Conman Trump still thinks he is going to con Kim Jong Un into de-nuclearizing

Conman Trump still thinks he is going to con Kim Jong Un into de-nuclearizing. I can safely say that this is an exercise in futility.

North Korea's nuclear possession is the result of three generations of the Kim family's sacrifice and the sacrifice of the North Korean people. The decades of sanctions have stifled North Korea's economy and isolated the country.

Do not say that North Korea has no friends though. There is Russia, China and a host of countries in Africa that can still remember its help in their anti-colonial fight. And Kim Jong Un is not going to just give it up listening and being persuaded by a conman.

Even before Trump finally sets out on his mission, Kim has already fired his shot. He is intent on upgrading North Korea's nuclear deterrent agenda. Kim cannot afford to believe in Trump, who will just have four years in the White House. What happens when the next President comes in and clears the deck, like Trump did with all the treaties with the Russians? It is a risk that Kim cannot afford to take.

Kim is perhaps interested in taking up another free and easy holiday, all paid for by others, but on the issue of de-nuclearization, that is more like a 'Red Line' that cannot be crossed. For all we know, Kim's survival may be at stake after North Korea's de-nuclearization. A regime change is not out of the question. Without a deterrent that is keeping the country relatively safe, the stakes are too high to gamble with. Japan and South Korea are thorns in the side of North Korea and may want to pull the plug as proxies for the USA to control North Korea and have a border closer to Russia and China from which the USA can do its nonsense.

Having met Kim Jong Un twice without achieving anything, Trump is truly delusional. If he thinks he can force Kim Jong Un on to his knees this time around by using retaliation threats, he is mistaken. Threat of more sanctions and tariffs would not work, with more than 60 years of sanctioning just wasted effort. A military threat is still questionable, and the world would not want to suffer a nuclear catastrophe, not South Korea or Japan especially.

North Korea is no Panama, Saudi Arabia, Denmark, Greenland, Mexico or Canada. It is a nuclear state; small it may be. but with Russia behind its back who wants to take a bet? No one knows what kind of alliance is already forged between Putin and Kim. North Korea, anyway, is no pushover for delusional Trump.

Trump is smart enough to know that whatever he discussed with Kim will not come into fruition. He is just enjoying the attention given & will not honor what he told Kim. He is also enjoying the free holiday in Singapore provided by the sucker singaporean G.
