But beyond all this, not many people know all the other inventions that the Chinese had accomplished, some more than two thousand years ago. Among them was the production of silk, porcelain, the abacus, the crossbow, the umbrella, wheelbarrow, tea, parachute, suspension bridge, bronze mirror and many others. Some were real surprises that many people would wrongly give credit to the West.

Beyond all the inventions, we must not forget that the ancient Chinese were already studying the stars, the moon, their influence on the tides which is how we now have the lunar calendar. That was how advance the ancient Chinese were. China is now reclaiming its former glory under a more modern concept of progress.

Even the quality of their leaders leaves much to be desired. But let them keep believing in their superiority complex. As they say, never try to correct the mistakes of your enemies.
